I am on just about every day, unless I have something to do the next day, I am on till around 5-6am everyday.[Yes, my sleep schedule is really bad.] SRP gets active for me between 3am to 6am so I do try my best to come online during the 'peak' hours. Though of course I am also on when the server isn't at it's peak. I've attached a time table for my activity (Though this is just an estimate as I plan my work hours weekly.]

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
Oh boy, time to yap.
I would say my experiences with roleplaying is rather diverse. Even though I am rather new to the SRP scene, I have had the pleasure of experiencing many different types of roleplays on the server. The main ones that I currently focus on would be GangRP, CrimeRP, FamilyRP, AdultRP, ReporterRP (??) and the occasional RomanceRP because of the drama. #Ilovedrama.
I'll be breaking down the experiences I have with these different types of RP as well as the RPs I used to do in the past!
GangRP
Ah yes. My favorite. I'd be lying if I said most of my activity on the server does not revolve around GangRP. With me leading a gang, most of my time on the server is mainly just me making sure Parabellum doesn't crumble away. Though I am no longer as lazer focused on the gang as I've realized that there is much more to the server than just gang roleplaying! Despite all this, I am not someone who enjoys 'doing perms'. I prefer to have story based gangrp. I'm someone who enjoys developing my characters story wise and what better way to develop my silly thug through him leading a gang? There has been multiple situations that has allowed me to expand on his character. I mean, where else will you find situations where your characters 'family' is on the line, potential life risks, betrayal from people he considers family and of course! The crash outs!!!
Crime RP
Of course, doing crime is needed for someone to be a criminal, right? It's all in the name! With me being actively involved with multiple criminal factions such as BloodHounds, Fight Club and Black Market Dealer associate, I've had the pleasure of doing more than just '/me slams bat on head, /me mugs 5k' I've been able to experience intel gathering, really REALLY fun fights where the arena can be used to your advantage [cough, gnome, cough]. Unfortunately, I'm rather new to the BMDA faction so I have not managed to get much experience from it apart from the interview and doing one opening.
Family RP
Funfact! I used to run a family on SRP, the Yu Family. It was a family of four siblings who had decided to move to Karakura from HongKong for a fresh start. With the Yu Family, I managed to experience so much. From silly little moments where the characters are bickering over formal attire not worn at a family event to heavy detail rp sessions regarding their past in Hongkong. Of course, apart from the Yu family, I'm also apart of multiple other families. Hattori, Kyoshiro, Takada. Each family has very different dynamics, for example - Hattori's are all insane but the Kyoshiro's are much worse. With these families, I've gotten the opportunity to play a huge variety of characters. From a responsible father to a chaotic uncle.
Professor RP
I was in the professor faction for a few months but ultimately decided to leave as I just had too much on my plate. I had to juggle school, work and all that sort. But my short time in professor has allowed me to experience the school roleplay from a different perspective. Back then I was used to being the little delinquent who would cause trouble for the teachers, professors, SLT. But entering the professor faction allowed me to handle the delinquents, plan classes, host interactive classes. Albeit I was not the most active but I certainly gained a lot more experience from being a professor.
Romance RP
A little cheesy and cliche but I do enjoy romance rp. Due to my characters chaotic love life, I got to have everything. From cute little moments to intense heart breaking scenes. Through the drama, I gained the most experience. I got to learn different ways to express how my characters feel, from pure happiness to heart break.
What is your motivation for applying?
I have two main motivations for applying. One, I would love to grow my character further. Two, I would love to experience being on the side that deals with the wounds instead of the one that constantly comes into EMS with a long /it of injuries!
As mentioned above, I am someone who really enjoys developing my characters. And being able to age up my character, give him a proper job! The character that I am applying with, was unfortunately semi shelved due to me finding him rather boring. I had a lot planned for him but it was all thrown out the window. But now that the EMS applications has opened, I see this as a perfect opportunity to bring him back AND also experience being an EMS!
Secondly, as someone who give perms out like candy, I'm used to being dragged into ems and then giving them a nice long /it of his injuries. I've had so many amazing roleplay situations with doctors, psychs and paramedics. From having to get my character un-superglued to having my characters multiple wounds get stitched up. Every single one of them was memorable and I would love to be able to do the same with others! I want to expand on my roleplay skills as well as meet new people.
I've always enjoyed medical dramas such as Grey's anatomy (basic, yeah but its SO GOOD) and being able to experience that with my characters? That would be such an honor.
Which role are you applying for?
(Doctor or Psychiatrist)
I am applying for Doctor!
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
Doctor
As a doctor, they are expected to handle the walk in cases, give a proper diagnosis on the injury/sickness, prescribe the correct medication and prescription.
Based on my experiences with doctors, I have seen them use certain medical equipment to help with the diagnosis. Like an X-Ray machine for example. I've also noticed that doctors are able to perform surgeries, watch over recoveries/visits, sell the correct medication to the patient as well as a simple check up!
There are a few sub catagories of doctors and they include
- Trainee
- Attending
- Resident
Trainees are at the very bottom of the surgical food chain. They are only allowed to to do procedures that they have been trained in and are not allowed out of the hospital.
Residents are a fully fledged doctors, allowed to go off duty and are able to handle their responsibilities independently.
Attendings are the seniors! Able to handle their procedures and host trainings.
Paramedic
Paramedics are able to go out on patrol, they drive an ambulance and are able to use tranqs. My knowledge of paramedics is rather bare as I have yet to interact with any paramedics but based on what I've seen, if they are in the hospital along with a doctor, they typically hand over the walk in cases to the doctor.
When EMS receives a call regarding someone in danger, the first to react are the paramedics. If it has anything relating to bears, they would bring out their tranqs and drive over to where the injured patient is.
Psychiatrist
Psychiatrists are in charge of handling cases that are on the mental side of the patients. They provide diagnosis for whatever the patient is suffering from, provide therapy sessions, prescribe medication for said illnesses. They help the patient work through their illnesses. From what I have experienced, the psychiatrist would listen to their patient during the therapy sessions and afterwards suggest different ways for the patient to work on their problems. For example, I had a character who was struggling with wording his emotions so the psychiatrist would suggest that he carry a note book around and just write his words down!
I believe psychiatrists are also able to handle the pharmacy? Though I am not 100% sure.
Vets
I believe vets are a sub-division in the hospital. All doctors are trained on some veterinary work and are able to help any animal that is brought in. Be it by a simple check up, or a proper procedure that includes potential surgery as well!
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yup!

Character Backstory (Optional):
Shiro Toru was born in Kyoto on May 18th with his twin sister Tomoe. The two grew up to be polar opposites, Shiro was always sticking to himself, nose deep in a book while his sister ran around making friends. Their childhood was relatively great, they lived in a nice bungalow and had two very loving parents. Matsuda and Furuta Toru. Both of them were doctors so they brought in enough money for the entire family to live rather comfortably. Of course, both parents had wished for their twins to grow up and become a doctor. They'd buy the two doctor related toys, dress them up as doctors - all that sort. Though only one of the twins were interested. It was of course Shiro. Shiro had been fascinated by his parent's work ever since he could think. He would buy himself medical textbooks with his weekly allowance and self study. He was absolutely obsessed. His room was covered in medical notes, newspaper clippings of medical break throughs, posters of his favorite medical shows.
Since Shiro knew from the very beginning what his end goal was, he'd work extra hard in school. While his sister was off messing around, having fun, staying out all night? He would be studying and revising non stop. It wasn't a surprise when he'd graduate with flying colors. He even managed to score himself a scholarship to one of the best medical programs Japan offered. When he finally enrolled into the University of Tokyo, his grind never stopped. He was essentially the class nerd. Always asking questions, always doing extra work, always prepared for tests. Though in University, Shiro began climbing out of his shell. He managed to start making friends, learn to actually take breaks.
After finishing his time in school, Shiro would have been assigned The University of Tokyo Hospital for his internship. That would be where he finally get to experience his dream. Despite being absolutely drained from the long shifts? He had so much fun. He was finally fulfilling his dream to save people.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen. Some examples can be found here)
'Cardiology! I find the heart so interesting. Because what do you mean this organ pumps blood all over your body and keeps you going? I want to learn more about everything relating to the heart. How it works, why it works that way. I just find it all so interesting. And not to mention, with so many problems arising in people because of their hearts. I want to make a difference and help others.'
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
'I did my internship at he University of Tokyo Hospital where I managed to learn from amazing doctors, watch how they perform under stress and save people. Though, apart from my internship, I do not have any other work experiences. I'm still really new to this field after all..'
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Shiro Toru. He stands at 6'2, radiates pure golden retriever vibes. He is an absolute ball of sunshine, always seen with a warm smile, greeting others with his usual chirp. He has medium length brown hair that is always pulled back into a messy bun. His usual day to day outfit consists of a black button up and some mismatched ripped jeans. As much as he wanted to dress in a simple hoodie and sweatpants, his fashionista of a sister insisted that he bought a whole new wardrobe for his move to Karakura.
The entire thing about Shiro is that he is a ball of sunshine, he's always so happy and willing to talk to people. He loves talking about his love for medicine as well as anime. (Yes, he is a weeb}. Shiro is an absolute wonder to be around, he loves making others smile, always has a pocket full of candy to give out to others.
Others would probably perceive him as what he is. He is an open book, easily to read. A warm man who just has so much love for helping others.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Shiro would usually be seen at the front, either walking around or conversing with co-workers. If a patient comes in, he'd definitely rush over to help them. He'd greet people with a warm smile, offer candy or a bottle of water to anyone who is waiting for their loved ones in the waiting room. If there isn't anyone around and just a collegue? He'd definitely be seen just chatting away. Checking in on them, making small talk.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Shiro functions better with others. Being able to work with others would ensure that the patient is definitely well taken care of. Multiple pairs of eyes, multiple brains thinking. It would ensure that no mistakes are caused. Of course, if needed, Shiro would be able to work well on his own. He is confident in his work and as no problems with working by himself. He knows what he is doing and he will ensure that he does it well.
