Describe your activity on the server:

In my own words, my activity ranges. I am currently in my ending year of EMT classes and I have limited time but that does not mean I have no time. In numbers to give a better explanation it ranges for 5/10 to a 7/10. I am active when running around and interacting with friends and strangers alike. I have no issue with random encounters which I actually enjoy. I am quite often active later at night than I am in the day which is why my time schedule is rather limited but free enough to get things done. I spend most of my time doing small interactions or planned lore with friends. I am often seen running around doing my own things and also started interacting with people and the community. When I am not online on SRP, It is simple to ask for me and I will most likely be on and do what is asked. I see SRP as a very comfortable server which I enjoy spending time on. I do my best to be on the server and active as much as I can for events and in my free time.

-Roleplay-

I have been a very big fan of different roleplays like school, crime, detail and drama. Each one has shown m a different way to express a character, and I enjoy showing different styles of roleplay. Each kind has a certain theme to it and the way each kind of roleplay interacts which each other makes me very curious as to how people can adapt and mix the two. Criminals being teachers, government figures being teachers and school professors being lawyers. Each way that a different character from a different style interacts with each kind of theme of roleplay has always been a fascination to me and I hope to learn more as time goes on, as well as the more time im active on the server itself.

-Past-

In the past I have been in Gangrp. Lots and lots of Gangrp, I understand when looking over an application that kind of thing is a very fine line with how that roleplay style has become. Both grey areas and bright ones alike I stuck to the best of my ability. I was a part of several gangs with a wide variety of rules, morals, etc. Adoabsnu, Sonomi, Forelli, Mefisuto, Immetreu, Mandate,. Each of these gangs had different leads with different expectations which all were rather high. I was happy to be involved and think rather fondly of the people in them. I was also included in the BMDA and Bounty hunter, Fight Club and Crime Clinic Security which all had a wide variety of roleplay aspects which took time to adjust to in their respectful categories. My time in crime is very deep and I think that also kept my so active for so long as getting online for long amounts of time to do roleplays, permission and keep that scene alive was important in how I continue to stay on SRP even when I have nothing to do.

The past jobs I have been accepted into were English teacher and Reporter. Both gave me different skills and one was time management. The teacher was a lot of forward energy as I was constantly thinking of lesson plans while my time as a reporter gave me more ways to write and how to explain things in a thorough manner and being more comfortable with starting interactions.

These are a very rough outlook on what my free time for specifically SRP looks like. I do other things like go out and do homework, study and read which all takes time but I do my best in order to stay active when needed or when I am free.

What position are you applying for?:

I am applying for the Governor position.

What is your motivation for applying?:

My motivation stems from wanting a small change in pace of my regular roleplay interactions. I have been a teacher, reporter and both were very different and I enjoyed them. I also was curious what goes behind the scenes of the Karakura government and how it works. I have had small but powerful interactions with members of the government faction and it inspired me to find out more about what goes on when people are not looking. I have never seen, besides ID’s, how the faction interacts with the public on a general and bigger impact. I have seen many people go into the faction and said good things about them and how interactive they are with the public. The government side of the server to be one of the interesting ones as it keeps a continuous tone within the server and the roleplay that it stems from. Laws are passed and changes can be made based on actual real choices from people who study what it means to have these roles. Knowing the role itself in detail or not is still a very nice way of showing how players can have an effect on their world and the others that live in it. I want to know how much the average player can interact and make changes to the world where everyone takes time to build, I have read the documents and seen real changes from player’s characters and how they make real shifts in the legislature, rules, regulations and rights of the average player and how they all can be intertwined into the set of regulations there are already written.

-Governor Motivation Specifics-

In specific to why I am interested in the Governor job. I have seen many governors wander and do their jobs and see the responsibilities and what they do but it seems they always worked behind the scenes. As stated previously, which I find very curious and luring in a way. Working behind the scenes is something I personally like to do in many ways, roleplay and in real life to help keep things smoother. I am aware of the many things the Governor does such as pass out ID cards to people who do not have them which is important to inform government officials if a person says who they say they are. Officiate marriage, this is important as its realistic and some people like the take their characters into those situations which I find interesting. The reasoning for two characters to just stay dating going to that level is such an interesting level of roleplay. Attending trials, this is important as Governors need to see how the town itself affects players and the court itself. There are many instances and famous trials on SRP and some were less smooth and the realism put into it is amazing. Surveying the public, this was an interesting thing that Governors can do and I think it is to keep people safe. There is a certain call to duty if there is something unjust happening or an issue that should be addressed to the town hall. Governors are the first to see and report an issue. Approving adoption papers are important as it is another level of roleplay which many people like. Finally shop inspections, in realism, an inspection is to keep shops from hurting the public and keeping crime out of them and for the public to enjoy. I can see why these are needed by the amount of roleplay that is put into making sure that, for realistic purposes, these are needed to keep the economy of Karakura.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:

I have read and understood the Karakura law’s and constitutional rights. I plan to continue to read, study and keep updated on any changes made to them so I can keep a level of awareness of the changes being made from a law standpoint.

I know the differences between misdemeanors and felonies and the range of acts that can quickly be escalated from harassment, assault to assault with a weapon and assault on the government official(KPD, EMS, Government) and situations alike. Some crimes like blackmail, jaywalking and loitering are more finable crimes that do not do as much harm unless brought to a lawyer figure. I understand the climb from finable, to assault related crimes, felonies, animal related, minor crimes, government crimes, major crimes and murder crimes.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:

My goals for being in the Government Faction is to find a new way to roleplay. I have found different ways to expand my roleplay from crime, day to day activities, teaching, reporter, college, high school and roleplay that consists of long detail. I want to be able to see a new way to conduct roleplay in a law standpoint. Making a very law abiding character is easy but one that is a very strict set of expectations and standards that holds for a straight personality that aligns with the law with a similar thought process. I want to find what goes on behind the scenes of Karakura’s Government faction, how things are run and what it entails when it comes to government related topics like laws, rights and constitutions.

I am also interested in seeing how the government faction interacts with the server as a whole in a more in depth process. Watching how choices can impact the server and people's characters in a very serious way.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:

The different roles are based on the realism that is closest to their real life counterparts.

Lawyer
One of the very realistic roles in the Faction, used for trials, restraining orders and anything that needs a trial. They offer a public resource to help people and stop arguments. They are a very realistic role and have everything from taking on public cases to being contacted privately and going against other lawyers to win a court case. They are the main people who involve themselves in the inner parts of the community. They serve and do their best to help people who request their help. The front fighters keep a peaceful resolution to debates within the laws.

Judges
These are the ones who oversee trials and most of the activity within the Government Faction. They approve paperwork, approve trials, allow warrants and help file restraining orders. Everything they do is a high standard and highly detail oriented role which takes up time to make choices. Putting in more realism into the Faction in how character choices can and will have an impact on the server and its characters. One of the ways people can truly show how much they can really affect the world of Karakura and that people can do a lot to make the server interesting.

Governor
This role fills the spot for safety within the community. They do paperwork for people and help with adoption papers, passing out IDs, officiating marriages, surveying the public and doing shop inspections. They keep the public running smoothly and are the more outgoing part of the Faction. They seek to actively make changes to help the public and serve them to make it as comfortable as possible for the residents. Keeping a very public image similar to lawyers. They are constantly in need of going out to see what can be fixed. Gathering possible feedback by citizens and maintaining a polite demeanor for the Townhall as a whole.

Deputy Mayor
The deputy mayor is the one who oversees the small details and reports them to the mayor and or any problems that come to their attention. They are the second highest to keep the peace.

Mayor
The final say in what goes and stays. They look at problems, find solutions, work with everyone to keep the town hall running as smoothly as possible and continue to oversee the city itself to watch for injustice and make sure that the citizens are as happy as possible and also dealing with changing rights and constitutions to the Karakura constitution.

Each role itself is a staircase to how the Townhall operates and what it does to help the public. Each has their won way of interacting with the public with unique ways of serving it. While each one has a very different responsibility, they are all for the sake of keeping the city alive and well. Passing laws, thinking together in order to make everything feel safe as possible for the residents that reside within the cityscape. Team work is important for each role in itself and that shouldn’t be forgotten.

“Good evening, my name is Lucien Belvedere Vitale. It is quite a pleasure to meet you here. I know my physical appearance may be unsettling but I assure you that this does not stop me from showing kindness to anyone I meet, including yourself.”

“I was a former Government worker with my hometown in Italy, I can assure you my time there was not spent wandering the roads. My family kept an eye on me to keep me out of trouble when I said what I wanted to be. I am a former runner for my town’s council. I did lose though.”

“I was an accountant before I got into Governmental workings for a bank for about two years and started to work towards becoming a governmental worker in my hometown. Before that I had been doing managerial things for restaurants, buying and restocking items in my younger days. As I said though, I did try to run for a government position before.”

What makes you a good candidate for this job?:

“Well, my family was working class. My mother was a businesswoman who assisted in taxes. My father was a librarian. Odd couple but the mix of books and rules, strict regulations had piqued my interest. As I grew older I spent time in my father’s library learning about economics. The trends, the falls, the lows and highs. My mother had many cases like it and introduced me to political economics and political science. I studied both. Growing up to rely more on books, scriptures and texts rather than the internet had its pros and cons. I was a natural in history and communications. I took my time to learn, and I do that now still with people. Patience is a helpful tool. I think I fit the job description because of that, practiced patience, taking time to learn and not rushing through things. I was taught to constantly strive for what I want. I want to make sure that people can trust in the system. I have been apart of the system and seen the inner workings of how things operate in a detail orientated way while keeping bias and unjust actions out of my work and life outside of what I do. The system is meant to be changed for the better and I believe I can help do that and make it better.

A system which will in turn trust its people and regulate the rules and statutes of which people follow. I took time to study the Karakuran law, its rights and its people. I find that I also believe in making sure people are happy. That they, like many, should find enjoyment in knowing that the townhall does its best to make it a better living place for the people who reside. Making the community a whole, making sure the community is at its best, making sure that the community is happy. That is my priority and that is why I think I am the best candidate. I will ensure that peace is kept between the laws and the happiness of the residents. I take accountability, responsibility and care for the city of Karakura.
