Describe your activity on the server:
My activity on SRP would range around 9 from a scale from 1-10. I am constantly on SRP, ranging from RPing with students, adults or both! I have characters in families which require me to be active on them, so I try my absolute best to uphold those standards. Along with this, I RP in school with friends whether that be on my adult character OR if I’m just messing around in RP. Whenever out of RP, I find myself still on SRP running around or trying to meet new people. I find myself on SRP for more than 5-6 hours a day, constantly playing. Whenever I have IRL things to do like college or events I have to attend, I still find myself at least playing SRP once during that day. During my last 5-6 months of being extremely active on SRP, I mostly grinded out my hours as a Librarian. Last month, I found myself with 47 hours of quota, which is well beyond our maximum output for pay.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
Before I discovered SchoolRP, I found myself playing on a Garry’s Mod server called DARKRP. In said server, you would grind money, RP out raids, buy guns, all the kind of grinding you would expect from a typical game however RP was involved. There were positions in Government, like police. After that, my experience in roleplay was little to none until I found SchoolRP in December 2022. Since then, I’ve played SchoolRP almost constantly. My roleplay has definitely improved and I feel as though I can make characters flourish with lore and make them act exactly how I want to.
What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying stems from many reasons. One main reason I want to apply to EMS is that I want a brand new experience in MedicalRP. I found that during my time as Librarian, dealing with school situations that required me to assist students with injuries was actually extremely fun. I had been planning to maybe leave Librarian for Nurse, however, Librarian plays a big part in one of my character’s lives, and yes while they will eventually move on from it, I strive to give one of my developed but newer characters more light and experience. Applying for EMS is a wonderful way to fulfill my want to expand in MedicalRP and while also giving myself a chance to even improve on myself as a roleplayer. I also really want to step outside of my comfort zone. I’m so accustomed to the School Faction however I want to expand my comfortability as a roleplayer further into more detailed, sophisticated, and intense roleplay situations so I can learn to do and be better. RPing as EMS is a wonderful way of doing that as I will be dealing with a side of roleplaying I have little experience in and I’m extremely eager to learn how to if given the chance.
Which role are you applying for?
(Doctor or Psychiatrist):
Psychiatrist
What knowledge do you have of Hospital Work?
Personally, OOCLY I have a bit of Hospital Work information due to the nature of my current major in College. However there is still a ton of information I can still learn. Below is what I know from my own knowledge and the research I put together for this application.
Doctor:
Doctors are what the majority of people in the world look for. Doctors play a critical role in the hospital, arguably being one of the most important roles in this field of work. Based on what a Doctor might specialize in, doctors can work to find the correct diagnosis for a patient. Should a Doctor discover another Doctor might be more suitable for this diagnosis, they should pass it on or collaborate together to reach the best conclusion for the patient, offering the best care. Doctors can find the cure or the best treatment suitable for said diagnosis. Doctors are also expected to keep up with sterilization as well as hygiene. This is all important when it comes to working with patients to ensure there is no type of cross-contamination nor any kind of dirt that might invade the body while being worked on. Doctors are also responsible for prescribing medications. It can be simple medicines like Amoxicillin which is an antibiotic or a more serious medication like Atenolol which is used to control things like high blood pressure. These prescriptions are what saves a ton of people's lives, hence why Doctors play such a huge role in hospitals.
Psychiatrist:
Psychiatrists are the staff that ensure that citizens always have someone to assist them in their mental distress. Psychiatrists are the ones that give diagnosis for patients that need a mental diagnosis. Whether this means that a patient has depression or even Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a Psychiatrist is the hospital staff to diagnose you with that. Any kind of mental diagnosis you may need is a perfect reason to visit a psychiatrist to get the best help and to get any kind of medicine that may improve daily life for those with a proper diagnosis. Psychiatrists can diagnose people with a symptom/disorder, which then they can prescribe medication for this. They can prescribe medicines like Aripiprazole, which is an antipsychotic medication in which can be given for things like schizophrenia.

From childhood, Satoshi was a fun kid who would often find himself in trouble, with his parents and teachers. No one ever understood why he was always in trouble; however, it wouldn't be until high school that he discovered that he can't help but care for others. He tries his best to communicate but it never seemed to work. In the beginning of high school, he would constantly be in trouble, unable to express himself due to his own faults and communication skills. After two years of high school, he finally understood, his lack of friends and support was due to his own fault of communication. He saw a few specialists about his communication skills and through the last couple of years high school, he found himself to be a more genuine and caring person that people adored.

When Satoshi reached University, he originally found himself majoring in Forensic Science but he couldn't figure out what about it was unfulfilling to him. He tried everything, internships, apprenticeships, but nothing was as exciting as he thought it would be. He then turned to Forensic Psychiatry. From there, he took a couple internships here and there and he found himself enjoying it way more by a million miles. He was genuinely happy, his care for others combined with his passion for Forensics would influence how long he took to get his PHD. Satoshi stayed in school, he constantly studied every little aspect of the mind and how people thought. Doing so would make him a more genuine person, helping him find his place in the world.

Satoshi soon moved to Karakura after his brother, Eito Tomohiro. He found himself a job at the school's library only to find himself extremely unhappy with it. Howeverm, during his work as a librarian, he found himself still studying psychiatry and the ins and outs of the mind. He would spend hours on end every night working toward his goal. While at work, he found that he wasn't interested in anything he did, he was just there. But... something about talking with students if they needed help, he felt more fulfilled than he thought. He was happier, but just not enough. He finally gained the confidence to apply to Karakura EMS. He finally applied for the thing he most wanted for himself, to be a better man for him, his girlfriend and the rest of his family. He so desperately craved the approval from his parents which he would recieve upon applying.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

(Ensure this is appropriate to the position you have chosen)
Satoshi specializes in Forensic Psychiatry. Since Satoshi was in grade school, he had always had an interest in Forensics. Originally, Satoshi was more interested in the Forensic Science factor and had even planned to become a professor teaching such. Then, after Satoshi had years of working, going back to University, and some growing up, he realized that it wasn’t the path for him. Instead, he turned to Psychology. In his search for his new passion, he discovered Forensic Psychiatry, which he found to interest him the most. Forensics his previous passion mixed with the new medical passion he found was perfect. The aspect of mental disorders and helping people is why he wanted to become a Professor in the first place, but finding this opportunity was even more exciting and thrilling to him that he so craved.
What medical residencies did your character take after medical school?
Satoshi did a 2 year medical residency at Kyoto Kujo Hospital for Psychology, close to home.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
During Satoshi’s time during University, he had a few internships, sitting into consented sessions, going over what he knew and how to act on it, and coming up with solutions for peoples problems.
Has your character completed any additional schooling?
Satoshi does have an associates degree in Forensic Science.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique?

Saotshi Tomohiro is a tanned japanese man that stands at a solid 6’2 and 186lbs. He had dark blue hair that shimmered in the moonlight but would absorb light during day which would also have a distinct shine. His hair would have a slight part in the front of his face. While being an adult, Satoshi tends to be a bit quirky at times but mature around adults. His tone would come off as sharp but he had a very calming vibe to his voice.

What makes Satoshi unique is his genuine care for others. When he was a kid, he had a hard time showing that he was a caring person, he would act out and make life harder for his parents. After reaching high school, Satoshi found himself becoming more outward to meet new people and friends which in turn allowed him to become a kind and caring person. He can still show his old side of who he is, but when it comes to the workplace, he is completely mature and gentle. He has a genuine care for his family that is unmatched and even his girlfriend who balances him out to be the best person he can be.
How does your character act on and off duty?
Off duty, Satoshi can be a bit of a goof. He likes to have fun with his older brother, Eito, who he cares for deeply but is the only person he struggles to show that he does care. He makes jokes and loves to hang out with his nephews and nieces to be the best uncle he can, one in particular, Kazuto who he hold close to him to help shape him into a good man. While with other adults, Satoshi doesn’t show his goofy side as much unless he’s comfortable with them, he tends to be more respectful and mature. He keeps to himself more around adults to ensure people know his mature side.
“Off duty? Well, sure I do like to be a bit quirky as I say, however, I pride myself on acting my age. Well- at least as best as I can!”
On duty, Satoshi is a different person. He would be calm and gentle, his demeanor showing true care for those in need and he would take an interest in those around him. Whether this be his co-workers or his patients, he does his best to lower his voice, soften his voice and reach out to those patients who need it. He tries to make his patients feel comfortable, being rather casual but still professional for the setting. He cares about people’s comfortability and ensures that he always does his best to make people happier.
“On duty, I want my patients to feel like I’m not just there to get my quota and get paid. I want them to know that talking to me makes me just as intrigued as someone who is close to them. Patients in my care should feel like they’re wanted and not just another check mark.”
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
While previously Satoshi struggled with teamwork, he matured and now works better with others. He loves to collaborate on any kind of project and get other workers' opinions on what he should do. He trusts those who are qualified to help him out and finds that any kind of contribution on top of his own would be better rather than solely depending on himself for anything.
What plans does your character have for the future?
For the future, Satoshi plans to keep himself working for the hospital doing what his burning passion desires, which is Forensic Psychiatry. However, should he find himself feeling different, he won’t waste anyone's time and find something else he needs to do in order to be his best self. Satoshi is confident that he doesn’t have the urge to leave EMS, however things change and people change with it.
How is your character perceived by others? How does it contrast with their perception of themself?

Satoshi is found by others to be a more goofy person if they’re close to him. He doesn’t seen himself the same, he thinks he’s always mature for his age, but that’s just a delusion he has which doesn’t tend to be harmful. Others might think Satoshi is a caring individual though, he can do things like gestures or even put himself on the line for others. He loves assisting others because of the satisfaction he gets when it puts a smile on their face. Satoshi knows this but doesn’t exactly know why the smile makes him feel better but he also doesn’t question it.
