I have been on this server since 2016 and am a community team modeller
My whole aim for this store is to bring a roleplay environment in which people can be around as much as possible.

Why do you want to own a shop?:
Utilising my idea of a hair salon, I aim to bring a higher, more intense level of activity to the shop community. So far, I have noticed the trend of stores set in Karakura to be more focused and developed to the convenience aspect of life with stores dedicated to food from restaurants to custom items sold within toy stores. My idea for a hair salon is mainly fuelled by a desire to uphold a more active shopping fanbase in the shop-owning community as per my points in the following paragraphs.
If brought into fruition, HareCut will be mostly unreliant on restocks. This is due to its central aspect being the skin-customising service it provides rather than the selling of items. Since the dawn of SchoolRP, skin creation has become an integral component of the server’s identity, clearly evident within the vast array of tailoring communities sprouting from the combined efforts of those learning from and adding to its techniques. Skin design is one of this server’s most prized characteristics in the OOC scene but what if it were possible to take this aforementioned feature to an in-character level?
An additional factor for this store's importance to the server would be socialisation as the quick in-and-out nature alongside the lack of a need for restocks of the store means that the store will be able to stay open for longer lengths. This, therefore, means that customers will be able to stay at the store for increased periods of time and communicate with others, an element further solidified by the inclusion of the lounge area; an area in which socialisation is highly encouraged by.
When it comes to this shop, my only intention isn’t to benefit monetarily but rather to bring more diversity to shops in Karakura alongside presenting roleplayers with a new scene to benefit materialistically, with improved hairstyles, but to also gain from culturally with the introduction of another OOC-IC system for customers to appreciate.

What do you plan to do with the shop?:
The main base of this is built off the foundation of tailoring in its quickest and simplest form, I plan to have at least 4 booths in which players are able to sit down in and join the VCs on over the discord, the tailor will be screen sharing their PMC/nova/etc editor for the customer to see and witness their hair in creation, they can make live edits to the hair at will and explain in detail how they wish for their final product to end up.
Alongside our tailoring services, I do plan to have a sideline of hair accessories and the aforementioned lounge.
The lounge will be equipped with tables and couches to relax on, a TV and magazines set up on the tables and other sources of entertainment. We will host weekly events in the lounge area for people to gather at, offering prizes and even services to those who win, events that will be held will include things such as; Bingo nights, charades, support gatherings and cake days.

The layout of the Store + Brief Overview:
Upon entrance, customers will face a front reception. Walking up to the receptionists, the customers will be directed to the lounge area, an area of the store dedicated to LiveRP, equipped with two large sofas and a coffee table with several books. This lounge area gives customers an opportunity to chat with others waiting on service or for their friend’s haircut to be finished. Once a seat is free and the hairstylists are able to take in a request, customers are able to take a seat in one of 3 salon chairs. The customer is then informed to join one of the VCs in the discord server in which the hairstylist will share their screen, enabling the customer to control and customise their hairstyle to their liking. At the far end of the store, a break room specifically for staff is found. Here, staff are able to relax if they’re waiting on the arrival of customers. Inside the breakroom to the right, the manager/owner room is found. Just like the breakroom, this room is off-limits to customers. Here, admin tasks are held such as meetings, the checking of employee schedules, where interviews take place ICly and where new employees are given instructions on their tasks.

Division of Labour:
Owner -
The owner is responsible for keeping things in order and ordering stock, they will make sure the payment is gone through and will ensure that what is needed in the store is available
Manager -
The manager ensures that everything is in order and is available when needed, they manage stock ordering, most questions and low-level enquiries.
Receptionists -
They will sell most the stock that is in place, greet customers and will handle payments to help with the store, they are not required too much to attend unless the store is quite busy one day.
Stylists -
These are the most important essentials workers as they are 60% of what the store is about, they are specially trained in ranks to cut hair when available for the people.

How will your shop be unique?:
Harecut prides itself off of three main factors; its affordability, its non-oppressive roleplay environment and its quick and easy service.
The service we will offer will enable new roleplayers who struggle with saving enough money to get an SRP-Styled skin an affordable way to look their best on the server. As all we will skin is the hair, this means that the service will cost drastically less than our full-outfit counterparts. For example, one regularly shaded hairstyle will cost ¥5-6k. Moreover, to fully allow new players to express themselves whilst also saving as much as possible, we will also have an option for hair reshades, in a process that we refer to as “dyeing” ICly, for ¥3k. We also aspire to increase our skill arsenal, later on, learning to shade more outrageously stylistic hairstyles, such as fades or colour gradients, for a slightly larger sum of money.
As previously mentioned, Haircut will only exclusively provide hair skins in order to further the idea of a hair salon ICly. This simple fact, therefore, means that the skin making process will take a significantly shorter time span to complete as we wouldn’t need to design other features required in a skin i.e. skin base and clothes. Due to this, hair stylists will aim to fulfil a skin request in under 5 minutes. Additionally, customers are able to get into booths alongside their hairstylist and give live feedback within the specialised Haircut discord server, allowing the hairstylist and customer to reach a worthwhile skin through constant communication.
Alongside the quick and cheap nature of the store, we hope to bring a safe and welcoming environment to newcomers through the friendly staff. This will be evident through the aforementioned lounge area, a section of the hair salon in which customers can wait for service, wait for their friend to have their haircut finished, or even just to stay and chat with others.
