What's your suggestion?:
I think that the server should shut down for like a solid week, and give the staff team time to work on it and fix all these bugs. Making it easier for the community to enjoy playing the server they love, and it would give some people who do play a little much a break from the SRP life. I just think that something as short as a week would fix the server and give them time to fix it, and make it fun for everyone to enjoy instead of worrying about these bugs.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
It would help the community with so many things, such as giving members the enjoyment of being able to play freely and not worry about the bugs, and everyone being able to have some time to themselves none the less worry about what to do on SRP.

+1 I really do agree to this suggestion, I think it is pretty needed with how much server breaks/bugs that are happening at the moment and it gives less stress for developers to actually go through what is working and what is not.

Bugs get fixed over time, if the server were to close down for a week then people will expect developers/staff to be doing something every day of that week & people fail to remember that they also have lives outside of just focusing on SRP. Some of them go to work, handle personal reasons, want to simply relax or school, especially with midterms and stuff around. Bugs are being looked into and fixed, I assure you they’re doing their very best and as quick as they can.

Here's a little input from a previous developer from a different place. who has worked on things like this. I would like to first mention that this would require the developers to be on the server for that week, trying to fix everything in place, we must remember that these people have their own lives and things to deal with too. Next, about the bug fixing. Some of the bugs seen on the server are things that take time and effort to fix, I assume some plugins have outdated code from past developers and need working on. Think of coding as something personal to each individual, when you are put to work on somebody else's code it increases the difficulty of rewriting it and working with it. Errors in game are something that will never fully be fixed, there will always be something that pops up as Minecraft and plugins are not perfect. When adding new updates and new plugins, they can clash causing some to falter and need fixing, when updating versions, it can be tough to get each plugin working.

Honestly, all it requires is a little patience, there will be bugs and errors in game, it's not perfect. It will occur but it is not something that can just take a week and magically be fixed. Even if it could, there would then stand the chance of more bugs appearing after fixing certain ones. It's the domino effect, you fix one and another breaks. Instead, let's put the effort in to report the bugs and just be a little more encouraging towards the people working on the server and building it up for us all to play.

Just my input and insight to it all :)

They have a life. A real, life. Unless they work on this 24/7 a week wont change shit. Its not worth it

There are so many bugs that it annoys me. I haven't logged in for a few days. If the staff has fixed most of the bugs, please tell me.

Thank you for your suggestion!

- We’re still working on fixing bugs in the background and always focus on the most critical first for obvious reasons.
- This suggestion has very backwards logic; unfortunately we all have lives outside of the server, and “shutting down the server” for a week (or any amount of time) is pointless if the majority of the time it’s shut down we aren’t able to work on fixing the bugs you’re talking about. Sadly, we don’t have a gigantic team working around the clock, but our developers are assigned bugs to fix and will do so within a reasonable time scale, expecting anything more than that is unrealistic, so we of course won’t do this, but we do ask for your patience and to continue to report any bugs to staff so we can get them worked on and push fixes
