Describe your activity on the server:
I would say my activity is exceptional! I'm online almost every day when I am able and when my wifi allows it, and I can usually get it to cooperate. I've been playing SRP for three years now and don't see myself quitting anytime soon. Below is a table of my current daily availability. While this is all subject to change and will change from September to November, I should still be available almost every day and willing to log on for things such as meetings and general activity outside of faction events.

Are you aware that inactivity can result in removal from the council?:
Absolutely. I don't see myself being inactive for long periods, and any inactivity will be properly logged.
TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
The student council is two groups of students separated by age: High School and College. They both share the same responsibilities, which are hosting school events and making sure that school is both a fun and safe place to be, not to mention welcoming. They can hand out detention slips similar to school faculty and are sometimes seen as the voices of the student body.
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
As much as I adore being both a paramedic and a cheerleader, things do sometimes tend to get repetitive, and I crave something new. I fully believe that the council is the only fit faction for my character, Mami, and I've been considering applying for quite some time now. Now that spots are finally open... I figure applying won't hurt, and while I do have a friend or two in the faction, my interest lies in meeting new people and further developing a character I would love to play more!
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
100%! I fully understand, and I'm ready to do so.
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:
Dean: Member of the SLT that oversees both the college council and high school council. The current dean who leads the student council is Hashirama Takagi, gncme.
President: The student council president. Similar to a sports captain, they handle things hands-on within their respective council(s) and bring things they cannot deal with to the dean.
Vice-President: The SCP's right-hand man! They work with the president and dean to ensure everything runs smoothly, and stand in when the president is unavailable. A second president, if you will.
Council: Normal members of the student council, whether that be high school or college.
Training Committee: Members of the student council (currently the [P] and [VP]) who train new members.
Faculty: School faculty. They're able to check security cameras and take care of things that may be, for some reason, out of the council's hands.
SLT: The Senior Leadership Team! This includes the Principal, Deputy Principal, Vice Principal(s), Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, and Dean(s). Consider them the big dogs... and a great way to SCARE your fellow scholars.

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?
Asogi twiddles her thumbs together. Something rustles in her bag as she runs a hand roughly through her brown hair. "This is a great question, hahahhh... euuurm. I'd probably talk to them as best as I'm able...? Maybe even pull them to the side if they're willing. If they don't comply, I'd warn them they may receive a detention slip! Assuming they still don't.. um, comply, I'd follow through and hand them a detention slip... after escorting them out." A short, unsure nod. She's not (yet) trained... cut her some slack!
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?
"Oh... a mask. Uhm, I would radio to let people know that they ran away from me and provide a description of the mask and what they're wearing. Obviously, I'd try my best to follow them, but I'm not that fast..." Asōgi briefly pauses. "Anyways! I would also try to have a caretaker follow them on CCTV to track them down. If we do end up... uhm, finding them... I'd hand them a detention slip and explain why! I feel like that's... the best course of action?" Someone needs to hit the TRACK and learn to stop stuttering as much. @TrainingCommittee, help her.
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?
Her eyebrows shoot up about half an inch. "A teacher? I would work with them... and have someone get rid of whatever disturbing artwork the student created. When the student is pulled aside, I'm sure we'd both move to ask about the motivations behind the student's... auum, actions. They would be warned to stop. If they don't end up listening to either of us... SLT may be contacted, and they would absolutely... end up in detention." A suitable answer... potentially! Although she wasn't sure, she must have some part of this made-up scenario correct.
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?
Something else she found able to respond to in slight confidence. "I would allow them to protest as long as they promise to do it both, auuhmm... peacefully and respectfully. I think that it's..... okay... as long as they aren't disrupting ongoing classes and preventing other individuals from learning. People would be there to supervise, and I would... work with them to fully understand what they're protesting and what they plan on doing... eurm, during said protest." Everyone has the right to do so, as long as no harm is done and no foul play is involved, no?
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?
"Ooooh..." Doing something wrong and being confronted? This might just be some nightmare they've pushed her into thinking about. "I wouldn't.. panic, as concerning as that sounds... aaaahah. I would ask them what they believe I did wrong... and then fact-check with my higher-ups. If I did do something wrong... and faculty was right, I would take note of my mistake and do better next time..." Lightly inhaling, Asōgi looks away, not that she was making proper eye contact in the first place.
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):
One in A Krillion
Event Overview: People say that there are plenty of fish in the sea, and the student council believes that counts for FRIENDSHIP too. Team up with someone new and tackle countless games set up to come out on top. For each obstacle your duo wins, you earn points for redeemable prizes.
The prizes can be swapped for reward tokens to make things more edged on rivalry, but that's up for debate and where I would ask the rest of the council for their opinions. Those who attend the event are meant to be paired up with people they haven't met before — a good way to socialize and find new people that you may not usually talk to! There can be an obstacle course on the track field, paired with smaller games around the area meant to be nice team-building exercises. I also think some sort of organized scavenger hunt could be fun.. that could result in a reward token for each person in a duo. I believe this would be a good way to get people out of their comfort zones, interacting with people, and having light-hearted, competitive fun.
Council members would, of course, be the ones manning every game. This event would ideally run for about two hours—maybe the entire school day, and have people leaving with new bonds they wouldn't otherwise create. People would be tasked with initially finding someone without an established duo or partner. If there's a council member not assigned to any station, they can be open to pairing up if there isn't a person available for a student to group up with . . or some stations can be able to be done solo, but again, most will require two people to reach the end! This event truly just requires cooperation on all sides, but I think it can absolutely work.
Personal Information
(in character)
Name:
"Oh. My name, riiight... ahah..." Asōgi's eyes dart around the room before sheepishly landing on something just behind the individual conducting her 'interview'. "Asōgi, Mami." A name that holds meaning and, for this brunette, immense external pressure. Her tone of voice comes off as nervous - as does her body language.
Gender:
"I... um. I identify as female and use she/her." The fawn promptly bobs her head. If she's as straight to the point as possible, maybe this'll all end sooner.
Age:
"I'm seventeen, so that puts me in eleventh grade... um-" A short pause. "You're writing this down, right...? Please don't show anybody you don't have to." She doesn't need random people knowing who she is. She's not ready for that yet.
Phone number:
Asōgi shoves her hand into her bag. Tensing, she'd rummage around gently and pull out her phone. A sheepish smile was then shot the interviewers way. "Sorry... I got a new phone number, uhm." Mami taps around before looking back up. "(030)-987-3276. Again, please don't tell anybody who doesn't... have to know. I'd rather my phone number not.... be out there."
How would you describe your personality?:
A long beat of silence. How would Mami describe her own personality? A great question she's unsure how to answer properly, let alone effectively. The purple-clothed girl eyes her fidgeting hands. "I'm not sure. I know that people... describe me as shy. Introverted, auuuum- for sure." Maybe she should take one of those personality tests. "I'm... quiet, but that's something I'm working on. I know that this next quality isn't great for joining the council- but that's also... uhm, part of why I'm even bothering to join. I'd say that I'm conflict-avoidant."
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):

What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
Finally, a question Mami's actually prepared for! "I doubt you'll remember this, but Mr. Brown once introduced prefects as a role just to test the waters a few... um, years back. I was part of the first and only wave to ever hold that role - as well as the last, seeing as everybody quit... way before I did." Flashback Thursday! Who remembers PREFECTS? "Prefects were basically... councillors with a little less work to do. We couldn't hand out detentions or anything like that, but we'd... report rule breakers and wait for a councillor or faculty member to come... and help. It was weird, but... I guess I can say that I have experience?"
Why do you want this position?:
She quickly looks up from checking /something/ inside her purse. If one were to ask, she'd avoid the question and remain silent. "I want to help make sure that people are... uhm, staying safe, I guess." Okaaay... elaborate, Miss Mysterious? "My sister's a detective. My parents own a detective agency, and this is the most that I can do to help the people around me... considering my age. I don't have many friends, so I think I'd also benefit from the, auuuhmmm.. you know- community?" - "Eurm- sorry." - "I'm trying to step outside my comfort zone. I think that I've also got a family member on the current council... so maybe he can help me find my place?" She wants a friend. How touching.
What interests you the most about student council?:
A short pause, followed by a short, one-sentence response... initially. "They help people." About a minute passes before she continues. "I mean, they help make sure people feel included and safe. As someone who's bullied... more often than not, I'd like to finally be the one who helps other people. I don't enjoy violence, and I hate seeing people upset, so... you know."
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
"As much as I'm... uhm, conflict-avoidant, I hate seeing people fight, which means I'll try my best to be... quick to stop any altercations I see. Any feedback given will be taken into careful consideration, and I enjoy... hearing other people's voices." Someone who's constantly spoken for is finally sick of not having verbal thoughts of her own. "I'm a peer mediator when I actually... push my own feelings aside. I try not to be as nervous as I seem, but it's hard." Of course it is. "But I have people to help me learn. I... promise."
