APPLICATION INFORMATION
What position are you applying for?:
I am currently applying for the position of Judge
What is your motivation for applying?:
It has been a while since I began working in factions to deepen my roleplay experience and open more opportunities for myself. Until recently I have been attending more and more trial viewing, getting the opportunity to see just a piece of what this lovely faction does on the server. Watching those trials really gave me a new view on srp just showing how much deeper I can develop my character. The government faction has given many opportunities and is very interactive with the community to help with I.D’s, legal questions, marriage getting a marriage noticed by the government and to helping characters. The government faction has really become one that I love and learned that I would love to be a part of. I want to deepen my roleplay knowledge and to give myself an opportunity I can to do that such as applying for a new faction.
With everything said above I feel my biggest motivation for wanting to join the government faction is the chance to meet new people and try something new. It's a new opportunity and you never know one door can open many more for the future and I hope this is that one door for me. I have met so many people in the government faction and have grown to know they are all amazing people, current and past members. I always see people from the faction together just hanging about even at the town hall and off duty, the faction seems like it is a family and that is something I want to be a part of. I want to be a part of something that is going to grow over time and feel like a little family even if it is a game.
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I have put time aside for myself to really sit and read through the Laws that the city has and all of the rights each and every person has. I have made sure to read through all of the articles given to players to make sure I have familiarized myself with each one.
Are there any goals for you or your character with this role?:
For me I really hope this opportunity is something I can utilize to expand my knowledge on SRP and earn myself some more rp experience. Growing up the news and crime have always been something I have been interested in and love to keep up with and I still do to this day. Being able to do something I love on Srp is something I have always hoped I would one day be able to seize this kind of opportunity and achieve it.
For my character I hope this opportunity helps her expand as a person and just using it to be out there more, She has recently become my newest character so I wish to be able to do something to really help develop her as a person as well as to get her out there into the rp scene.
In your own words, describe what the position you’re applying for does within the government:
To me I see a judge is someone who is able to take in all the facts and evidence presented to them in a courtroom and use everything given to them during the evidence stage, and opening statements as well as closing statements and use it all the come do a decision in the deliberation room with fellow judges in the courtroom to get a final verdict on the case that is fair and judicial. When there are no active courtroom cases, Judges sit up at the front desk to assist anyone with legal questions, assisting citizens with needing an I.D. When not up front, typically they are in their office dealing with any warrants and restraining orders. They are always ready to help with questions or anything else that is needed of them.
The biggest thing for me is a judge is someone who can really focus on things happening around them like in the courtroom and that they are always fair and truthful with their words and actions.
- Handing Out IDs - Issue citizens IDs is one of the many jobs a judge is asked to do, they are available if anyone new in town needs to get their identification simply with their full legal name, age and their fingerprint to apply into the system.
- Restraining Orders - Restraining orders is one of the more serious jobs of a judge as it is a very serious topic to most, a judge will sit with the citizen requisition a restraining order and proceed to ask for any information they can, what is going on, have you tried to stay away and they continue to pursue so on and so forth.
- Marriage officiants - Marriage officiants is something a lot of citizens enjoy as it is a way they can have their marriage recognized by the government, both parties of the marriage will sit with the judge and provide their legal names and a document will be signed by the judge officializing the marriage.
- Adoption Procedures - Plenty of family’s want to get their adoptions legalized. A judge will sit and go over all the necessary information needed such as names and ages of the parent wishing to adopt and the child. A judge will also look into if the parent wishing to do the adoption has any felonies.
- Case Reviews - When a judge does a case review they will look into the case taking in all the information provided to them from the KPDs perspective as well as the prisoners point of view. They take all of the information and after examining it closer to come to the decision if the case is worth taking to court or if the prisoner is evidently guilty.

Are you aware that any display of OOC bias toward anyone on the job will result in punishment?:
Yes, I understand that being biased towards any and all members of SRP can result in punishment on my part.
Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes, I have taken the time to thoroughly read all government rules and to hold myself to follow the rules no matter the situation.
