HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
I think it would benefit the community and srp in general it would make srp more realistic and who in kpd wouldn't want a police dog or known as a K9
i think it would make things more interesting in srp. police dogs are awsome crime-fighting companions, with their incredible sense of smell, agility, and loyalty. they can track down suspects, detect drugs and explosives, and even apprehend criminals. their presence in SRP would enhance law enforcement efforts, ensuring safer streets and quicker response times. plus, who can resist those adorable wagging tails?

This did exist in the early stages of the KPD around 2019-2020 but it just never worked out to have K9's, as mentioned others have suggested it but has been denied since this. It is just something that is frequent enough to have to use dogs and not everyone that has a dog role wants to be a KPD K9.

Realistically, a K9 unit's main job is to help during investigations & search for individuals by their scent/check if there are any illegal substances in a certain container. When translated to SchoolRP terms, it would be close to impossible to do this, given the meta-gaming issues that would arise.

While this idea does seem cool, logistically it doesn't work so much in the SRP setting. This has also been suggested before in the past and was denied.

Just because something has been denied, doesn't mean that it's a bad suggestion. People might bring something new to the conversation or the needs is the community might change over time, which may introduce the need for something that has previously been denied.
