Okinasa Crisis
With a public hygiene rating of 1, with trash being placed outside and an odd green stench that surrounds the exterior of the store. After learning about this, I decided to take things into my own hands and gathered numerous… Samples of the debris and trash that surrounded the area.
The Exterior:

As we can see here from my lovely co-worker Solaire, we can see numerous trash bags resting outside of the store, though Miss Solaire didn’t close. I do not recommend getting close without being fully covered.
Sample One:
Toxic waste. Microplastics, improper disposal of waste
The first sample taken and displayed below is the first example of the biohazard that Okinasa has. Not only do they improperly dispose of their day-to-day waste, but upon closer inspection we have found microplastics in one of the items collected. Microplastics may carry extremely harmful chemicals! Which is a major concern for NOT ONLY human health, but WORLDWIDE HEALTH! It may be just improper waste disposal, but next thing you know.. A poor turtle is suffocating on a straw.

Sample Two:
Empty jelly packets: littering
One of the items that had been picked up was an empty jelly packet from a vending machine. Though it may seem small, this simple littering could be seen as food by animals such as birds that could potentially choke on the plastic or fail to digest it properly. Leaving animals to suffer the consequences of people’s actions of littering.

Sample Three:
Rats: attracted for the reasons above
With rats being attracted to the filth that has been clouding the surrounding area of Okinasa. It has become a potential health risk for those that wish to shop there. Rats carrying diseases and putting both animals and people at risk.

Interview:
Citizen 1:
Ezio: What do you have to say about the hygiene of this store?
A1: I don't notice anything wrong. But I wish it can sell more lemons.
Ezio: I see, is there anything about the store you think could be more hygienic?
A1: A giant hose with boiling water, and mopping the floor, and maybe burning some hard to reach areas. Maybe less floors because it's harder to maintain, aaand lemon scented cleaning supplies. OH and some freezers for the raw food
Citizen 2:
Ezio: What do you have to say about the hygiene of this store?
A2: Seemed alright. Wasn't dirty, but I know if I cleaned it then it would've been better. Hahah. Because- Because all I do at my job is clean. Because- Be-Because because. . Ahah.
Ezio: I see, is there anything about the store you think could be more hygienic?
A2: Umm... Actually yeah, selling food unprotected by displays means customers can touch the food examples. Then touch other products when browsing. This is greatly impactful for hygiene!
Citizen 3:
Ezio: What do you have to say about the hygiene of this store?
A3: Uhh. . It seems fine. They do have food on display, but I always thought it was one of those fake resin ones.
Ezio: Right, do you think there is anything that could make the store more hygienic?
A3: Errmm.. Maybe they should not be selling furniture and food and items and also aquariums all in the same place!
Summary:
Speaking with a few people who had found themselves shopping in Okinasa. Had a common complaint! Mostly about how they had raw food on display! Which is an extreme health code violation. Raw meats should be packaged in an enclosed freezer section of the store for proper holding! Not, on display. For people to touch. I’m looking at you Charlotte.
