Karakura Economics

Karakura has a strange economic system, especially when it comes to necessities and luxuries. The ups and downs with certain things are definitely different from bigger countries and cities.

Vehicles:
Vehicles have always been in high demand in Karakura, despite numerous cars already being owned and on the street, people still seem to never get enough. With a recent shortage of car stock from the mainland, the supply in Karakura has dropped significantly.

Food:
Something that everybody in Karakura seems to enjoy. The culture variations from around the world that come to Karakura is amazing, leaving the supply of food endless with its demand.

Accessories:
With the endless amount of designs people in Karakura may want, from sunglasses to earrings to even fish hats? Due to peoples very odd requests in accessories, the demand at the moment

Electronics:
Electronics are very hard to come across unless it is on auction house, even then it will most likely only be cheap flip phones or other electronics for extreme prices. The demand for electronics has ramped up recently but the supply has been declining.

Medical supplies:
The Medical Supply has been extremely high and well taken care of throughout the years of Karakura’s “Happy Pills Pharmacy”.

Alcoholic Beverages:
Alcohol has slowly become an illegal business more than a legal purchase. It is very easy to come across people selling alcohol with high prices. The stores that do sell them legally! Often have a low supply of alcohol, except for Daisuke and La Casa!

Toys:
With the mass amount of children in Karakura have a very high desire for toys and plushies from their parents for security. Some adults as well which is… Very, concerning.

Clothing:
Fashion in Karakura is a BIG statement for people’s culture and jobs. The demand for clothing is just as high as it’s supply.

Public Opinion

After going around and asking a few people about their opinion on the economic state of Karakura. I’ve realized that not a lot of people even know what the word means, let alone know the current state of it within Karakura.
