In most cases, it takes Kazuo a while to trust someone—a warm-up phase, one could say. Over time, the two have become familiar with each other, and a strong sense of loyalty has formed. All DeLuca brothers seem to share a similar sense of sanity and morals.
Yamato feeds Kazuo's sweet tooth and reminds him to commit to human needs like eating and sleeping. They've also shared quite the time, totally not being criminals.

Still remember Oda heading to the News Station when she was a reporter and got shoved into the bathroom by Mi Akihito and was stuck in there with Kaz swirling some jock. . . such an odd experience for her. Nonetheless Kaz will always be one of my favorite silly bosses I worked alongside with. Love all the artwork of him and the now completed bio!!
