I would describe my activity within SRP as fairly active. I work from home, so my schedule generally allows me a good amount of flexibility and rarely has activities that significantly impact my availability. Weekends, particularly Sundays, tend to be my busiest days, although i can still usually find time to get on.
If i were to rate my activity from 1 to 10, i would give myself a 7. While there have been periods where i was less active due to having less motivation to play, my activity has recently increased significantly. For the past few weeks, i have been getting on for at least an hour a day, and i expect to maintain that level of activity.
I also tend to be more active when i have something meaningful to work toward, which is one of the reasons i am specifically interested in joining Government. Having a faction that encourages consistent roleplay and gives me opportunities to interact with others would give me even more reason to stay active and involved within SRP.

What is your motivation for applying?:
Being part of SRP for the past few years has given me an immense number of different roleplay experiences, and throughout that time, the Town section of factions has always been something that caught my attention, particularly Government. I have seen friends and other players share their experiences within the faction, and hearing about the roleplay they were able to participate in only made me more interested in experiencing it for myself.
I am especially interested in the Lawyer position because it would allow me to explore a different side of roleplay that i have not had much opportunity to experience before. I enjoy roleplay that requires detail, communication, and interaction between multiple characters, and i believe the legal environment would provide many opportunities for that. From meeting with clients to participating in trials and handling different cases, i would be able to step outside of my usual comfort zone while developing my roleplay further.
Another important motivation for me is the community that comes with being part of a faction. I enjoy DetailRP and more serious forms of roleplay, and u would love the opportunity to meet others who share that interest and create meaningful roleplay with them. I am not only applying because i want to experience what Government has to offer, but because i want to contribute to that environment and become someone others can enjoy roleplaying with.
Overall, i see Government as an opportunity to challenge myself, expand my roleplay experience, and become involved in a community that i have been interested in for a long time. The Lawyer position in particular is something i genuinely want to explore, and i would be excited to put the time and effort into making that experience worthwhile for both myself and the people i roleplay with.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
My main goal in joining the Government Faction is to become more active within SRP while having a role that allows me to contribute to other people's roleplay. I enjoy being someone others can rely on, whether that is through helping them ICly with legal matters or simply being someone they can approach when they need assistance.
I also want to use my time within Government to improve my own roleplay. In particular, i would like to practice DetailRP more consistently and become more comfortable with serious roleplay. I want to learn how to create scenarios that feel natural rather than forced, while also being able to keep roleplay flowing smoothly with the people involved.
Ultimately, i would like to leave the faction having not only gained more experience myself, but also having contributed to the roleplay and community around me. I want my time in Government to be something that benefits both my own development and the people i have the opportunity to roleplay with.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
The Government Faction is responsible for maintaining and supporting the legal and administrative side of Karakura. Although each position has different responsibilities, they work together to ensure that citizens have access to legal assistance, proper documentation, and a fair system for resolving disputes.

Governors handle many of the Government's public-facing and administrative responsibilities. They are responsible for issuing identification cards, officiating marriages that meet the requirements, attending trials, and approving adoption paperwork. They also communicate with the public through surveys to understand what could be improved within Karakura. In addition, Governors may conduct planned or random inspections of shops to ensure they are operating properly.
[Lawyer]
Lawyers primarily represent and assist citizens with legal matters. Their most important responsibility is representing clients in court during lawsuits and other cases, while making sure their clients understand the legal process and have someone advocating for their interests. Lawyers also attend Attorney Calls, meet with clients to discuss their cases, and can file restraining orders when sufficient evidence is provided.
Outside of courtroom work, Lawyers also handle front desk duties and assist citizens who are seeking legal guidance. Through working with different clients and cases, Lawyers can establish their own client lists and develop professional relationships within the community.

Judges are responsible for handling matters that require an impartial legal authority. They attend trials and review cases to help reach a fair and appropriate verdict. Judges can also issue warrants and file restraining orders when the required evidence is provided. In addition, they assist with marriages and adoptions by reviewing and approving the necessary paperwork. Judges may also work the front desk, allowing them to assist citizens with general Government matters.

The Deputy Mayor assists the Mayor with their responsibilities and can take over their duties when the Mayor is unavailable. They may also handle some of the Mayor's work when necessary and act as a representative or spokesperson for the Government. If the Mayor steps down, the Deputy Mayor becomes the acting Mayor until a new election takes place.
