- Lernaean Herrington
Lernaean Herrington is the scion of billionaire industrialist and notable scientist Lucius Herrington and model turned neurosurgeon Genevieve London. He is Lernaean Herrington, genius prodigy & priest like philosopher. Blessed with god-like even omniscience-level genius at the cost of little-to-no ability to socialise properly, and the lack of ability to form healthy long-term relationships. Lernaean has issues with unpragmatic obsessions, such as the need to keep everything in his life neat and flawless, social ineptitude, unable to know when exactly to stop, in regards to social situations, and a flawed almost narcissistic view of most people, seeing people of lower intelligence as those who need to be helped. . . cradled by his good fortune.
The now 25-year old is the heir to two of the worlds brightest, but also the Japanese Operations of his families business dealings, a small and tiny slice of a much more sinister pie.
HISTORY
Early Childhood
Sometime in his fathers, Lucius' early teen years, he had a trip to London, when he spotted a girl - Lernaean's mother. Having thought she was beautiful, but making no real interaction with the girl, he simply moved on with his life until again, when Lucius was in his early adulthood (having already had one offspring), discovering Genevieve once more, in which they would later marry, foster three children, Lernaean being the second of whom they created.
Lernaean was born to wealthy Multipotentialite Lord. Lucius Herrington and his then wife former model turned Neurosurgeon Genevieve London, who themselves were members of the prestigious Herrington Family of Birmingham City.
Lernaean was raised very differently from those of you, or me. Lucius was a scientist - he knew Lernaean had impressive genes, and that at a young age he showed so much more potential then that of his other children, as well as his families offspring's - seeing this, Lucius took advantage of Lernaean's impressive genes, believing him to be a perfect heir. The child was born and given the name Lernaean, after Lucius' favourite fictional species
During his youth, Lernaean was trained to be a prodigy, coupled by his innate talent for science and his lineage, Lernaean became most of what his Father had wanted, even if there was a bit of a catch to it all. . .
Parental Divorce
Lucius by himself, wasn't a very humane man, throw that in with four children, a competent wife and the life experiences that being born a Herrington comes with, obviously it was a recipe made for trouble. His parents had always been rather fond of each other, Genevieve has always humanised Lucius and Lucius had always given closure to Genevieve's fixations , although often the two did not get along, this situation further complicated when the topic of Lernaean's education was brought to topic.
It is a custom that, one a Herrington baby turns one, that they are given off to the Soroistic Church, in which acts as a boarding school for the young minds of tomorrow. Usually they stay for the next four years, until their fifth birthday when they, equipped with advanced reading skills, religious genius and perhaps a demented soul. What a shame that he ended up staying until he was 9. . . Being the youngest ever to obtain the title of Soroistic Priest
Genevieve, insisted and insisted, eventually leading to Genevieve divorcing Lucius, as he was set in the way of old, in his families view of what was right and wrong. Genevieve powerless to the bureaucracy of the troubled and quick-to-corrupt (if not already) judicial system.
His sojourn at Institut Le Victoire
Once he had gained the title of Soroistic Priest, he would begin to attend yet another private school, this time the world renowned private boarding school in Switzerland, Institut Le Victorie, taking courses that suited him, however never really grasping real meaning in it, having found it all a bit too easy. . .
This boarding school, was the emblem of privilege, wealth and what could only be seen as the polar opposite of egalitarianism, the place was an elitists dream, although Lernaean was rather bored, he did very much enjoy his time there, he was surrounded by new wealth, old blood and literal royalty, sharing a bedroom with a prince from a oil rich middle eastern country, Lernaean fondly admiring how quick his roommate picked up French as a language.
Lernaean felt at home at this place, it was a place where his family didn't haunt him, no longer were they some upper-class cannibalistic people who everybody both were afraid of, and despised at the same time, hell - one of his fellow classmates was the son of a famous celebrity who came from nothing, his roommate a prince apart of a millennium long regime.
Although, he felt more accepted in this place of closed doors, his reality was much different then of joy. Lernaean suffers from inability to socialise, he just . . . doesn't get people and to be frank, he doesn't really know if he'd actually be better off being able to communicate with people properly. Lernaean was often bullied, harassed and tormented by some of his classmates, with one rather sinister incident, in which a group of boys, led by the son of a mafia don would light a fire on what they assumed was Lernaean's bed. . . but was actually his roommate .. . the prince from before. . . All boys except for the Prince being kicked out that very same morning. . . Just in time for the 2017 school year. . .
THE YEAR OF 2017
Herrington Holdings imminent conquer of Karakura.
Lernaean, having been expelled, leading up to his extended families corporations Japanese expansion was made to help join the cause as punishment by his Father for embarrassing the family name. Going as far to force that Lernaean attend a public school, alongside his families other offspring's, who were being forced for more political reasons to attend the deprived pit that is Karakura High, often choosing to stay home and be alone, something he very much liked. Meanwhile his older half brother, Dylan Herrington was busy being the centre of attention.
The then 15-year-old Lernaean Herrington, would find the jump to Karakura very difficult. Karakura was very different to what he had experienced. Karakura after all, being a dark and foreboding city rife with crime, grime and corruption, but what was worst was the negativity surrounding his bloodline, people of Karakura, till this day are incredibly negative and rude towards him based solely on his last name alone, He was, and often still is bullied, tormented and harassed simply for who he is. Just because of what his family may or may not potentially be. BUT hey - maybe not everybody is like that? At least. . . his personal maiden isn't...
Personality
Lernaean is an intellectual and rather reserved 21-year-old young adult. Lernaean values intelligence, pride, diplomacy and family above all else, Lernaean despite not being a peoples person is very diplomatic, striving for peace before violence in every confrontation - Lernaean was gifted with god-like intelligence, with just as big of a flaw . . . Lacking int****rsonal & interpersonal intelligence. Lernaean values at socialising nor does he really care all that much for it anymore. Lernaeans path to adulthood strikely on the tipping line of morally good, and morally bad . . . As Karakura has begun to destroy Lernaeans good heart . . . and throw him back out, just as damaged as the rest of Karakura. . .
He is the son of a well-known scientist, business man and KAGE Founder as well as having a intelligent neurosurgeon for a mother, even if he wasn’t born with spectacular genes, he would’ve made up for it by the amount of books and other studies he has spent his time. As a kid Lernaean spent more time studying under his fathers supervision then with any actual children. He has accelerated comprehension, cognitive processing and is metacognitive; making him a near calculator when it comes to knowledge. Lernaean (being the most intelligent person in any given room) often goes around solving fellow classmates problems or helping them with queries. If socialising it often is that. He has an IQ of 190 and an eidetic memory.
But that isn't to say Lernaean is a Mary Sue. As, as much as he is intelligent, he is equally, if not worsened by his inability to socialise properly. Lernaean is disliked by most individuals due to his odd and irregular behaviour. Lernaeus' concern with routine produces frequent tension, such as his insistence on following an EXACT diet to the 1000th degree. When he was a teenager, his friends, whom he lived with in the Bobcat Football Tower Floor offered him several options regarding what food was stored in the Main Kitchen, as Lernaean himself had filled up almost all of the fridge with what you'd call "Actual food." and not simply snacks, junk food and takeaway from the night before, that the boys had become accustomed to, but Lernaean had always flatly declined them because they weren't part of his routine. His personal maid Izanami and his father Lucius are the only individuals who accept this flaw.
Lernaean has strange personality quirks, odd characteristic idiosyncrasies, and severe narcissism. He doesn't understand why humans are unreasonable and tries to be logical himself. (Even though, in many aspects, he is substantially more irrational than the majority of people.)
Publically, Lernaean is seen as just another Herrington, if not a little more out of it and a lot less egocentric.. However being rather renowned for being . . . well at the very best. . . "odd...." However inside Lernaean's heart persists one large hole, those that the love of two parents should have filled.. Although Lernaean has two parents, their divorce and attitude when Lernaean was a kid, has left a need to impress his Father, and idolise his mother, both of who aren't worth either.
As Lernaean gets older he has begun to gradually become more of a team player, and less of a self-imposed hermit of isolation. Even being able to have real relationships with significant others eventually. Although Lernaean will never let go of his flaws, he has begun to use those flaws to push himself further in a, much healthier, much happier lifestyle.
Further Character Outline
Lernaean Damocles Herrington is the Third Son of Father Lucius Herrington and Mother Genevieve London. He's also Dylan Herrington's younger half-brother. Lernaean has a relatively good relationship with his extended family, always taking his time to appreciate them, despite his otherwise refusal to socialise. Lernaean otherwise enjoys the sciences, with his father being a noteworthy scientist.
Lernaean, after being expelled from Institut Le Victoire, Lernaean was punished by being forced to move to Karakura, as a political hostage, he was forced to attend a public school, as to not intimidate the public. He is kind by nature, however possessing a distaste for a majority of the Karakuran population, not due to their wealth gap - but due to the way they negatively treat him, mainly in connotation to his very own wealth and status.
Before Preston Herringtons death, it appeared that the two shared a great kinship, with Lernaean deeply admiring his uncle, whom he spent so much time with as a young child , even wishing to become a Police Officer, despite the lack of a need for a job, to become a civil servant, in honour of Preston, was his wish. This was up until his death, where Lernaean now deals with the mourning of his Uncle in private, as if Even at his death, Lernaean thinks of Preston as a near mythological legend who fought for Japanese security and prosperity, as well as the little man.
Lernaean is frequently jokingly suggested to be homosexual. He has never really understood or realised the outcome of his sexuality because of his conformist upbringing, lifestyle, and childhood circumstances. Lernaean's true sexuality is thus kept obscure OOCly, but he is heterosexual ICly, according to himself and the public.
Lernaean, unlike 99 percent of his family, exhibits little to no actual malice or ambition, and appears to be a decent man in his dealings. He is often described as a natural genius, diligent, and brilliant. Lernaean is a brilliant planner and adept at mapping out scenarios, and he is highly perceptive and has impressive problem solving skills. However, his high intelligence and frequent praise from others built the groundwork for an intense level of hubris. He has no interest in his family legacy, or being the heir to it, wanting instead to focus inwards on himself.
Powers and Abilities
Genius Level Intellect: Lernaean is considered to be one of the worlds best and brightest, a stat shared similarly by his Father Lucius, a man with 10 degrees, and enough skills that you could fill a dictionary with them.
Investigation: Lernaean once had an interest in joining the Police Force, He has exceptional abilities in observation, forensic investigation, and inductive and deductive thinking. Lernaean was trained in his Investigative abilities via two of his uncles, Preston and Grant Herrington, in whom he spent a lot of time with growing up.
Basic Medical Science: A few members in his families careers are in the Health Sector, or have at the very least, qualifications in it. Growing up as a Child, learning basic Medical Science was just a given. . .
Occultism: Lernaean is a trained Priest of the Soroist Religion, in which there is a type of magic, he believes himself capable of this magic. . . if it be real or not. . . (P.S It's not.)
Fencing: Lernaean studied fencing during his time at Institut Le Victoire.
Master Engineer: He is a extremely talented engineer and robotics technician, having been able to many many complicated inventions at a young age, building his first circuit board at the age of six, and his first engine a year later.
Master Scientist: A great young mind in the realm of science. He is highly resourceful, brilliant & knowledgeable in many different fields (but only particularly enjoying Biology) He is often seen growing specially grown roses, in whom he gives to his friends as gifts.
Multilingualism: Lernaean can speak three languages, his native language English, his essential French and Japanese later in his life after moving to Karakura.
Religious Prodigy: Lernaean was raised in the Soroistic Church as a young boy, eventually becoming the youngest ever to gain the title of Soroistic Priest.

The Seven Holy Values:
- Fidelity is the quality of consistency. It is the foundation for sound reasoning, morality, trust, and loyalty. It enables us to anticipate future behaviour based on previous conduct. When it comes to the most worthy ideas, acts, values, or alliances, fidelity is most valued.
- Sovranty is the virtue of predominance. It is the weapon of every strong-willed legend, and the secret divider in every war lost. It enables the user to yield power and to utilise influence effectively over others. It is the state of superiority, or a will strived towards an occupation or a position of dominance.
- Cupidity is the wishful thinking mechanic of the bold and accomplished alike. Ones eager to have more, to be more and to inspire for more, keeps humanity moving forward, faster, greater and of swifter a foot. To have it all is to yield maximum cupidity.
- Hedonism is the pursuement of happiness and self-indulgence, and that in life; seeking pleasure and reward is a high example of how one should project their life towards whilst trying to minimise pain or negativity in one's outlook in life.
- Passion is the acceptance of emotional, instinctive and primitive drives in oneself. To strive for what makes one happy, be that positive or negative. To be passionate is to strive for something you love.
- Charisma is the tendency to be engaging, verbally facile and superficially exposed. To crush and eliminate internal struggles such as self-consciousness or fear by the weight of your int****rsonal intelligence and to live by charm and approachability.
- Ambition is the habit of innovation, economic growth and dreaming. To have ambition is to accept every other value, and to live with these every day. To be innovative is what moves humanity forward. This is the most important of values.
Self Interest can be defined as the willingness to do something of value for others to secure the things that benefit oneself. "It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest" Self Interest in the terms of Soroism does not inherently have need to be brought upon by selfishness but can in reality be a path of humility. Often in Soroism, The Soroist's self interest extends and is balanced by their love of others (often including their family, tribe or associates.) However the word Self-Interest is undoubtedly morally neutral, it is the man himself who ultimately defines the results of his actions.
Others' Needs:
When deciding courses of actions, Soroism preaches that you place yourself (and it's importance) above the self interests of others as less important and somewhat invalid in comparison. The Soroist ideal of Putting Yourself First is an old one that strays back to The Middle Ages during famines and periods of large wars, this was a time where putting yourself first meant the difference between life and death, this mixes with the Soroistic Value of Sovranty.
Duty to Religion:
A Soroistic life is one of obedience and overall practice. From a young age they are endorsed into the Religion, in which they are read scriptures and made to learn The Seven Holy Values, they are taught these commandments so that they will obey them. They learn they have a duty to not only pray, but the duty of ensuring happiness for themselves and those they value despite a hard life they may serve. They have a duty to work not only hard, but harder than those around them, to be perfect without cutting corners, this provides them generously and on occasion, others less so; Which is okay.
Rule of Three:
A Soroism Creed, that comes from Soroist Legend. The rule states that peoples, artefact, utility, opportunity or undertaking that comes naturally of in a group of three is inherently lucky or at least of natural greater outcome.
The Tribute of Thyestes:
The Tribute of Thyestes relates to the impact of High Priest Thyestes. It is important to realise that Cannibalism was not always a factor in the Soroist diet, and in fact, it can be perceived as only a fairly old tradition.
Thus came Thyestes, year 994 on the Gregorian Calendar, who grew up within the Soroist Church as an orphan child, due to this the child was destined to become a Priest, as back in those days, you often didn’t have many opportunities outside of your birthright. Thyestes was always a very violent, but charismatic symbol, even as a young boy being very convincing. Anglo-Saxon England was a very different culture to present day England, Thyestes village located in what would eventually become Birmingham was only a small village, about 100 people or so, his father a gatherer who had lost his life to a wolf, and his mother whom had died in childbirth. It is important to realise that Anglo-Saxon villages at these times were insanely self-sufficient, except for - in this case salt and iron, something the village of Beorma had plenty. This led to much civil distrust, and in these times, idiocy. After many years of infighting, Thyestes had developed a system for establishing power, this was by the then taboo practice of Cannibalism. “Ondesn, un−l¯æd duguð dryht, yfel hlêoðorcwide campian”

Death and afterlife:
The Soroist believe in a land of opportunity, and those whom in their lifeforce prove their triumph will receive more of the benefits that come with such land after their deaths. There is no eternal damnation, just a class-divided afterlife, of which those who are good Soroists will aim higher on said system. (A sort of anti-annihilationism) Soroism hold funerals for their lost, in which the members of said family, as well as friends (who share their faith) and select priests perform worship. The succumbed body, placed upon a Soroist statue as the funeral commences. In this funeral, it is a custom for a sacrifice (usually found off of the streets) to be eaten, and for their blood to be used for the exercises performed in this ritual. A bible is always present.
Love and Marriage: Soroists believe that the binding partnership of marriage is a powerful symbol of power and the weight that you can have with sharing it, this is also a relationship shared with The Gods and the Church. Getting married is a public declaration of both love and lifelong commitment towards both a person and their interests. Marriage is a very important aspect in Soroism (One of the more precedent beliefs.) Soroism has no issues regarding same-sex marriage (essentially being pro lgbtq+) and did not ever define any rules relating to who may marry whom, however controversial it was for the majority of the Religions existence, not so much so however in present day. Love to a Soroist is very important to them, it is a perfect depiction of both the Value of Passion and Hedonism.
Arranged Marriages are somewhat common between Soroists, as it is ingrained deeply in their culture. There is no stigma in it amongst Soroism or it's participants. The type of Arranged Marriages practiced in Soroism are amongst some of the most respectable kinds (being both consensual and ultimately made of love.) These arranged marriages are often arranged by parents, grandparents or churches in order to either gain power, end infighting or allow for peace to flourish in times of War. The two parties (usually heterosexual partners from the two groups, but not exclusively) are asked to be married (asked of, not told), with right to deny the marriage request upon 7 days of interaction with said potential husband/wife (If denied, another member of said group goes through the same process until a partner is found.) If not all of these marriages are typically endogamous. These arranged marriages are symbols of social mobility, individualism, peace and fundamentalism. (All traits that Soroism favours.)
Colour Symbolism in Soroism:
The uses of colours and it's symbolism became very important (often placed highly above other measurements) in order to determine and differentiate liturgical seasons. This became a practice sometime after the Tribute of Thyestes. Patriarch of Æthelstan would later enforce more systematic uses (as they tended to vary greatly from each use, sometimes red meant death, in other cases it meant to be of great health and blood...) in order to appropriate and streamline the Church. He would form a basic colour palette for colour symbolism. Red symbolizes spiritual awakening, rebirth and the will to surpass for example.

Communal worship:
Services of worship, typically following a pattern or form known as liturgy. These usually occur every 13th Saturday, however can be held informally every week. This is due to the assumed heavy schedule of its participants, who are often spread far across the world, spreading the fires of their ability in hopes of triumph. During this 13th Saturday - it is a custom for a large feast to be held afterwards (not usually a cannibalistic pleasure, however not exempt.) A Psalm or hymn is usually sung by servants in the background, cordially. It is considered an offense of the highest decree to miss a communal worship, even if the participants have to come in full body casts.
Blood Baptism:
Blood Baptism is the ritual act by which a person is admitted to membership in the Church, with the use of blood (red wine if a sufficient sacrifice is not available). This is similar to baptismal regeneration, which states that baptism generates or enhances a person's faith and is tied to salvation. When a kid is an infant, he or she is always baptised. If the baptised are not victims, they may donate the limb of a partner or their own offspring as a commitment to the cause, in which case they may be granted an exception to this restriction - but this is by no means guaranteed.
Animal Sacrifice:
An animal sacrifice in Soroism is called driv khado (動物の犠牲). The term's meaning since simply lost to time, however it is has been since interpreted to simply mean "sacrifice as a ritual." However it is unknown if this is accurate or just mere speculation. The Sacrificial is always a rodent, rabbit, birds, reptiles or any type of amphibian. The animal is a symbolism for inequality.

What is the Soroism Religion?
The Grand Soroist Church is the basis of what was originally called the "Herrington Religion." A religion practiced by nearly the entire family (whom albeitly do not exist very much in present day SRP.); all of whom are very important to the Server Lore, from vice-principles to real estate tycoons to even the first couple of Hospital Directors, Two Police Commissioners & a Mayor, with the religion being created OOCly to create a justification for our characters wild and often immoral personalities.
Who are Soroists?
Soroism is a very old religion, filled mostly with very aristocratic individuals that dates back many eras. The followers of this religion are ICly referred to as Soroists, they are those who embrace the virtue and values of the Soroism religion to their fullest extent. They worship a pantheon of gods but there is certainly a main one, whom is called The God, Omal. Under the Gods they also accept the Patriach as the spiritual leader of The God, Omal. (Very similar to that of a Pope.) To be a Soroist one must live their life by honouring The God, Omal and the Values he has set out for us as Soroists.
Why create a Lore Document about this Religion four months after the family officially disbanded?
I was the original creator of the religion, as much as it was a Herrington bi-product I believe it is a piece of my work on SRP that I never got around to finishing (a pet peeve I have when people start a cool promising project and then never deliver on said idea.) It's also important to mention that I simply like. to. write. It doesn't need to be any big plot set up or anything in-depth, just something I made to pass the time.
A secondary reason was that it simply took up too much space on my Lucius Herrington thread in which frankly annoyed me.
How do I join this Religion?
You can't. Unless some crazy amount of hype is thrown my way (A group of people are genuinely interested.) it'll just stay as some highly extensive lore for my remaining Herrington Family characters.

The History of the Karakuran Economy:
A gigantic textbook; a little smaller then the size of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, it would look rather fancy as if it was an expensive college textbook. It would be published by Herrington Publishing Co. which was a corporation owned by the Herrington Family; with the current CEO being Harold Herrington who was one of the former owners of the Karakuran Family Store during 2019. On the back of the cover there would be a little bit of text inscribed into it saying This book was written and published by his father, it means a lot to Lernaean, being one of his most prized possessions, as it was a gift to him personally upon his 16th birthday.

Flaws:Ambiguous Social Disability: Lernaean suffers from this undiagnosed social disability, and has for all of his life. Things such as social ineptitude, the inability to read a room ,or know he should be trying to, bizarre thinking patterns, a need to exhibit a strict adherence to routine. The need to point out the gap in his own intelligence, and thus his superiority, although not using it to strike an argument, more "matter of factly." then anything.
(As I did not want to offend anybody with a characterised impersonation of a disability, I choosed to make an amalgamation of a few disorders..)
Inability to lie: Lernaean is incapable of lying. Lernaean has a strong moral code that deems lying unacceptable, as apart of this Lernaean has become incapable of lying, even . . . if he really wants too. However he can be trusted with secrets, for the most part unless somebody questions him.
Haphephobia: Lernaean displays symptoms of haphephobia (the fear of human contract), however in recent years he's been very much overcoming his issues for the sake of his relationships, however generally he still refuses to shake hands or touch most humans at all.

- Lernaean goes through something called progressive aging. where that in a story - the character will experience growth not only in personality during the plot but in physical appearance in age. Every 3+ months I age up Lernaean by one year. Eventually he'll be an old man at this rate.
- Lernaean has not discovered his true sexuality yet. Mostly due to societal pressures in his home life, it has just never become a reality for him, and probably wont for quite some time.
- Lernaean's mother is a real character from 2019. Whom belonged to a player (wwynter) who no longer exists on this Server.
- Lernaean is pro Eat the Rich. This is odd, as his bloodline is essentially the emblem for unkept rampant capitalism.
- Lernaean is truly unaware of his families bad deeds. He has never eaten anybody, nor does he believe its anything more than a urban myth, an ideal commonly shared by the majority of the Herrington Family.
- Lernaeans middle name is "Damocles."
- One of Lernaeans fantasies is; to reclaim Myriad Tower, after it was forcefully taken from them. The place was like his home. He loved that Tower, even if it costs him 100,000,000. . . a sizeable chunk of his trust-fund inheritance.

HERRINGTON HOLDINGS INCORPORATION is a British Multinational conglomerate company founded in 1892 by founder Darius Herrington, the great-grandfather of the current CEO Luke Herrington. The company started out as a steel manufactoring company "acier" and would later feel a large economic boost during World War I and World War II with the abundance of steel the British needed during these two wars. Because of this the Company was able to become a Fortune-500 company and is one of the most famous Holding companies in the world, having provinces in nearly every major country and at least one in every continent.
HERRINGTON HOLDINGS INCORPORATION is controversial for their bad relationship with environmental practices as well as their general bad press regarding human rights and other socio-political axes, however it is still one of the largest conglomerates in the world despite of this, being considered too big to fail by the business sector of the world.
