What are your current roles on the server?:
Currently, my involvement in the SRP community has shifted, and I am primarily active in the Sports Faction, holding the role of [HS-Football-Captain]. In this position, I lead my team, promoting teamwork and skill development on and off the field. Additionally, I have a college role as Masters, alongside an Adult tag!
While my roles aren't as extensive as before, I find happiness in leading the football team and contributing to the SRP community.
Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are important on SRP due to the fact that SchoolRP wouldn't be able to function without actual educators. Teachers play a role in nurturing new players into a state where they can grasp the server mechanics. /me raises hand, or just learning in general. I've sat in multiple classrooms where I've actually learnt something I hadn't known before purely due to the fact a teacher is specialized or semi-specialized in the subject they teach for me I managed to get a B in mathematics in high school so I'd say I'm pretty adept to being a Maths teacher. Teachers provide a comforting role play atmosphere for players. There are many factions on SchoolRP however I'd say that the Faculty + Teaching factions are the most important as they're the most immersive and players spend more time in the school than anywhere else on the server. They can assist individuals in gaining character development and I'm just excited to be able to help with that!
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:
Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes

What's your character's full name?:
Iha Ringo
What is your character's nationality?:
Japanese, Originally from Osakasayama
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
Mathematics (However I specialize in Numeracy!)
Describe your character:
Iha Ringo is a young woman whose presence drowns you in sophistication. Her long black hair can be seen cascading down to her waist, curling upward in a way that showcases her Utah Curls. She had striking, square-shaped eyes that were complimented by a pair of reading glasses that perched gracefully on the bridge of her nose, this gave her an air of intellectual charm. As people wondered past Iha, they couldn't help but notice her love for the finer things in life, she often adorns herself in pale gold jewelry that catches the light, or she may been seen wearing a limited edition kimono (hah).
Iha could be seen always cradling a collection of books, mythology.. folklore, something fictional. She carried an aura of warmth like a mothers apple pie. Through her style and presence, Iha Ringo truly embodies a timeless elegance that is both inspiring, and comforting.
yew cant see her face yet. . .
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Iha Ringo possesses a keen appreciation for students and co-workers, she sees them as unique individuals who all have their own stories and potential. Iha believes that every person contributes to something valuable to knowledge and creativity. Iha is invested in mentoring students as she understands the power that a good education can have on an individuals development.
Among Iha's co-workers she fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and respect. Iha values their perspectives and finds that each individual brings a distinct strength to the table. She actively promotes open communication and encourages creativity and the sharing of ideas. In her eyes, a supportive environment not only enhances productivity but also allows for person growth and that makes every interaction an opportunity for learning, Ultimately Iha views both students and colleagues as companions. However she would prefer to be stuck in a book all day..
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
Iha's motivation for teaching stems from her own passion for knowledge, her desire to inspire curiosity in her students. She finds joy in witnessing when something finally clicks for a student, learning or getting something they didn't have before, this reinforced her commitment to education. Iha aims to create an inclusive learning environment where critical thinking and compassion flourish. She means this by meaningful connections and engaging discussions. She encourages her students to explore their identities and aspirations. Ultimately her goal is to ignite a lifelong love of learning, empowering students to pursue their own story.

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Iha would notice the student and attempt to identify the challenge by approaching the student and asking what the issue was and if there were anything she could do to help. If the student were to explain to her the issue she would offer one-on-one support so that the student may grasp the concept of the task they were focusing on. Iha would attempt to use different teaching mechanisms, such as explaining it slowly, using examples or pausing to create a game in the classroom to help the pupil grasp the concept, she'd encourage questions from not only the student struggling, but all students so said student wouldn't feel excluded or embarrassed about asking. Iha wants to focus on igniting a lifelong love of learning, so she'd provide resources such as websites or books a student could use to revise whilst also attempting to foster a growth mindset where she doesn't discourage the student but gives him a better outlook. After the student clicks and finally gets the concept, she would check-in throughout the class.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Iha doesn't really like to address conflict however if it were causing disturbance toward her lesson she would remain calm and composed as if you're giving a reaction the individual is more likely to act out and prevent further learning, Iha would set a task for the rest of the students to complete as she takes the behavioral-student to the side of the class to ask if there were a problem or lightly reminding him of the school rules. Iha would set clear expectations to the individual in order to remind him of what behavior is expected within the classroom, If an individual would continue being disruptive another verbal warning but this time publicly would be made. If the behaviour continued said student would be removed from the classroom.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
‘Miss Ringo’s super duper cool scavenger hunt!’
How this idea works;
Preparation: Before class begins, Iha would create a list of math problems related to the subject being studied (We’ll say addition for this!) Each problem would correspond to a specific location around the classroom or school; (E.G.. If Timmy swam for 15 minutes, and another … How long would he swim!) Then they’d have to go to the poolside, and find the number on the wall.
Instructions:
Divide the class into small groups and give each group a list (Book n’ quill.) Containing maths problems with missing numbers, students must go around the school and find each letter/number.
Execution:
As students find each item, they can solve the maths problem!
Reflection:
The first group to find all objects will get a prize! (Normally a piece of candy or a sticker :3 )

'To your stations!'
How this idea works:
Iha sets up multiple stations around the classroom, each corner would be assigned a problem, Addition, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication. Students will be given a book and quill.
Instructions:
Pupils will be told they have 5 minutes in each corner of the classroom, they will recieve a new book with questions corresponding to the corner they're in and have to answer all books. They only have 5 minutes however! After that they'll need to hand their book over to Miss Ringo which means.. They cant edit their answers which can see how much attention they're paying in the lesson.
Execution:
Students will have a competitive mindset as there will be a prize at the end!
I LOVE MAKING IDEAS I HAVE SO MANY.
