! A ghost seems to be blocking the path !
Hiii hi hi. I'm Luminosityspecter OR Lumin OR Lumi OR Specter (or Nico, if you dare). Whatever works best to refer to me as.
I officially joined SRP on October 15th 2024 (recent recent) after having it rot in my server list for like at least two years.
Other important things, I guess, is that I'm an artist! All socials follow the title of luminosityspecter, because branding of course. I joined SRP because of several reasons, but the main three were: my love of old Minecraft roleplay videos that forever live in free in my head, the times I roleplayed in a creative server as a child and had the time of my life, and the want to grow and expand my writing capabilities, as silly as it sounds.
Wanting to make a comic, or make something out of the several characters I have (albeit connected to their own stories, outside of roleplaying) was indeed the main push into saying "fuck it, we ball."

BEFORE we get into the fun of introducing my characters...
A little bit about the spirit behind the productions.
I drew a lot when I was a kid, as everyone did since art is usually a mandatory class when you're in elementary school, but I didn't start realizing how much I loved it until I was 9, which spiraled into the mess I am now. Although, I tend to not make fandom artwork nor even really interact with fandom media much, which is shocking considering how I am as a person (insane). Anyway, this means I've been drawing for a whopping 9 years, as I'm now 18 (DO NOT. CALL ME OLD.) and now planning for the big, scary future.
As stated, I would love to make a comic out of the characters I've made, but I'd need to do the things I don't really like about art, like drawing backgrounds or. Shiver. Animals. But I'm sure I'll get through it, making timelines and all.

As for my actual future if I don't ever make a comic, I'd love to study psychology. I would get into it, but it might sound #fakedeep but this is also a minecraft roleplay forum so you'll just... Sit through it.
Understanding the human mind and either pursuing the study into how the mind works further or helping those who need to work out their own thoughts sounds like something I'd be highly interested in. And AM interested in. There are so many studies out there that have been disproven yet used as foundation for what has become of psychology, and some studies that (sadly, depending on which one we're talking about [COUGH. FREUD. COUGH.]) still hold true.
If it also isn't obvious with the reoccurring thing of spirits (toooootally not because of the 'specter' in my name, nuh uh), I really like ghosts. And urban legends. And myths. Anything I can get my little grubby hands on.
When I was like 8, I think I interacted with a ghost? Up to you to decide if that was real or fake, but I think about that often nonetheless.

Who in the world do you play?
I have a few characters right now, and one planned for the future that will still be included.
ROXANNE HOU
Roxanne was my first character and has my heart, mind, and soul. I don't play as her much right now because of another character (Tatsumi), but I'm getting into the swing of things again. With her teasing and slightly bitchy attitude, it takes me some time to get the guts to play her. Although, she's nice like 80% of the time and actually pretty well-rounded, ignoring the trauma.
YUEBING 'BINGBING' CAI
If you ever saw a small brown rabbit bouncing around, it MIGHT'VE been this fellow. The any pronoun rabbit that eats walls and lives inside of Roxanne's (and Liuying Cai's :D) apartment. A relatively silly character I have, based on my own dog who is lovely and amazing but eats concrete and tin cans.
TATSUMI KUBO
The ****og horror of the student council. He's my newest character and one I made for some sort of school related activity, and with student council applications opening up when I made him, it was perfect. His thirst for knowledge really fits that role as well. He's also pretty normal, just a little weird and wacky, but overall harmless.
And finally, the future character I have planned.
OPALINE AQUINO
It'll take some time to work up this character, but all I know is that I want them to be college student (which means attending CLASSES! for HOMEWORK!) or an eventual member of the shrine (be it priest or maiden). Main quality? Tired. Sleepy. Will pass out on you in a heartbeat. MIGHT be a medical condition.
