What shop are you applying for?:
Lunaria Atelier
(Creative Arts & Media Department Store)
in the “OTHER” category

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:

I want to become a shopkeeper because I am deeply passionate about creating a business that contributes to the community beyond selling products. I want to make a space where members from all over the SRP community can come together to create, showcase, and participate in community events! Being a shopkeeper would give me a sustainable way to invest in such large activities rather than paying for everything out of pocket. It's an ongoing dream of mine to continue my work. To plan, execute, and create shop events that are fun, exciting, unique, and memorable!

I have been a member of the shop community since August 23, 2024, the date Yona-Yona was established. I have remained loyal to Yona-Yona for the past two years of it's operation in every role imaginable. At one point, I held the title of "YONA" of Yona-Yona, which made me head of the cosplay side of operations as well as the primary event planner for the shop and its unique events!

I truly enjoy interacting with people and forging long-lasting connections, friendships, and memories with the members of RoleplayHub's community. I believe that running a shop would be an amazing way to combine my creativity, social skills, and interest in community building. My goal is for my shop to become something people recognize as an active part of the server and its community, just like Yona-Yona was for many of us. This isn't just another business; it's the continuation of a shared dream, and I wish to keep that dream alive.

What makes me qualified for the Shopkeeper role?:

Despite never having the official shopkeeper tag, I have played an active role in opening Yona-Yona as a manager several times, paying staff, creating Google Forms for applications, hiring and hosting orientation for the cosplayer/model role, and I have an EXTENSIVE understanding of SRP's Shop Panel.

I genuinely believe I am one of the strongest candidates for this position because I bring more than just interest in owning a shop; I bring nearly two years of hands-on experience managing responsibilities that directly translate into being a successful shopkeeper.

One of my greatest strengths is networking. To say it plainly, I love people, and I love working with people!

I genuinely care for the community, and I have demonstrated on several occasions my ambition, capability, and skills in community organization, event planning, collaboration, staff management, and the creativity to bring engaging experiences for SRP players.

Some examples of shop-centric events I’ve personally organized and facilitated are:

- “Pride in Cosplay” Workshop
- Hoshino Productions x Yona-Yona KPDH Event
- Halloween Cosplay Photoshoot w/Photography Club
- “Love Letters” Event w/Yeobo
- “LUCKY STAR” Performance at Karakura’s ComicCon

The Comic-Con performance is perhaps the clearest example of dedication to the role. I spent nearly an entire month leading up to the event choreographing an entire dance routine that the community could enjoy. I care so much about the quality of the experience that I create for my staff, customers, and other players. Aside from managing public events, I’ve organized private events, staff bonding opportunities, and photoshoots within the shop's tight-knit community. I’ve also taken on the responsibility of managing budgets for events, cosplay orders, and designs.

Ultimately, I don’t believe my qualifications come from simply saying I could run a shop. They come from the fact that I have already been doing many of the things that a shopkeeper is expected to do. I manage people & resources, organize events, network with communities and other groups, and I am consistently putting in a lot of work behind the scenes.

I mean it when I say I am passionate and driven. Becoming a shopkeeper would allow me to take the experience I have gained and turn it into something larger, something that can benefit the community as a whole.

What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
Concept & Goal
Lunaria Atelier will serve Karakura as a one-stop creative hub for all things artistic, creative, and hands-on! What makes Lunaria unique is that it doesn't specialize in one particular type of product; it operates as a department-based creative supply store!
The goal is to create a space where almost any creative project can find its starting point. SRP characters are complex and diverse, and their hobbies often reflect that. If a character is into cosplay, fashion, photography, painting, sculpting, you name it... Lunaria is there to supply the goods they can utilize to portray that in their roleplay experiences!
Build Concept & Layout
When shopkeeper applications first opened, I took a look at the building assigned in the "OTHER" category and was immediately inspired. It caught my attention because of its four-floor layout. Rather than treating the additional floors as unused space, or trying to space out all the products across such a large area, I had the idea to make each floor serve a distinct purpose within Lunaria. And each department will have some sort of a "creative space" or "makerspace" if you will.
Here is my vision from the bottom up:
LVL 1: Cashier/Fashion & Cosplay
The main retail floor will contain the cashier lanes alongside the "Fashion & Cosplay" department. This floor will focus on sewing supplies, fabrics, cosplay materials & a small selection of wearable-creation goods (such as anime-inspired prop weapons, books, plushie companions etc.) This floor will also be where the tailoring workshop will be! A space that gives customers and community members a place to participate in hands-on workshop events! I took the initiative to reach out to Sharktism, the Fashion Club lead, and we discussed what kinds of workshops and events we could bring to the community!
LVL 2: Photography & Media
The second floor is designated to photography & digital media! This will include cameras, photography equipment, and media-related goods. This floor will contain the dedicated photo booth section that creates a space for photography workshops, photoshoots, and collaborations with other community organizations like the Photography Club, which I have worked with before! Destiny is amazing to work with!
LVL 3: Fine Arts
The third floor will focus on more traditional forms of physical fine arts such as painting, sculpting, calligraphy, and so on! This space will be designed as an art studio, where customers can peruse the goods while also feeling as if they are in the midst of a real creative workspace! This space would be designed to be used for art-focused community events and showcases.
LVL 4: OFFICES & EVENTS
The fourth floor will function as Lunaria's administrative and community space. It will contain the shop's office area & event space for staff meetings, roleplay collaboration meetings, orientations, showcases, and events!
DEPARTMENT STRUCTURE
As someone who knows how demanding it can be to manage several aspects of a shop myself, I am making it my utmost priority to ensure Lunaria has an organized structure that reflects the size and scope of my business concept.
My vision for the shop is for each department to have a DEPARTMENT HEAD. This would be akin to a manager role. It means that person would be the “expert” of their section. They would be members of SRP’s community who have a deep passion for their craft and could assist me with tasks such as marketing, event planning, brainstorming new ideas, and whatever else they may want to accomplish! It’s super important to me that everyone’s voice is heard in this company, especially because SRP is supposed to be collaborative and fun for all!

What will you sell in your shop?:

Lunaria’s products will consist of creative hobby materials!

In each department/floor, there will be different products pertaining to their respective categories.

A baseline of what someone should expect when walking into the store is items such as: Sewing supplies/kits, cosplay/costume materials & pieces, handheld cameras, photography-themed poster items, studio lighting sets, paint palettes, paintbrushes, sketchbooks, modeling clay & so much more!

I have put together some visuals, organized by department, to pitch some ideas for custom items that my shop would sell!

Screenshot 2026-08-27 213147.png

Screenshot 2026-08-27 212358.png

How many employees do you plan to have?:

I plan to have about 3 managers, one per department, and 6 employees per department. Including myself, that would add up to around 22 employees on the roster.

Shopkeeper [1/1]
Soo-Min Park (honglisan)

Head of Fashion Department [1/1]
Toshihiro Ezureya (LiterallyElite_)

Fashion Department Members [0/6]

Head of Visual Media Department [0/1]

Visual Media Department Members [0/6]

Head of Fine Arts Department [0/1]

Fine Arts Department [0/6]

One important thing to note before I move on is that staff in each department are not necessarily BINDED to that department. There is always going to be some crossover; the department is more of an RP asset, so when we do staff bonding or shop events, each department will have a team of people to work with for those larger tasks and activities!

All employees, regardless of department or rank, will be allowed to work as a cashier.

What is the benefit of this department system?:

As I’ve mentioned previously, I want each department to be able to thrive and collaborate at their own leisure! Of course, OF COURSE I will always be there to assist with major projects, events, networking, and so on, but making Lunaria a safe space for members to bring in their ideas is priority number one! I was super fortunate to be given a lot of creative opportunities during my time at Yona-Yona (Thank you, Rexi), and I want to pay that forward as much as I can. I want to inspire a new “generation” of people who feel confident and safe enough to share their art, accomplishments, and ideas, because at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about, right?

What would a typical opening look like?:

I plan to open with about 7 members present at each standard (non-event) opening.

Ideally, it would be 1 member of management(someone to open the shop, of course), 3 cashiers, and 3 floor staff (one employee on each floor).

The main responsibilities of each opening role are as follows:

Shopkeeper/Manager: This role is to oversee the shop's day-to-day operations. They will be present to answer any questions that customers and staff have regarding shop customs, employment opportunities, events, and so on.

Cashiers: Standard retail employee responsibilities. They will manage their own lane, attend to customer orders, and keep track of their sales in the shop panel.

Floor Staff: Now this is the more unique and interesting role. I’ve taken inspiration from the cosplay/model role that Yona-Yona had. Basically, each floor will have a staff member posted there to answer any department-specific questions, show off/display items from their department, and overall make the shop feel more lively and fun to be in!

Each of these roles is super important to the shop operations, and I really do believe that this system will not only bring a fresh retail experience, but it also opens the floor to player interaction!

What kinds of events do I have planned?:

Oh SO MANY!
However, for the sake of being responsible with my application length. I will narrow it down to four… one unified shop event, and one event designed around each department!
GLOBAL SHOP EVENT
“Creator Café”
I initially thought of this as a way to showcase Lunaria’s Talents in a sort of “Art Showcase” type of scenario, but I do understand that SRP is, at the end of the day, very in the moment! While I do plan to have long-standing events such as art competitions, tailoring challenges, and so on… I redirected my focus to making the Creator Café more of a shop faction-wide event!
I would invite my fellow shopkeepers & other members of the faction to host their own booths and participate in a community event centred around their respective niches!
An example of some booths could be:
Kirei Hana: Having a bouquet-making stand, selling their flowers.
Yeobo/Koribureku: Having their refreshments booth so the participants can grab a coffee or a snack as they peruse the booths.
Off-Tempo: Tattoos and piercings are art too! I’d invite them to have a flash tattoo and/or piercing booth like you see at festivals and carnivals!
I have so many other ideas! I think this event would be a GREAT opportunity for shopkeepers to build relationships and participate in something exciting and meaningful without the pressure of a major server event! Though I would not be opposed to one, I think that building interpersonal relationships and rapport with one another could benefit the faction as a whole.
COSPLAY & FASHION
“Seasonal Runway Galas”
You will be introduced to these characters later in the application, but the two founders of Lunaria, Toshihiro and Soo-Min, have had a long-standing tradition of donning matching outfits at least once every season.
I know it would make so much sense for Soo-Min to want to incorporate this into her shop events.
Each season, there will be a theme provided, and we will decorate the shop according to the theme. Members of the shop, fashion club, and anyone else who wants to participate will be invited to come and walk the runway, showcase their work, and enjoy the themed ambience!
VISUAL MEDIA
“Photobooth Shoots”
As I mentioned earlier, I want to incorporate a studio Photo Booth in the visual media department.
This would be more like an experience rather than a glorified opening event. Every now and then, one of the department members, preferably the Head, would open the photo booth for in-store photos! We can make a cute backdrop that rotates every now and then and post all the photos in our shop Discord for everyone to view at their own leisure!
We could also use this as an opportunity to market our visual media products of course!
FINE ARTS
“Make & Take”
Okay, a little bit of a Lisa(me) lore drop… I work in childcare irl, and I love doing crafts with the children! I wanted to incorporate this passion into SRP, where basically, we’ll have an “instructor” (who would likely be a staff member or a special guest), explain how to make a craft! Something people would be able to describe visually! Then, after they complete their art pieces, we will (with permission) display them in the shop either on bookshelves or in a specified channel in the Discord!
During this event, we could sell artsy products like pens, pencils, notebooks, etc., but the main focus would be on the creativity! Just giving people something to do, low to no pressure!

Lunaria's Backstory

Originally named "Lunaria Threadworks", the company was founded by a young Toshihiro Ezureya; a creative man with a mind full of ideas, as well as a strong passion to stitch awe-inspiring apparel not only for his own personal wardrobe, but also for many others! A talented tailor running his own small business out of his studio apartment. Yet despite his studio being rather small, his success was not, and his outfits could be seen all around Karakura's fashion scene.

When Soo-Min first came to Karakura, she knew barely anyone. Navigating life in a new city is always daunting! However, things were looking up for the young Korean woman as Minnie would soon meet and quickly befriend her now-partner, Toshi, and together they encouraged each other's confidence and built something together that they hope will last for generations!

Soon after meeting, Soo-Min would begin her work at Yona-Yona Cosplay, working under her boss, Anatoly Sidorov. After one year of loyal service, Soo-Min ascended to the role of "YONA", head of cosplay and events. Who else would become the designer of her costumes? None other than her dearest friend, Toshi! With his innate skills and Soo-Min's undeniable charisma, the two took the cosplay scene by storm! Now, together they wish to nurture a space where others could find their passion and create, just as they did, and thus, Lunaria Atelier was born!

Additional notes about your application:

- Soo-Min Park is currently 21, holding a master's role. If I were to be accepted, I would be 100% okay with aging her up to 26 and transferring my College Master's to another slot!

- As of right now, Soo-Min Park and Toshihiro Ezureya are legally married and documented in the Karakura Town Hall Database. I fully understand that aging up my character may pause or void this marriage entirely, and I am okay with that for the time being. (Toshihiro is currently 20, holding a bachelor's college slot)

- As mentioned previously, my main account (honglisan) currently has HS-SWIM as a primary role; if I were to get accepted into the faction, I would need that Sports Faction role swapped to my alt account (eflowa).

Do you have any questions?:

Not at the moment, but if you require any extra information from me or need to discuss anything mentioned in my application, I am open to that!
Thank you for your consideration!
