As most people know, you can append your description one time depending on your rank, of course! - IDK if anyone has suggested this before so if so.. my bad.

I think - again, depending on your rank - you should be able to append your description MORE than once. So for example, Rich and Rich+ should only be able to append their description once, the same as how many times they can append a normal action. (This is how it already is for everyone). Then! For Notable, Notable+, Omega and Omega+, you'd be able to append your description twice!

How will this benefit the server and community?:
I just think it would be a tiny update most would enjoy and hopefully agree to! Sometimes it's hard to fit everything about your characters appearance/vibe into the amount of words you can put into a singular append. For me, anyway!

I agree! I just meant that I personally like to go all out when describing what they look like and usually run out of room ^^; From the way someone looks to the way they speak, its hard to fit it all :(

Sure, it gives people freedom to write, and I don't even disagree with the fact that it could be seen as a positive thing. But, the community can follow roleplay trends that make certain tasks that should be light-hearted and simple, extremely daunting. Whilst it's always a choice to do certain things in regards to adding depths to characters, I feel as though it also removes mystery from every character. As a roleplayer who looks for the key to unlocking other character's mysteries through unique paths of character duality, I see this as a chance for people to show more off of their character, rather than tell it in roleplay scenarios. I don't want to read the book of a character's appearance from the jump, I want to read something that personalises everything about the context of the situation. I feel as though immersion is lost when people are given access to things like this. I'd use it if it was introduced, of course, but, there are little things that make unravelling a character through your own, much more enjoyable than reading a premade description that tells me everything about a character's appearance.

Which is fair, but id like to add character details to my description without having to cut out parts or reword things just to make it fit ): we used to have longer descriptions and it was really cool but they got rid of it

As stated in the previous suggestion made about this same topic, descriptions are allowed to be long enough as is and players are encouraged to create biographies of their characters to elaborate further on their appearance & mannerisms if 2 appends isn’t enough. Biographies are used to go further in depth about the character and descriptions are used for the very surface and outer appearance of the character. I personally wouldn’t want to right click someone and be greeted with a massive wall of text haha

you know what youre so real for this... alternatively they can just add a self made gradient like how it is for actions (so its not an impossible thing to do i assume)

but, generally i dont find this necessary. perhaps I am spoiled! but, I think truly good writing comes when we need to confine ourselves to what we care about.

+1 I enjoy using lots of descriptive language to create a visual of my character, since I tend to create them without a face claim, It's easier to put in words then have to pay for art ^_^
