Describe your activity on the server:
Due to being semi inactive the past 2 months, I haven’t had much time on SRP. Now, I plan on playing mostly in the evenings-night-midnight (in my time), which comes out to playing weekdays from 6-8PM to 2-3AM unless I’m tired. On weekends, I’m free to play on Friday from 4PM till 2-3AM, with breaks in between, and Saturday is anytime, till 2AM-3AM maximum, unless I’m free the Sunday after.

Are you aware that inactivity can result in removal from the council?:

Yes, I am aware and won’t get to that point, not even close.

What is the student council and what do they do?:

Simply put, the Student Council is the group that branches out from the Faculty, the main difference being that the Faculty are working adults, and have many many responsibilities due to being the 2nd highest authority in the school, SLT being 1st. The Student Council is responsible for keeping the school peaceful, students behavior and dealing with their antics, and keeping an overall respectful environment in the school.

What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
I’ve been busy for a while, and during that busy time I just started to gain interest in the student council.

Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
Yes, I am! I’m always willing to participate and come up with ideas for events. Can’t guarantee they’ll be good, but I trust myself!

Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:

[President]

The President holds the primary executive authority and serves as the official head of the council team. This role requires managing both the internal operations of the organization and its external relationships.

[Vice-President]

The Vice President functions as the chief operating officer and direct successor within the council hierarchy. The role is designed to distribute the executive workload and ensure administrative continuity.

[Councillor]

Councillors are the backbone of the team. They represent the community and do the work to get projects done. Every councillor gets an equal vote on major decisions like changing rules, starting initiatives, or spending the budget. They bring feedback from the people to meetings, debate ideas, and vote on how to move forward. Once a plan is approved, councillors manage the logistics, run the events, and handle the daily work to make it happen.

SCENARIOS

While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?

“I’d sit or stand near said student, sending glares their way. If they don’t catch the clue, I’d get much closer, distancing myself so that they can hear me whisper to them. I’d whisper for them to be quieter, otherwise I’ll have to help them find the way out of the assembly, and hand out detention accordingly. If they do not comply, I will do what I said I will do.”

A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?

“I would report the student to a fellow councillor, teacher, and faculty in general. Running after them is pretty useless, unless they’re posing real danger to someone. If and when the student is identified and called to the main office, I wouldn’t want to scare him into running again, I’d approach him calmly and explain the situation, and hand punishments accordingly.”

A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?

“Firstly, threats are not something tolerable in this school. Any threat should be dealt with the utmost of severity, without fault. I’d take information from everyone involved in the situation, and relay it to the teacher. Talking with the teacher will include what punishment will follow suit to the threatening student, and attempting to get the student help with a school Counselor.”

A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?

“Yes. Students have a right to free speech, and I don’t have the power to take it away. I allow them to protest on school grounds. To ensure that the protest doesn't disrupt the school environment, I ask them to help me find a spot in which they can be seen, heard, but would not interrupt people at all. Finally, to ensure their freedom of expression is being protected, I make sure to stay near the group and I shut down any attempts to harm their freedom of expression.”

A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?

“I would ask the teacher what he thought I was doing that went against what I was trained to do. After getting the information on what they thought, I review said situation in my eyes but with the feedback of the teacher taken into account, and apologize nonetheless, but even more if I truly went against what I was taught to do.”

Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):

Martial Arts Day!

“Karakura’s a dangerous place, err.. Yeah. Felt it on my own skin ‘n bones!”

The event has 2 parts:

1. Hand to Hand combat. This part has everything from Judo to Jiu-Jitsu. Students will be taught proper etiquette on the tatami, be taught Katas, takedown techniques, and more. Each student can choose the martial art they go to, unless there isn’t enough manpower to man all sorts of H2H combat stations, then we choose between Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and Karate. In Judo, students will be taught how to throw, pin, and submit opponents using leverage and momentum rather than brute strength. In Jiu-Jitsu, the students will be taught to use leverage, body mechanics, and position to control or submit an opponent, regardless of size. Due to the sheer size of some people in Karakura, this is beneficial for self defense H2H combat! Lastly, in Karate, students will learn how to do fundamental techniques such as strikes, kicks and blocks, codified movement patterns which are named Kata, and controlled sparring in a circle, to simulate an actual fight!

2. Kubudo & Iaido. This part is all about how to use traditional wooden weaponry that the Japanese martial arts have taught since forever. Students will be taught specifically Iaido, the art of Katana (or in this case, Bokken) drawing, striking the enemy and sheathing the sword in one motion. Kubudo can be broken down into many, MANY weapons, but choosing 2 seems to be the best way to move with it. Nunchaku and Tonfa. The Nunchaku is a weapon that is risky to use, as it can harm the user. The students learn to manage momentum. The weapon is taught as an extension of the body’s core weight. They learn to redirect the weapon’s path using smooth, circular paths so that it never loses speed or veers off control. The Tonfa is a weapon, but also a GREAT shield! Students are taught to block heavy weapon attacks (like a samurai sword or a bo staff) using the wood to absorb the impact, completely protecting their bones. They learn precise body alignment so the shock travels through the weapon and their skeletal frame, rather than injuring their muscles.

The day ends with a performance done by the student council of a story that comes in the form of an act of a fight.

Gender:

“Male, I go by He/Him.”

Age:

“I’m like, 20, this year. I’m getting old. Oh god.”

Phone number:

“030-121-1325. Uhh. I think.”

How would you describe your personality?:

“I’m a pretty laid back guy. Relaxed, y’know? I thiiink… That asking me a question like this is suuuuuper unfair. I think I’m a little introverted sometimes, weirdly. Usually, outside, I’m super friendly ‘n stuff, yeah? So like, when sometimes I’m at home I just won’t leave my room, eugh.”

Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):

What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:

“Surprisingly, I don’t think there’s a lot separating us. I DO think that I’m much more motivated to join, and having me would be like a breath of fresh air from all the folk that have been in the team for like, forever. No offence..! I have an interesting view on the world and I think that helps me make decisions much better. I have good senses, and can judge situations very well.”

Why do you want this position?:

“I need to do something with myself. I’ve been doing nothin’ but designing in my room ever since I left the college track team. Seeing this application opening is like a miracle for me. Other than that, I’d like to help the school’s environment. I’ve seen the school as a sort of toxic place, and I’d like to change that.”

What interests you the most about student council?:

“I want to understand the hierarchy and how this entire thing works. I’ve never been a part of anything similar. I feel like this could help me in the future, specifically in the job market! If I ever get one, this gosh darn AI’s takin’ everything..”

What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:

“I’m a very nice person. I can contribute mostly in areas that need delicate handling. I’ve worked before in customer support, and I know how to handle situations that could lead to breakdowns, surprisingly. I know that I can help people in this role, more than what I can now.”
