What's the title of your suggestion?: New School Team Addition
Suggestion:
Adding dodgeball to the teams
Explanation and benefits of the suggestion:
As all of the teams have settled in by now it could be the perfect situation to add dodgeball as a team aswell. The plugin is ready to be turned into a competitive scene which includes alot of elements to roleplay about. The setup and changes that would need to be made to get the team started are quite managle for what a huge addition to the roleplay, lore and events surrounding the school roleplay side of the server this could mean. Adding another team to the mix also ensures more situations and interactions between teams and the dodgeball-teams members itself to happen. The possibilities which this new team can bring are pretty much endless. If you are still not convinced about the whole idea then I could only suggest to try it out with a mixed gender team, which can prove to you what staggering difference and improvement just adding this team with the right leadership can lead to. Another valid reason to believe this can bring alot of players to indulge the schoolsports side of school roleplay is that it brings more variety of sports to choose from, making it easier for players to pick their right fit judging by their preference. In my eyes the amount of work that is needed to make this all possible is so slim in comparison to what great addition the dodgeball-team can bring.
Origin and commitment to it:
As the plugin already exists its a common thing for people to question why there isn't a dodgeball team already. If you would not have anyone in mind already I would offer myself to take on the responsebility of handling the leadership of the male team (or the mixed gender one if you decide to go with the trial idea). I have already gathered alot of peoples opinion on this matter and have been given the feeling that this would be something that alot of people not involved in any sports would even consider. The reactions towards this suggestion were greatly postive and even a few sports team members agreed that they would enjoy another team to roleplay with and create more situations to roleplay about. If this will be accepted then I will happily give it my all to ensure that the team will greatly improve the roleplay for everyone involved and provide a high quality of practices and events and so on.
Implementation:
I would assume the best time to create and implement the team would be before the update on the dodgeball plugin arrives as this can make space to build the team before people have to get straight into a changed/new plugin. This way the team can figure out the changes together and greatly profit from eachother.
