Patch Notes • 3.52
We have been working hard to fix all of the remaining bugs from before and after the 1.17 update, including bringing vehicles back, reintroducing the wardrobe feature, and changing the way our baseball plugin works. Server Changes
Below is a list of implemented changes made to SchoolRP within the last month.
Updates
- Updated fishing to include new rewards, including some exclusive items not sold anywhere else.
- Updated the Baseball plugin with many improvements and new game rules.
- Added new rides to the pier on the beach.
- Added an aquarium for Fish & Dolphin Animal Whitelists, and for players to visit In-Character.
- Changed Volleyball to include proper game rules, including scores up to 25 with a 2 point gap.
- Allowed Baseball & Volleyball scores to be previewed from outside the field/court.
- The clap command was changed to 'handshake' to accommodate the new Minecraft changes to animations.
- Added tons of new features for players with the Animal Whitelist.
- Preferences for collars, babies, and more will now save and load properly when a player logs back in.
- Roles & RPNames are now automatically shown above an Animal's head.
- Added new Bird and Dog variants, and added the new Raccoon whitelist.
- Added tons of new housing to fit the ever-growing player-base.
- Added Apartment Block I with over 80 new rentable apartments.
- Introduced share houses with 3-4 individual rooms to rent (over 30 rooms in total).
- Introduced 4 'Executive' Penthouses in the business park.
- Added an additional 10 apartments to block A & C.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the major role & rank bug, where people's prefixes would randomly disappear.
- Fixed & Re-added in-game vehicles.
- Fixed the wardrobe plugin to work with 1.17.1 Minecraft.
- Fixed several chat issues with filtering and link replacements.
- Fixed the Baseball inventory saving system to prevent item loss.
- Fixed appending messages not recognising default chat.
- Disabled & Fixed default Minecraft crafting, anvil use, etc.
- Fixed fishing plugin to work with 1.17 Minecraft.
Faction & Community Changes
Below is a list of changes made to server factions within the last month by our faction leaders.
School Factions
- The College hosted their first ever PHD graduation, this will now be available to Master's students ever 3-4 months.
- We graduated over 80 Highschool students to College Bachelor.
- Head of Department Teachers are now able to take on more responsibilities, including training, marking and setting assignments on the Academics Discord.
- Students are now limited to 1 library book submission per week.
- The School Nurse's office has been completely rebuilt.
- Some School Clubs have been given an additional 5 club member slots.
- A Club Rush was recently hosted to introduce players to the many opportunities available.
City Factions- Shopkeepers now have an improved system for restocking their shops in-game.
- Shopkeepers now have the ability to have their own 'shop panels' to help them manage their shop in and out of the game.
- The Emergency broadcast system has been changed to be done separately for both Police & Hospital factions.
- Police rules have been tweaked so that officers can no longer use their Glock 17 for headshots in most situations.
- An achievement system has been implemented to encourage Police activity.
- Guidelines for Police corruption have been created to enable more interesting roleplay to occur.
- The Government have released an official Constitution of Rights.
- All new members of the Government faction must undergo training upon being accepted.
- Karakura's Law document has been updated.
- The Sprays system has been updated within the Karakura Crime Discord to use a ticket system which will help staff respond to players a lot faster.
- Minor Gang events have been hosted around Karakura.
Community & Staff Team- The Builder trial system has been changed to be less intensive, and more relaxed.
- Builders now give their opinions on all Build applicants.
- Clickable signs for Folk Lore have been brought onto the map.
- Three designated major SchoolRP Events will take place on the Event server per year with different themes.
- Escuzme has been promoted to Senior Administrator.
- TaxEvasionFraud has been brought on as Trial Moderator.
- Aania has been brought on as Trial Moderator.
