QOTD 6: Before naming your character the name you gave them, what was the original 'Prototype' name for them?

the rest of my characters, i get attached to the name before anything else. take reiki for example; i had their name before even knowing what they looked like

Once I had old character ever, I nammed as old name.. America, then decided better as new name he has is Ame. . . (Why I did name my first character ever america... :thinks:) :P

seikai saiky went through about 5 different names, the options were

- kazami saiky
- seikai saiky (the decided name)
- kotoru saiky
- sekai saiky (without the i, meaning world which is now a hint to why he has a tattoo of the earth on his bicep)
- and one i cannot remember but it started with a K . probably the most irrelevant name

most of my character's naming I'm very specific with them. And in some cases the name alone is what identifies my characters. Meaning the names of my characters are both a prototype & a final concept.

Ex. Midori Takeshima: Midori (緑) means Green while her family name Takeshima (竹島) also refers to Bamboo Island: hence the Green Bamboo Islands of Japan.

Before Karasuya was renamed- her name was Naja LOL Which Naja just meant- little sister. . so I redid her lore and renamed her
