Describe your activity on the server:

GANG RP:

My experience in the world of GangRP or simply CrimeRP has played a massive role in enhancing my roleplay skills. At first, I struggled to adapt to DetailRP. I wasn't sure on where to start, nor was I comfortable actually starting to do activities for my gang. Then I realised that I wanted to climb the ranks in my gang, so I worked and trained everyday on my writing and detailing skills. When I finally found out where to start, I thought of writing the things that I would do in general in real life so I stuck to that. Then thanks to that idea I got really good into DetailRP. I also made sure to learn every single Rule in SRP to make sure to not accidentally break any.

Over time, I got good at detailing my actions, all thanks to my quick learning skills and the constructive criticism that had been given to me by my gang. I also started getting positive feedback from others in the GangRP community. I think that DetailRP is a key element in any roleplay, whether it's SchoolRP, RomanceRP, FamilyRP or CrimeRP. DetailRP brings a profound level of realism and immersiveness to actions.

Family RP:

Ever since I have joined SchoolRP I have been involved in a variety of families, roleplaying out numerous activities, such as family dinners, family meetings, general family hang outs, weddings of family members and also at times disputes. I’d really like to thank Niko who is the leader of the Hatake family. The Hatake family is the family that I have been in for over a year, so much has happened over the past year and a half, it had its peak and then its downfall. Our roleplay was really good, I met a lot of my friends that are still with me to this day. Our roleplay was so good, and I’m very proud of it to this day.

Along the years I made new friends and joined other families such as, these families I have left/been removed from because of purges or other issues; The Mayumi family, The Navarro family, The Lacrosse family, The Heydari family, The Mora family, The Holland family and The Nakazumi family. But there are numerous families that I am still inside of such as; The Jin-Ryuk family, The Kohima family, The Blaise family, The Hatake family, The Takada family, The Fujimoto family and The Grimes family. All these families are ones that I have a deep care for even to this day; whether I'm still inside or not. Though I have left multiple people, I still deeply care for them.

Council RP:

November sixth marks the day I was accepted into the High School Council faction. I have now been in it for a little over two weeks, however it feels like I have been in it for much longer. I roleplay so much in it, being online every single day, playing for countless hours. My character is growing in so much lore, discovering so many things. Her life is full of excitement, drama and an intriguing chain of events. The faction is teaching me things during school hours such as responsibility. The biggest factor that I OOCLY struggle with is to have to separate Kira’s out of school life and in school life. Over the past week I can admit that I have gotten used to it now, and find it rather easy, which I think will help me, if I get accepted as a Judge to separate my IC feelings out of work with my Judgement.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

What position are you applying for?:

I’m applying for the Lawyer position !

What is your motivation for applying?:

I believe that integrating the Government faction as a Lawyer will open up several unique and interesting role-play situations. Every time I’ve seen a Lawyer make their way to the Karakura Police Department to help their client, I’ve wanted to become one. I have always been interested in anything that’s a part of the legal system hence the will to become a Lawyer within the real world. I think that this job can seriously change the course of people’s lore within the server; whether they are arrested or simply detained. An innocent character could easily be arrested for something that they got dragged into, if I were their Lawyer I would do everything in my power to avoid jail. I want to be able to defend my IC clients in trial. I can also say that I am incredibly active within the server and apart from roleplaying as a Councillor I have nothing to do. Councillor RP is very interesting and fun but I feel like I can also take on a position as a Lawyer.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:

Yes, I have an intense understanding of Karakura’s laws and the Constitutional rights of any IC citizen, due to me spending countless hours reading and rereading them for certain things.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:

In the Government faction I have one main goal; create a roleplay driven story for one of my characters, I also want to learn as much as possible within the faction. I want to make new friends and work hard. I want to maybe progress within the faction and I intend on staying for a long time.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:

MAYOR:

The Mayor is in charge of overseeing all interactions within the Department. She is also a public figure, often expected to maintain a good image, because she is a representative of the Karakura Government.

DEPUTY MAYOR:

The Deputy Mayor is the Mayor’s second in command. They go together hand in hand, helping each other in a variety of different ways. She is also a public figure and must also maintain a good image, because she is a representative of the Karakura Government.

HEAD OF DEPARTMENT:

The Head of Department’s are incharge of their respective Department, they work with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor to maintain a fair constitution to all citizens and reviewing applications together.

JUDGE:

Judges are incredibly important to Karakura for many reasons their tasks follow as such;

- They must attend trials and conclude with a verdict.
- They must review cases to deem them good enough for a trial, or not.
- They must officiate marriages, linking two together.
- They must file restraining orders for other civilians.
- They must work at the front desk, assisting the public with questions or helping out with other things such as the paperwork to start filing a restraining order.
- They must approve adoption paperwork.

GOVERNOR:

Governors are important because they have a different approach towards the government, their work is quite different but same as Judges and Lawyers. They are also figures of the public, often lurking in public, checking for certain issues. Their tasks follow as such;

- They officiate marriages, binding people together.
- They must attend trials.
- They must survey the public, checking for certain issues that aren’t reported.
- They must approve adoption paperwork.
- They are in charge of performing shop inspections, to ensure that each shop is following the government’s rules and code.

LAWYER:

Lawyers have a different type of work. Whereas Judges work more privately and Governors work more with the public but still internally, Lawyers work entirely with the public. They are there to represent their clients, and protect their wishes. They have many duties, following as such;

- They must be available for attorney calls, whenever a citizen gets arrested and they request a legal representative, a lawyer must make their way to the Police Station to hear out their wishes and execute the civilian’s wishes as best they can.
- They must attend client meetings with their clients to discuss possible legal strategies about certain things, whether the client wants to sue someone for something or just answer general questions.
- They must file restraining orders with provided proof and wait for a Judge to approve it, after having it approved they would inform the person who the restraining order was placed on that they are not permitted to be near the victim or they could be sent to jail for failing to follow the order.
- Lawyers are supposed to work at the Front desk, answering general questions or getting new clients for certain things.
- Last but not least, lawyers must build up a client list, by doing a variety of things such as: working at the front desk, answering attorney calls or other things.

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:

I acknowledge that upon acceptance I am subject to removal at any given time.

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:

Yes, I have read all the Government Faction rules and I agree to abide by them.

IN CHARACTER SECTION

Full name:

Upon entering the room Ashton bowed before the interviewer; a common courtesy in Japan. He listened attentively to the interviewer’s question then opened his mouth to speak. His voice came out firm, calm and had a spark of confidence. “The name’s Ashton Jin-Ryuk.” He replied, his eyes trailing the interviewer’s face to look for any sign of discomfort. He tapped his finger tips onto the table patiently, his eyes roaming around the room.

Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):

He thought for a moment, processing the rapid oral questionnaire making sure not to mishear or not hear anything. He ran a hand through his hair. “I identify as a male so Mr Jin-Ryuk works just fine.” He explained, thinking that it was pretty obvious. His eyes kept darting around, noticing some random details, like how the clock hadn’t been moving, or how a book was out of place on the mini shelf.

Current age:

He nodded along whilst the interviewer asked his next question. He adjusted his tie, making sure he was looking dapper. “I am currently at the age of thirty two.” He replied, a light hint in his tone that this wasn’t a difficult question for him.

Date of birth:

Ashton tapped the table softly, thinking seriously about the question. “I was born on a stormy night of January 5th 1993” He explained, his hands gesturing what he was saying.

Academic Background:

Whilst the interviewer was speaking Ashton had already understood the next question; his degrees. He pulled his briefcase from the floor, setting it onto the desk. He carefully unlocked the front and pulled it open. Inside laid a variety of different papers, including his bachelor's degree in Law. “I have a Bachelor’s degree in Law.” A pause followed. “I went to Harvard then moved to Japan.” He explained, pushing the certificate towards the interviewer.

Work experience:

Ashton started thinking about when he was eighteen, the nostalgia hit quickly. "Fresh out of High School, at eighteen I started off as a legal secretary. I assisted Lawyers in preparing documents, in arranging meetings between the Lawyers and the Clients and I organised a lot of legal files. I worked as a legal secretary for eight years, I truly loved working with Lawyers and with law. My boss saw potential in me, and pushed me to go to Harvard, where I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Law. Sadly the firm shut down before I could become an official Lawyer. Then I moved to Karakura." He hummed, wondering if his work experience was good enough or not.

Nationality & born location:

Ashton thought for a moment, his fingers subconsciously tapped against his palm, he thought about when he was born, where exactly. “I was born in New York, but I am Russian because of my mother being Russian." He smiled at the interviewer.

Criminal record:

Ashton furrowed his brows, not expecting this question. “While I don’t mind defending accused civilians of being criminals; innocent until proven guilty, I am against breaking the law.” A pause followed, Ashton caught his breath. “I have no criminal record and I intend to keep it that way.”

What makes you a good candidate for this job?:

Hummed for a moment, not one hundred percent sure as to how to answer this. “I am the perfect candidate for becoming a lawyer at the Karakura Town Hall for a variety of reasons; such as me being very committed to it, I’m ready to spend countless hours working to assist my co-workers and the public. I am someone who is motivated and deeply moved by this job, I am serious about this, I have the work experience and I know what I am doing thanks to being a legal secretary.”
