What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
Roleplaying has always been a part of my life - if anything, it's a hobby I hold dearly. Being able to portray a character with their own characteristics and flaws, as well as the possibility of interacting with other players are part of the magic for me. I've had plenty experience in various fields of RP, and being an old-timer, they're not limited to Minecraft or RPH. On the scope of SRP, though: I'm in the community since 2021, and had many opportunities to partake in various roleplaying dynamics and scenarios - from playing a wrinkled lawyer on the verge of his law career, to a mean college student who finds dealing with her feelings troublesome and difficult. Beyond SRP, I also have experience portraying a paramedic in the neighbouring game. Nonetheless, my roleplaying experiences always came with the passion of being able to interact with and include those who share the same setting as me; the other players. That is what, to me, makes roleplaying so fun and interesting.
What is your motivation for applying?
I've always been interested in the secrets and means behind the Hospital Faction, and would love to be introduced to it. Although I have some experience roleplaying a paramedic, playing a doctor who's stationed at a hospital is something I've always wanted to try. I find the environment of a hospital setting intriguing and interesting, as well as the possibilities that exist behind roleplaying with potential patients and fellow hospital staff.
Which role are you applying for?
Doctor.
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Doctor: This role is the center piece of the infrastructure of Karakura Hospital. They tend to and establish the caring line with patients, and usually limit their workplace to the confines of the hospital building. The Karakura Hospital has many doctors, each specialized in different fields, although all of them serve the same purpose: to serve and to care for the Karakura citizens. Doctors prevent, diagnose and treat many illnesses. Doctors are led by and respond to their respective Clinical Lead, who's not only in charge of the Doctor Department, but also in charge of how caring and healing methods are carried out, ensuring that each and every patient are attended in the most appropriate way.
Psychiatrist: These professionals, among the doctors, have years of academic knowledge and serve the same previously mentioned purpose: to care for patients. However, psychiatrists play a much different role - they resort to methods aimed to attend a patient's mental and psychological needs, through careful strategies that are used in therapy and other services that benefit one's mental health. Like doctors, psychiatrists diagnose and treat mental diseases and disorders. Psychiatrists are in the Psychiatrist Department, and are led by and respond to their respective Clinical Lead.
Paramedics: These could be compared to the frontlines of an urban conflict - Paramedics are outside workers, although still contained within the Hospital's pay grade, who respond to emergency calls, perform first aid in order to establish the pacient, and transport them to the Hospital for further and more specialized care. Paramedics are immensely important, and are a crucial piece of Karakura's public services. Paramedics respond to the Chief Paramedic, who is in charge of the entirety of the Emergency Department.
Leadership: The Karakura Hospital is led by a Director, who's in charge of the faction's administrative and management affairs. Along with him, the hospital counts with many higher-ups, each responsible for managing a specific sector and/or department. Clinical Leads are assigned to a specific department, in which they must lead and are responsible for. CLs are assisted by a Clinical Supervisor, who ensures the department is being run smoothly, and that all staff are attending to higher-ups' expectations.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I do.

Character Backstory (Optional):
Soga Shoji was born in the Koshi prefecture, in the small municipality of Shimanto which, at the time he was born - 1997 -, had a population of roughly 39,000. He was harbored by a mother and a father, both whom were farmers and contributed to the town's food production line. S. Shoji was exposed to labour very early in life, holding a hoe for the first time when he was twelve - the farm life was peaceful and tranquil, devoided of much complexity or outside attention. In fact, Shoji knew nearly all of the kids in his neighborhood, and was good friends with most of them.
The kid's education was modest, although better than the one his parents and ancestors had. After all, in 2010, when he was thirteen, techonology and outside government influence were already present in the small and quiet town. Soga progressed with his studies and acquired a particular interest in science and biology - learning about the human body, cells and all the diseases was enough to keep him committed to school; it made him look forward to another class. In foresight, Soga had graduated, though the limitations imposed by the small municipality would come to bother and even discourage the now eighteen years-old man from pursuing his future.
It was late-2017 - Shoji had a full-time job at one of the many stores in Shimanto, and has been commuting to and from his workplace for nearly a year and a half. He was established, and the expectations of ever moving into the big city had almost completely escaped from the scope of his mind - after all, he had grown used to the peaceful, although boring life he led. This time, however, expectations for the yearly family reunion were high - it was nearly the end of the year, and Oshogatsu, celebrated on the 1st of January, was next week. Family members from all the corners of Japan come to the small town and celebrate this much important date, and along with them, would come Soga's uncle - a well-renowed physician and professor for the University of Osaka, a sibling of Shoji's mom's who was more-than-aware of the man's interests and dreams - he was there to celebrate his school graduation, after all.
The day came, and after a heated dinner which mixed Soga's father's conservative values and discouragement of the son's career choices with the uncle's encouragement and expertise, a commitment was made; "Come with me to Osaka and let's give continuation to your studies" was the sentence responsible for the most important turn in Shoji's life. And with such, in early-2018, he reached the big city, alongside his uncle, and gave his dreams a brand new opportunity and beginning. Establishing himself amongst the tall buildings, cars and busy people was difficult at first, but it didn't stop the man from building his story through intense studying and commitment.
Fast forward, in 2023, at last, Shoji was graduating and being granted both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. During that year, however, Osaka's hospitals were fully staffed, granting spots only to those who'd come to do excellent in its entrance exam. Despite having graduated, Soga didn't have the confidence to try, and also didn't want to feel behind. Once again, the man found himself working at an entry job, instead of exerting the job of his dreams. It was frustrating, to say the least - he was struck with the thoughts that had misled him and made him waste years of his life. However, his uncle, as always, would prove himself to be the center piece, and the final weapon of encouragement Soga needed, although an initiative would take a few years.
In the current year of 2025, however, Shoji ponders and finally comes to an action. After his uncle's encouragement and many advices, the man grants him a sentimental, thoughtful farewell. His savings were just enough for him to fly oversea in search for yet another opportunity. Karakura, an islandic city far from Japan's coast, was in national news due to its high crime and violence rate. With a sense of solidarity and justice, Soga picked this exact city to attempt the beginning of his career. If anything, he thought, a city drowned in chaos and crime has got to have a staff-needed hospital. With no experience, carrying only his clothes and belongings in a bag, along with courage and determination, Shoji inserts himself into the community of Karakura and rapidly seeks an opportunity into the Karakura General Hospital's staff, as a new, professionally inexperienced doctor.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Emergency Medicine | Soga's academic story revolves around emergency medicine. The tense, challenging moments of having to work under the pressure of many lives has always been a drive of encouragement for him - not on a sadist side, but due to his simple and plain belief that he'd be able to save much more lives if he was part of the front line of aiding and care, instead of being a clinical doctor.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
No. Soga Shoji is a recently-graduated man with no professional experience in any medical position. Although not entirely devoided of knowledge, since he did have a master's in medicine, Shoji was almost totally oblivious to hospital protocols and operations. His knowledge was limited to concepts and procedures.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Soga Shoji is a Japanese man who stands at roughly 179cm - his hair held a brown hue, only long enough for those brown strings to frame the center of his face. Despite his age, he looked somewhat young. He had no beard beside a beside a trimmed moustache. When he did allow for hair to grow on his face, that'd be a reflection of his own mental state and being. Despite it all, he's a charismatic and, to those who are more intimate to him, very attentive. A certain sense of humor accompanied by a few timed jokes played a crucial role in his personality, being portrayed as a fun individual - whether or not his humor was matching of others', that's a different story. Despite an off-hands approach, Soga wouldn't dare showing up to work with a messy uniform. His coat wouldn't pass a day without looking tidy and clean, as if the man who wears it gave extra attention to his image amongst his co-workers.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Shoji would portray himself to be a very polite individual, professional all the way, although personally unstable at certain times. For being an inexperienced, still-in-training doctor, Soga wouldn't exactly be ready for everything, although would give his best, but his doctor career would come to test his limits and mostly flaws, which until then, would be unknown even to his own self. He was still professionally immature, devoided of any experience of ever working in such a rigid environment or carrying any important attributions. However, at the end of the day, Soga was a man who had nothing but good intentions, and the will to serve and aid. Perhaps, his excitement would get the best of him, or his anger issues would come to render his interpersonal relationships. Who knows? In the end, however, nothing could beat or overcome his passion for medicine. Despite his inexperience, the man was more than able of dividing serious, professional moments from off-topic, no-one-is-dying ones. He'd use the latter to express his fun and spontaneous personality, and would come to be seen as the fun, outgoing doctor. Or he'd instead become the annoying work colleague. Every workplace has those two, no inbetween. Which one will Soga become?
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Being a newbie in the medicine field, Shoji could come to deeply appreciate the presence and assistance of his work colleagues, and even learn how to work within a team and support others. His reliance on others, specially during training, would teach him how to value team work and mutual cooperation.
