What are your current roles on the server?:
Currently, no roles other than four Grade-12 roles and one Grade-8 role. Though previously I have been the Captain of the Bobcat Females Basketball team, as well as more recently been a member of the Bobcat Cheer team.
Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are an absolutely crucial part of SRP. I mean, the name of the server is literally SCHOOL Roleplay, the main objective of the server is to go to school make friends and roleplay however you feel. As a server classes must absolutely be provided, its a foundation of the server and keeps people together. This is also a large social gathering, many people may come together to learn actual facts which some other players/teachers genuinely know. On top of that, it allows for the server to become a community, roleplaying together, some of the people you may know, some of the others you may not know and that's really the fun reality of it! Overall, without the teachers of SRP, the server couldn't even function, there would be a lack of sense of community, and lesser players to actually play together.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes

What's your character's full name?: "My name?" Did she not know her name? Why did she even repeat this question? "My full name is Vienna-" The next part was mumbled, it was clear she didn't like her middle name. "Charlotte" her voice went back to it's normal range. "Meadows." She held a precious grin on her face.
What is your character's nationality?: She would smile, many memories of her past coming back to her. "I am Canadian." She calmly stated this, her hands politely resting on her lap, her purse sitting directly behind her hands on her lap.
What is your preferred subject to teach?: Science (Biology)
Describe your character:
The woman in front of you had a pale complexion to her skin, complimented by her gentle dark red locks. Her eyes were a deep blue complexion, looking into them would make you lose yourself, the woman truly was beautiful. She looked way younger than she was, maybe even possibly to be mistaken for a student at times? Vienna was born January 13th 1990, this made the woman thirty-six years old. On her left hand she wore a quite large wedding ring, it was mostly diamond, flashing the interviewer, it was actually nearly blinding them! Though, she used the title Ms. Meadow, was the woman still holding onto a past marriage? Was she widowed? Who knew! it would certainly be offensive to ask her though, right? Vienna wore an orange shirt with a spotless white top underneath it, the sleeves were slightly frilled for dramatic effect. In contrast, she wore deep blue colored jeans. This outfit seemed to fit the woman perfectly. The woman's teaching style could only be compared to a slightly more stern Ms. Frizzle! She would try her best to wear colorful outfits and actually make learning fun. This trait alone set her aside from so many other teachers, it was clear the woman truly cared about students having fun and learning at the same time rather than being boring and keeping everything in life the exact same boring thing.
What is your character's outlook on students and co-workers?:
Vienna would blink a few times, fixing her posture while she eyed the interviewer. She would clear her throat politely and look around the room with her eyes, all of which was an attempt towards buying herself more time for a good answer.
"On co-workers, I believe that we need to be a strong team. There's absolutely no way that we can get everything done without working together and trying our hardest!" She seemed to think for a moment, pausing. "Actually- On that topic, I think students also need to be a team. Even in the classroom teamwork is extremely important and it's my job to show our students that, because who else will if I don't? The students will have to work in teams their entire lives, no matter if they're in school, working a job, or even at a family event playing a game! Teamwork is absolutely critical.. I guess my main outlook is that everybody can be taught something, no matter if they're 18 years old, or 80 years old!" The woman smiled, clearly proud of her answer which she thankfully had bought a few seconds of time for earlier.
What is your character's motivation for teaching?:
She would once again clear her throat. "I have been teaching for a few years already, not here, I was a teacher in Port Ness California before I moved here with.." She stopped there, her missing husband came up! Uh-oh! "Never mind that.. Uhm- I just really do think that it's a really treat to watch students become excited to come to my class, many students hate their schedule, they have really boring teachers and they do nothing all day! My class is hands on and I love to teach it! Also seeing students go through a harder time in my class then finally understanding it and really just crushing the class, its truly amazing, a miracle to watch even!" There was a small gleam in her eyes, she truly did love to teach students, it was clear that they were always on her mind and her top priority! Not whoever this man who gave her this ring was, she didn't even like that guy anyways, right?
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
The bottom of the plants pot would gently trickle water into a ceramic tray under it. Ms. Meadow would watch the water dribble before calmly turning around to face the hard working class of hers! Ms. Meadow would slowly take a stroll around the class, observing how much work each set of partners had done. She then stopped in her tracks, seeing a pair of students who were obviously frustrated with the material in front of them. "Do you two need any help?" The woman questioned them, the students merely looked up with a nod, pointing to the question they were stuck on. Ms. Meadow would crouch down, reading the material they were stuck on. "What are you two having trouble with here?" She would calmly question them, keeping her eyes at their level to make sure they felt more comfortable. It was clear to her they hadn't listened too well to the lesson earlier, but she wasn't mad. "Okay- The stomata is found where on the leaf?" She paused allowing for the students to answer. "Correct, on the outer layer of the leaf, or the epidermis." Another pause. "Now- where would you find the most of them?" She gently shook her head no at the student's incorrect answer. "sorry, that's incorrect, but good try! Now, the most stomata would be found on the bottom of the leaf, can you think why?" She held silence for the two, neither of them seemed to have an answer. "Its because the plant finds it easier to reduce water loss from the harsh sun and it's evaporation, as well as there's more protection from the wind. Now, that doesn't mean that stomata are only on the bottom, sometimes they can be found on the top, but the ratio of top to bottom is much smaller." She smiled, watching as the two students finally understood. "If you need me again, raise a hand or come up to my desk, I'm never too busy to help!" Ms. Meadow would stand to her feet, calmly continuing her lap around the room. She then made her way back to the desk, sitting at it and calmly watching the students work together, all following her teaching thesis! Having fun while also coming together to learn teamwork.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Vienna was speaking calmly, pointing to her drawings on the board. "Now, as you guys mold your clay into miniature leaves, take note of all the different layers represented by the different colors we are using!" As she was turning to look at the class, a large piece of green clay would fly across the room, hitting another student in the head. It was clear she was furious! Was this a bullying attempt? A joke? It didn't matter to her, it wasn't going to continue in her class. She stepped up calmly to the student, careful to not make a scene. She would whisper to the student, "You need to go grab that piece of clay and apologize to Ms. Marijune, got it? If you don't do so, I will get SLT involved and hold you after class.. Now go!" This was totally out of character for her, she didn't seem like she would be too stern, more of a laid back teacher really! She watched as the student went and apologized to the girl who was hit with clay, the piece was picked up and thrown away. The student took his seat once again and Ms. Meadow would place a piece of candy on his desk. "Good job. Now don't do it again, okay? This is a bribery to not mess around again, not a treat for your bad behavior." She laughed it off, she was obviously just being hard on the student, but she really was serious as well!

It was a clear adventure for the class! It was written in large words on the whiteboard, the letters would have plants hidden inside of them if it was possible, everything seemed so colorful! How did she do all of this? The students alongside Ms. Meadows would all go up to the school rooftop and observe many different plants. The students would then select which plant they want and carefully excavate it from the ground. Both the teacher and students would return to class and pot their new plants! All students would have to fill out a small worksheet and attach it to the side of their plant's pot.

The classroom would have the desks shoved out of the way! The lab stations were looking very tidy and free to sit at! At each lab station, there was a leaf from a epipremnum aureum and a clear bottle of nail polish next to it. What! The microscopes were out with rolls of tape as well. In this activity, students will gently paint the underside of the leaf with the clear nail polish. They will then wait for the nail polish to dry and place a piece of clear tape on top of the polish once dry. Students will then remove the piece of tape and stick it to a clear microscope slide. Students will observe the slide under the microscope and see the stomata of the leaf! They will then have to fill out a few questions about the lab.
NAME: DATE:
How many stomata do you see? __________
What is the purpose of the stomata and why might you find more of them on the underside of the leaf rather than the top? _________
Below draw a picture of what you and your group sees inside of the microscope. This isn't graded for your artistic ability, but please still try!
