Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I do acknowledge that a demotion could be due to the fact of inactivity.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I’m applying to become a receptionist.
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
School receptionists are the first ones to greet a student player and or guest as they enter the building. Oftentimes, like in the setting of how SRP’s Karakura school is built, it’s because they sit by the front desk or office. Receptionists support the enrolled pupils by guiding them if lost (quite literally as they tell them where a certain location may be), or informing them on other questions of curiosity. With the capability of assisting a student, they should be significantly well in patience, effective communication, and have knowledge on the general construction of the campus.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
In the past, I have joined two other roleplay servers aside from SchoolRP. Unlike this one, the main focus of the other servers weren’t merely close to grasping the full intent of surrounding a school-based roleplay. But in addition, I was promoted as a staff member in one where I took time to be thorough in management and of course, roleplay.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
[In the situation of still being behind the desk]
Ondine would get up from her chair as she’d try to get level-headed with the angered student who was standing. She would make clear that describing her in that way (of being pathetic) doesn’t affect her. Ondine would remind them that they were in a public setting and that the sudden outrage could encourage the students bystanding negatively. She would offer to bring them to the counsellors office and or if it came to an extent, send them to detention or the Principal/Vice Principal’s office.
[In the situation of being outside of the help desk/Helping a student get to a location]
Ondine, although confused, wouldn’t question why the individual would call her pathetic, not wanting to impose more on the subject. Rather, Ondine would make them recall that she was helping them, and shouldn’t hold such a grudge-like attitude toward her. The same as stated above although; She would offer to bring them to the counsellors office and or if it came to an extent, send them to detention or the Principal/Vice Principal’s office.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
To get them to notice her authority figure (as a school employee) was present, Ondine would raise her voice (AKA /yell). She would say what would be along the lines of reprimanding them both to stop and for them, and everyone watching, to part ways and scatter. Although wanting to interfere, Ondine is of a rather petite build- in realism, she would probably get injured. So instead of getting into the crossfire, she would probably call over a better suited faculty to split the delinquents up. Furthermore, the two pupils would get a detention strike for inflicting violence, especially on school grounds. Detention would also be invoked to anyone still in the area.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Walking up to the peer, Ondine would notify them that this is not to be done working in their profession. In hopes, the employee would be a nice co-worker of hers so she would try to warn them as a friend rather than patronizing them. Ondine would tell them a private place would be a better place for their actions to be revealed- an adult, and mainly one who’s a school employee is a role-model towards the students shouldn’t do such that could infringe on the youth. (It would be brought to staff OOCly if gone to a degree that bypasses server guidelines).
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
After a long day's work at school or during breaktime, Ondine would be there to relax over a cup of tea or other refreshments. She would reflect on her behaviour/how well she did at her work during that day (or day so far for breaktime). She would sit by friendly co-workers, or with her approachable aura (a bubbly personality of sorts), one may join her- chatting professionally with them overall, conversations ranging from subjects of certain students, discipline, receiving advice from experienced employees and giving to new ones.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me &d her expression would be of a gasp, yet not audibly, quickly switching to a brilliant smile, one that would perfectly capture and enlarge the apples of her cheeks &f”So you’re new! That’s so exciting, welcome to Karakura! I’m Miss Kjaer- a receptionist at this highschool-college combo!” &d she’d gently tap on the top of the desk &f”Please feel free to locate yourself here for questions, I’ll gladly help.”
/me &d briskly pushing her seat in, she’d make the exit out of the front desk, then would pause recalling her memory saying; &f”The cafeteria you said- Alright! Right this way.” &d she’d reach her arms out leading toward the direction &f”Please follow along!”
/me &d smoothly stopping her tracks, she’d turn around, facing back to the student, a sweet smile being her expression. &f”This right here would be the gymnasium!” &d she’d use both her arms to point over at both the courts beside them &f”These are for basketball… we also have a volleyball, soccer, baseball…- oh!- and dodgeball court of course!- if that’s what you were curious about alongside?” &d she’d tilt her head, her smile slowly turning dazed waiting for a response, one brow would be raised slightly higher.

Backstory
[Character is still a WIP so there may be some modifications in the future]
Ondine was born to a Korean mother and Danish father in Gyeongsan, South Korea. Both parents being married and loving dearly of their daughter, they had the burden of a financial struggle. Working late hours at numerous jobs made them absent, not having the easy capability to care for their daughters' needs. Starting at age eight, she would often come home from school with her older brother, Beau, who was sixteen, in guardianship. She watched sorrowfully as her brother's mental and physical health spiralled down before her. Beau would leave her home for drinking, smoking, the use of drugs, or being under the influence of other appalling substances. To reflect, she thinks the hours of having to care for herself in youth is what made her so independant. Luckily, for what could have been ongoing for many more, he got treatment from rehab after six years. What was sought after by anyone who knew the family, it was a good thing. Ondine did think that, but it came along with a toll for her as everyone close grew distant.
This melancholy state would be replaced when she entered sophomore year- Ondine met her supposed high-school sweetheart. She felt complete near him, he filled her heart with worth. For he’d be abusive (she realised looking back), she would yet be blinded by the redflags and common deal breakers in need of a constant figure like him. They graduated together, even going to the risky stretch of moving with him to Tokyo, Japan at age 18. Her parents disliked this idea and warned her- that not working as Ondine ignored them, ending on bad terms with them. She enrolled in Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo city to major in fashion design (yes, totally unexpected) in hopes that her “future husband” would be the one with the stable income.
Right before the summer entering the second year of college, a bulldozer ran over Ondine’s life plan. Her boyfriend broke up with her, and yet again Ondine was by herself, not even with the support of her parents. She was in disbelief of surviving in a big city like Tokyo, mostly for financial and mental reasons, so as soon as summer started, she booked a plane ticket to a small town her friend recommended; Karakura, Japan.
This was a fresh, new slate for Miss Ondine, a new area adaptable by picking up her broken pieces. She decided on contacting her parents, even Beau. Essentially explaining her situation, her parents forgave Ondine. In Karakura Community College, she switched to and established communications as her degree. Although still being able to pursue a fashion related job with it, the major was more broad where she could go into many fields.
Out of college at 22 with a bachelors to her major of choice, Ondine decided to work abroad- somewhere with significant roots to her. She flew across the world, landing in Copenhagen, Denmark. With the subtle amount of Danish she learned from her father, Ondine was applicable as a hotel receptionist- that being where she met a long-lasting friend, who also helped enhance her Danish speaking ability.
As a year went by in Denmark, she felt that she had fulfilled her fun experience for the time being and made her way back to Karakura once again. Being now 23, she wanted a different criteria of work, that being said, her job application as a journalist editor got accepted. She felt content with her life- now over her rough past, things were going smooth.
Still young, she had a serendipitous world of opportunities ahead of her, a whole future to continue. With that considered,, Ondine was convinced to carry on her journey with “tiny house living” all the way to Adelaide, Australia. She continued with the job as a journalism editor in the land down under, this time being easier to get as she had past experience with the same job. Of course, visiting other places alongside, Ondine always came back to her cozy Australian home- it came to the point where she was eligible for citizenship (5 years of residence). This made her come to the realization of how long she’d truly stayed in one place. Ondine skipped becoming a true Australian citizen and flew back to Karakura yet again. Still treasuring and adoring her custom Adelaide home, she kept the small property for vacation purposes- she needed a full time job to stay on top of payments… perfect for the position opening as the local high-schools receptionist job!
Motivation for Joining KHS:
The majority of my life involved much experience and maturity, where I’ve lived abroad numerous amounts of time. If I were to get this job as a receptionist, it would allow the school to engage the students in a better account of diversity as I’d have the ability to inform them on foreign-relations. Now, everytime I go overseas, I get led back to Karakura where I’ve decided to settle since my thirties are forthcoming. Being said, I’m interested in a full time job. Alongside, I’m a major in communications, using it to become a hotel receptionist for a year and a journalist editor furthermore. Rather than typing and or writing being the main focus like my previous job, I would like to balance it by having a more verbal career. With a rather rough path to get to where I am now, I am particularly interested in a school setting as I can help the youth.
Do you have any previous experience working in a school environment? If so, please elaborate (If not, respond with "N/A"):
If being employed at a daycare center fits the answer qualifications, then yes! Moving to Tokyo, Japan straight out of college, I now admit was impulsive, made my parents not on board with supporting my decision. Although being young, I am certified in CPR and First Aid by training in my past life in South Korea for babysitting- that definitely helped the decision of my application! I took the job as I had to find a good substitute for my parents absence to pay my college tuition. My colleagues had helped out here and there, which I’m grateful for, but I didn’t want to just freeload. I worked there for my freshman year of college till I moved to Karakura Community College. I was luckily able to maintain a job at a local daycare center here also. This went on for my second and third year of college. My senior year was strictly focused on my studies.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I believe I am a very dedicated individual, willing to accompany and give an extra hand to the pupils of Karakura High-school and Community College- essential to a receptionist profession along with good communications and a wide range of services that can tend toward a curious student. Being a babysitter and daycare specialist, I also have come to understand adolescents' behavior efficiently.
