Toaster Bun™#5414
What is your time zone?:

Describe your activity on the server:
I have a tendency to be very active on my alt, but I wish to change that with a change of occupation that might be a bit less stressful. I come on at least 3 hours every other day at least.
Have you ever been banned (If yes, when and why?):
No
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I do.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
School nurse
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
School nurses are meant to ensure each student's physical health and wellbeing, being qualified to provide basic first aid or healthcare to any students that require it during an emergency situation or incident. They are there to provide medical attention and prevent injury during and on school hours.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I've been roleplaying since a young age, and I'd say I've polished my RP skills well over those many years. I've recently added to this with 2 or 3 months on the EMS team, so I believe that I know all I need.

Situations
/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
I mostly try to ignore it, lightly dismissing them for the time being. If they persist, I give them a few more minutes to rethink their actions before I decide call a councilor to the nurse's office (where I presume this is taking place) to let them handle the student.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
I attempt to break up the fight and ensure no other students are harmed. I call another staff member and/or councilor to speak with the initiators of the fight and treat any bruises or wounds they may have before they start to resolve the actual issue that lead to this.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
If there is any medical danger that is possible, I should intervene and secure the area to ensure no one can be injured first. Afterwards, inform a superior as soon as possible.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
While of course she'd be friendly and polite to her co-workers, she mostly keeps to herself if possible. Although she isn't one for workplace-talk, she does try to connect with her fellow staff members every now and then.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me gently and meticulously cleaned the cut with a cloth dampened with antiseptic, being careful as not to completely drench the wound and also as to keep it's sting to a minimum. "You really shouldn't be rough-housing on the top of stairs, and I best not see you in here again for the same issue." She lightly scolded, wrapping the wound securely with a bit of gauze and seal the wrap with some medical tape.
/me would retrieve the ice pack from the freezer, wrapping it in a thin towel so it's cold exterior wasn't too discomforting. She handed it to the student sitting down on the bed for them to use as they rested up. After this, she handed them a few blankets they requested before taking her seat at the front desk again with occasional check-ins with the student.
/me sat the pale looking student down in the infirmary bed, passing them a bucket as she went and retrieved a thermometer. She pressed it in between the student's arm, taking their temperature. "Next time, PLEASE don't push yourself to come into school if you feel this sick." She sighed, reading the thermometer. "See? You're sick. You can rest here until school ends, or until your parents come to pick you up."

Backstory
As with most of the people who end up in Karakura, her home life growing up wasn't the greatest. A pitiful, sickly little girl born to a narcissistic and vindictive mother, an unknown father, and under a family healthcare business going under bankruptcy. Her only true allies were her 8 known siblings at the time and her aunt, who treated Keiki like her own child. One day, her aunt decided to take a stand to defend her and sent her off to Japan to live with a friend of hers. Unfortunately, miscommunications were made and she ended up stranded in Karakura at the age of 13. Essentially, orphaned.
To cope with the many traumatic incidents she faced in her youth and adolescence (Experiences I will not go into detail with here), she buried herself in different kinds of work, into her own wellness and into weight training, into her medical study aspirations, she had even traveled to America for a short while and learned English while she interned in a hospital
After a while of this she met the most extraordinary person in her life, one Dylan Edgeworth. He's changed her life unlike anyone else, able to get her to see the good in such a tragedy stricken town, helped her cling to life when she felt like she just couldn't hold on anymore. she went on to marry him, having her first daughter Melody not long after. This entirely changes her views, catapulting her towards the finish line of graduation. After this, she became a surgeon in Karakura hospital in hopes to help others as much as possible, to look out for people like she had needed when she was younger.
Alas, it backfired much harder than she anticipated. And after four years without enough free time in the day to see her husband and daughter to combat the stresses of keeping people alive, it was detrimental to her state of mind. So, she decided to try and find another job that wasn't as... Psychologically straining, to put lightly, pacing herself until she was tough enough to face the ER again.
Motivation for Joining KHS:
EMS work was quite stressful for me- I hadn't anticipated how demanding and strenuous the work was until I actually got there. My husband suggested I be a school nurse instead as to get a bit of the stress off my conscience.
Do you have any previous experience working in a school environment? If so, please elaborate (If not, respond with "N/A"):
N/A
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
Although my aspirations for medical work haven't worked out the best for me in the past, I still wish to help people to the best of my ability. With that being said, I want to guarantee that the students of today get the treatment, safety and care that they need to do great things, as well as guaranteeing that their educators get the same treatment for them to do their jobs to the best of their ability.
