GANG RP:

My experience in the world of GangRP or simply CrimeRP has played a massive role in enhancing my roleplay skills. At first, I struggled to adapt to DetailRP. I wasn't sure on where to start, nor was I comfortable actually starting to do activities for my gang. Then I realised that I wanted to climb the ranks in my gang, so I worked and trained everyday on my writing and detailing skills. When I finally found out on where to start, I thought on writing the things that what I would do in general in real life so I stuck to that. Then thanks to that idea I got really good into DetailRP. I also made sure to learn every single Rule in SRP to make sure to not accidentally break any.

Over time, I got good at detailing my actions, all thanks to my quick learning skills and the constructive criticism that had been given to me by my gang. I also started getting positive feedback from others in the GangRP community. I think that DetailRP is a key element in any roleplay, whether its SchoolRP, RomanceRP, FamilyRP or CrimeRP. DetailRP brings a profound level of realism and immersiveness to actions.

SCHOOL RP:

In SchoolRP, I learned how to adapt to a more structured and socially focused environment. This type of roleplay emphasises character development, interactions in a school setting, and realistic communication. It’s where I first began to focus on creating a consistent character personality and backstory. SchoolRP taught me how to stay in character during casual conversations and how to handle situations that don’t always involve action or conflict, but still require engagement and immersion.
It also introduced me to more collaborative roleplay styles, like group interactions, clubs, and classroom settings, which helped me develop patience and communication skills, both IC and OOC. SchoolRP was a great foundation for building the softer, more social side of my roleplay abilities.

ROMANCE RP:

RomanceRP has helped me understand how to portray emotions, build long-term character relationships, and maintain realism in more personal and subtle roleplay scenarios. It taught me the importance of pacing, character chemistry, and respecting boundaries within RP. Through RomanceRP, I’ve improved my ability to write natural conversations and explore emotional depth in my characters without forcing anything. It also reinforced the importance of consent, communication, and keeping things respectful and immersive. Overall, it added another layer of maturity and nuance to how I approach character interaction.

FACTION RP:

I've now been in the Professor faction for almost two months, and I have seen a change in myself, I have noticed have I have seen what it's like to play SRP in an Adult character's vision. This faction has/is showing me how to plan lessons, how to stay calm with students even when they push your nerves, thanks to this faction I think I am ready to become a ShopKeeper. Then during classes's this faction has also taught me to know how to DetailRP at a high pace since students may get bored sometimes and it's my class which is at stake. These classes also teach me about real life subjects for an example, Economics.

What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:

I am, personally, deeply drawn to the Reporter Faction. Not just because it offers a unique form of roleplay and a great opportunity to engage with the other players and factions. It will allow me to connect to a wide range of storylines and experiences from all over Karakura. Being a reporter means writing reports, and conducting interviews, and immersing myself in other players roleplay daily. That's exactly the kind of activity I enjoy. A few months ago, I learned about the Journalism Club within the School and immediately wanted to join. This faction encourages detailed roleplay and allows me to learn much more about the server.

My interest began when my character (Yumi Kiochi-Nakazumi) who was previously part of the Professor Faction, encountered a Reporter. They started to converse and this Reporter not only shared interesting lore and character insights with me but also inspired me personally! I realized journalism allows characters to explore and observe the server from many different angles. Whether documenting major events like the Storm Event or investigating actual criminal activity such as the Black Market Dealers attacking the Karakura Police Station.

Joining this faction would allow me to meet new people, conduct interviews, and create exposés.

I am already an very active writer in four different Discord servers. That includes the Thrift Store, Sashiko Corop, Elysian, and Cartier, and I believe becoming a Reporter in SchoolRP will help me refine my skills, expand my creativity, and strengthen my vocabulary.

Another reason as to why I would like to join the reporter faction is because, my entire time in SchoolRP ever since I first joined in October 2025 I believe, my main focus has always been CrimeRP, or GangRP, recently I have realised that my very good friend, was right. When I participate in GangRP my friend mentioned that I get frustrated, that I sometimes get stressed and anxious which is very bad for my health, which is why thanks to two of my good friends, I have decided to step away from GangRP, I will not be quitting it forever but I will be prioritising my time on other things such as FamilyRP, SchoolRP, FriendRP, WorkRP and basic interactions, I realised that when I prioritised GangRP and CrimeRP I didn't have time for all the rest, I wouldn't FamilyRP unless it was GangRP or CrimeRP related, i'd often find myself leave the game during School Time to avoid it since I cannot GangRP during School Time, I wouldn't have time to get my character to make new friends, friends that aren't in gangs or do crime, and I certainly didn't have time to get a job at like Henki-Do or Yona Yona or any shop. Now that I have taken a step back away from GangRP I have noticed my characters develop in a way that makes me proud of myself, my character knows almost every single one of his family members, my character now interacts with faculty and attends classes, he has gotten himself plenty of new friends that don't have any relations to crime and he might get a job soon. I have honestly acquired so many things that I thought I never could, however the only downside to all this is that I still have a whole lot of free time, free time that I will be pouring into the Reporter Faction, if accepted.

Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?:

Well as a stated previously, I am a writer within four different discord servers, I have been paid to write biographies, descriptions, detailed backstories, detailed actions and even fun little lore stories. I absolutely love writing, the first time I wrote something worth a damn, was in Grade-9 when I had to write a big essay on this topic, "Why should women have equal rights, alongside of men?" this topic really sparked something in me, as a woman I have always been compared to my older brother, a man and I have always been told that I will never be like him. Male writers get a lot of credit but female writers? They get so much more, just think about Toni Morrison, she was the first African-American woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. Morrison is also known for her exploration of Black female identity, race, and culture in the United States. This means that I am extremely passionate with writing and I would like to try and keep it as a hobby, not a career, however I want to be really damn good at it, and I will try to be.

Are you aware of - and will follow - the set of rules provided to you?:

I am aware of the rules, and I promise to follow them.

Why should we accept you over others?:

I'm not going to talk down on anyone, i'm not gonna go off and say that everyone sucks and I'm the best, but I do believe that everyone have their own qualities. Personally I am hard working and active, I proof read anything I write multiple times before submitting my work, I am also someone who is really committed to writing and passionate about it, I write in my free time and in my work time (RIP school). However I have a small issue, of when I don't like something I wrote, I once spent three hours writing a biography just to delete it in the end because I personally didn't like how it sounded it, nor how I phrased things.

To conclude, you should pick me because I am passionate, I am committed and I am good at writing.

Do you understand you have to stay completely neutral with all reports? (Your report can't have any OOC or IC bias towards a specific group.)

I completely understand that I shall stay neutral in all my future repots, I will not show any OOC or IC bias towards any specific group.

Do you trust that you will be able to stay active and complete the monthly quota?:

I am positive about staying active and completing the monthly quota.

Summarise what you imagine work as a reporter is:

In my eyes, a reporter is someone who is constantly standing on their tippy toes, trying to find some scandal, some undocumented event or even some topic which would be interesting enough to conduct an interview. I also imagine that reporters constantly roleplay with others to discover their storylines or their own personal lore. These reporters have to do this so that their next article needs to be interesting, captivating and enjoyable to read, however I think it's important to also learn things thanks to these articles, whether its who the best tailor in Karakura is or an article involving corruption within the government. Reporters need to have a strong back bone in order to question people who are sometimes very dangerous and very influential, in order to make a captivating article.

IC (In-Character) Information:

Full Name:

She sat down on the chair right infront of the Interviewer "My name is Yumi Kiochi-Nakazumi" she smiled brightly towards the individual.

Preferred Name/Nickname and Title (e.g., Ms, Mr)

She would chuckle in a low voice "Yumi is fine, and Ms is also fine" she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, resting her hands on her lap.

Current Age (25+):

Yumi put her right hands under her chin thinking for a moment "I'm currently twenty eight" she responded, her voice firm and clear.

Past job/work experience:

She titled her head to the side "I used to be a Professor at Karakura High, right up until I was fired." she responded swiftly, not even taking a moment to dwell upon her answer.

Degree/qualifications:

Yumi spoke clearly and sat straight "I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Karakura University.’” With a slight glance downward as if reminiscing about her university days, she responded, “My major was finance and management which included subjects like accounting, economics, and organizational leadership.” She lightly tapped her finger on the desk. “I however minored in Journalism" she cleared her throat "I was also the leader of the Debat Team, back in High School."

Nationality and born location:

She smiled towards the individual "I am Japanese and Spanish, I was born in Madrid"

Phone Number:

She would take a business card out of her pocket and push it towards the individual. The card read '(+81) (030)-197-2141 Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi'.

How would you describe yourself in under 150 words?:

She would pick up her plastic water bottle and take a sip, then proceeded to speak "I would say that I am for once, resourceful, I know how to handle myself in a high stress situation, so when I would be interviewing very important, powerful, dangerous people, I know that my capacities would prevent me from being too afraid of learning and exposing the truth. I do not back down, if I set my eyes on something, I will acquire it." She smiled and ran her hand through her hair "I would also say that I am talkative, and I am able to get people to talk easily about their problems, about family scandals or friend group dama" She bit her lower lip "Sadly I have my bad traits, as does everyone, I sometimes push people too much, if I feel that someone is making a bad decision I will push them to not do it." She cleared her throat and tilted her head down, for Yumi this was a really bad trait, since she didn't want to push anyone else away "To conclude I would describe myself as, resourceful, intelligent, mindful, talkative and interesting."

What are you interested in writing about? How will you achieve this, and would you consider going out of your comfort zone?:

She narrowed her eyes and placed them onto the table "I want to expose any corruption that is linked to the government, any scandals and most importantly, what the government could do to make things better for the people in Karakura." she leaned back into her seat. Yumi adjusted her tie "Honestly, I will achieve this by many different ways, i'll make sure to observe the government, speak to the people of Karakura, find out what they're lacking, find out what the government isn't giving them, such as the house shortage during the cold winter of 2025, an old lady made a petition to add more housing and to bring down the prices, statistics say that 7% of the Karakura population either moved away from Karakura or froze to death, I know that 7% doesn't sound like much, but 7% of for an example 100, 000 humans, is still 7, 000 humans." Yumi would clear her throat before proceeding "Yes I am more than willing to step out of my comfort zone, I am ready to be here for the people of Karakura and expose the government for their any future corruption scandals."

What are your expectations for the job?:

She cleared her throat "I expect co-workers that are willing to give me constructive criticism, not to degrade me, but to help me improve and boost my performances." she exhaled "I also hope to collaborate with my fellow co-workers, for an example, if a co-worker of mine is specialised in crime, and I have a report on the government that also involves crime, i'd hope that this co-worker would work alongside with me, and vice-versa"

Do you have a criminal record? If so, list the crimes below:

She chuckled awkwardly "I have been arrested for possession of illegal weaponry.." she started fiddling with her fingers, she was nervous.

Fluent Languages (Underline your native):

She smiled "I speak Japanese and spanish"

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi met Ami at the lobby of the Reporter's work place. Both of them walked through the different offices, until they finally reached Yumi's. Yumi gestured towards a comfortable looking seat "Take a seat Madame Mayor". Yumi then made her way towards her own seat. Before starting Yumi shook Ami's and smiled warmly at her. She then tucked a strand of hair behind her ear "Thank you for coming, I know you are a very busy woman." Yumi spoke softly yet firmly.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami strode through the officer alongside of Yumi, giving sympathetically nods at the other Reporters. Ami reached Yumi's office shortly. "Thank you" she answered, as she sat down in the more comfortable looking seat. "I am a busy woman, but I can always make time for the wonderful reporters, reporting on everything in my town" she offered a quick smile.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi looked to the side and grabbed a pen and took out her note book "So Ms Akai, are you ready for my questions?" She smirked. "I will not be holding back"

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami put her hands onto her lap "I am indeed ready, but beware, any confidential questions you ask I will not be answering." She gave Yumi a firm look.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi clicked on her pen cap, this would be a long night "Ms Akai, could you let us know where this Depot area came from?" she started off hot on her first question.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami sighed "Confidential" she said, her answer was plain and simple.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi smiled. "I see. Question number two. How do you plan on handling any future corruption scandles?" Yumi wrote something down in her notepad.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami shrugged. "Simple, fire the corrupt worker and slap them with so many law suits, that they'll go bankrupt" she bit her lower lip.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi scribbled something down in her notebook. "I see.." Yumi thought that Ami was starting to come off as obnoxious "Who elects the Mayor?" She asked curiously.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

She set down her iced latte onto the table. "Oh you've got it all wrong Ms Nakazumi, it's the Mainland Government that elects the Mayor of Karakura, not the actual people".

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi bit her lower lip. "Are you telling me that Japan isn't a democracy? You're telling me that the individuals who actually announce the Mayor, are people who have never met these candidates?" She rose a brow.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami titled her head to the side. "Well technically Japan is a democracy but.. We must listen to the Mainland Government, they make the decisions not us." She ran her hand through her hair "Technically the Commissioner is the one who sends the possible mayoral candidates to the Mainland government" Ami coughed slightly as she ended the answer short.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi smirked "My sources tell me that the Mayor elects the Commissioner which means that the Commissioner elects the Mayor, so technically isn't this a massive corruption scandal?" She questioned Ms Akai.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami opened her mouth then closed it again "No comment" she said swiftly.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi sighed "Okay then.." she groaned in annoyance "Okay how about this. Recently all three mansions in the Shopping District were purchased, sixty million each, which means that the Town hall has just aquired 180 million yen. What does the Town Hall plan to do with this money?"

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami nods, this question was a good one "we're spending sixty million on the mysterious tower, that has been in construction for months now. Sadly we had insufficient funds and we didn't want to start charging Karakurians taxes again, so we decided to sell three mansions." She smiled "Now this means that we have hundred and twenty million left, which we will be spending on the renovation on multiple hotspots in Karakura, such as Plaza and the Forest"

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

"That's good, now what about the Karakura Police Department, as stated before the Mayor choses the Commissioner and Nicole Brown, former mayor had hired our current Commissioner, Sasha. Do you plan on changing Commissioners?" Yumi asked, writing Ami's previous answer down.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ms Akai nodded sweetly "Yes we are planning on firing Sasha and hiring a new Commissioner, we feel that since Nicole is being investigated for corruption, we fear that the current Commissioner might also be very corrupt."

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi nodded clearly fascinated "Very, very interesting." she smiled "How are you going to do this? Do you think Sasha might retaliate in any given way?" Yumi's eye brow perked up.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

"Oh dear, I really hope not, I would rather not have a rogue ex-Commissioner, it would be a lot better if he would just go quietly and with dignity." Ami looked serious.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi glanced towards her notebook then back at Ms Akai "I am interested to know Ms Akai, why did you leave your mayoral post, the first time? You claimed personal reasons, which ones?"

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

Ami bit her lower lip and rested her hands on the desk "My husband was in the midsts of stage four cancer, I wanted to be there for him"

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi narrowed her eyes "Yes we found out that your husband died because the doctors didn't give him the right medication, do you think the Mainland Government did a good job on hiring you, seeing as you might have a hidden agenda against the Director of the Hospital?"

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

"Well that is slander and I will not tolerate it, Ms Nakazumi if you slander my good reputation one more time, I will be taking my leave" Ami barked out at Yumi. "I am here on a professional scale, and my personal grudge against the Director of the Karakura Hospital will not affect my work ethics."

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

Yumi smiled "So you admit that you have a hidden agenda against the Karakura Hospital, a personal grudge?" Yumi sighed "The people of Karakura are against corruption and seeing as you have a personal grudge, we can only wonder if you are fit for this position"

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

"Miss Nakazumi, I can assure you, and the people of Karakura, that my personal feelings will not get in the way of my work." Ami swiftly covered.

[Reporter] Yumi Kiochi Nakazumi :

"is it true that you hired an ex-lawyer to kidnap Nicole Brown, during her trip to the United Kingdom, while she was Mayor, in an attempt to be rid of her so that you can return to a high stakes position within the government?" Yumi asked her last question.

[Mayor] Ami Akai :

"I did not even pay him, he was more than willing to do it for free!" Ami screamed then quickly covered her mouth as she got up and stormed out.
