Trivia
What subject are you applying to teach?:

My strong point would be with English, as in real life I plan to do A-Level English in college, and continue to study it in University. If English is unavailable I am open to try another option.

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:

I have been apart of SRP for just under four years now. Since I joined, I haven't really had the experience of roleplaying a key role on the sever, that being a teacher. I was a teacher back in May 2019 but that was before the command to kick students out of a class was introduced, and I ended up leaving the role due to it being a bit too stressful. I would love to have an opportunity to roleplay as a more mature and older character, just like I had previously, and play such a key part in someone else's experience on the server. Becoming a teacher would expand my ability to roleplay on this server because if I am being honest, in my three years on here I am still not the best and I feel becoming a teacher could widen my roleplaying skills a lot and will help to to improve.

What are the teacher class logs and why are they important?:

Classroom logs are what a teacher uses when they have finished teaching a class. It contains plans for classes that you are going to teach. The logs will help you a lot to stay organised and will make the job more efficient. It will also make it easier for other staff members keep track of what you have been doing and what the students have been doing. The classroom logs are also important because they help the principal(s) check that all of the teachers are doing their job correctly.

You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?:

When I first applied to be a teahcer, If I wanted to host a field trip for the students, I would fill out the application on the forums and wait for the principal's approval. After it has been approved I would go over the rules that the students would have to stick to, to ensure that the students will not cause any trouble or get themselves hurt. If this has changed, I will be sure to stick to the format and apply for a school field trip correctly.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:

1) All phones are to be turned off, unless the student has permission from the teacher to have it on.
2) Students must show respect for all teachers and their fellow students.
3) Do not shout out the answers. Raise your hand.
4) No bad language will be tolerated within school walls.
5) No drugs, alcohol or smoking in the classroom or on the school grounds for that matter.
6) You are not to leave your seat unless you have been told to do something by a member of staff.
7) Food and drink are banned from the classroom unless it is a bottle of water.
8) All homework and classwork is to be completed with no excuses.
9) Keep the classroom tidy at all times, if you make a mess, make sure to clean up after yourself.
10) Show a positive attitude towards learning, always work hard.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:

Like I have stated above, I have been a playing SchoolRP for a little under four years now. I have had numerous roleplay experiences within the server mainly to do with cheerleading. I have had roles such as swim captain, college cheer captain, shop Owner, cheerleader, college professor and even a teacher. All of these roles have created different kinds of roleplay that I have been able to keep hold of since owning the roles. I have always preferred roleplaying as a high school student or even a college student, as it's a lot easier to act out in roleplay. Being a teacher in my opinion would widen my horizons once again and provide knowledge of roleplay as I continue to play on SchoolRP. Everything I have learned about roleplay so far I have gained/learnt from joining SchoolRP.

Describe the ranking system of teachers:

↳ Description: This role is the head of a subject. They are in charge of guiding lessons and education. The Head of Department helps the QTLS and the NQT's to make sure they are on task and to make sure they have the knowledge they need to teach their own class.

- QT
↳ Meaning: Qualified Teacher.
↳ Description: This role is a teacher that has permission to teach a subject without needing permission from the Head of Department. Unlike the NQT's, help from the Head of Department isn't needed.

- NQT
↳ Meaning: Newly Qualified Teacher.
↳ Description: A Newly Qualified Teacher is a teacher that must have guidance from the Head of Department. The Head of Department may also give tips and help guide their class. They must also have granted permission from the Head of Department to start/teach their class.

Teacher Knowledge
Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.
Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:

In and out of game, teachers are some of the most important people in a students life. Teachers are around for a variety of important reasons, the main one being to teach students everything they need to know about a certain topic they are teaching. What the students do with that knowledge it up to them, however a teachers purpose is to get students through school with flying colours, and to ensure they ace their exams. In game, the teachers are one of, if not the most important role on the server. The main reason being that the server is literally called, 'School Roleplay.' This making it clear to players that it is strictly based and set around school. Upon joining the server for the first time, the first thing the new player sees is the school.

In England (excluding London) and Wales a teacher's salary is around £25,714 to £41,604 a year. On School Roleplay, teachers earn a total of ¥450,000 for completing 15 classes within the month, in addition to this teachers can claim a bonus of ¥50,000 for completing 10 extra classes per month. In comparison, a teacher on School Roleplay earns more than a real life teacher.

Students on the server put their trust in teachers, because they are there to learn. A teachers duty is to ensure all students are safe on school grounds, to ensure the school is a happy and safe place to be at all times and to make sure that people of the server are making interactions with other people around them, and most importantly, learning new things. In order for a person to learn new things in the school, you obviously need a teacher to teach you these new things. Without teachers in the school, the players of the server wouldn't have much to do on school grounds, leaving them to wonder around the school grounds with nothing to do.

Teachers should also act a certain way while teaching their classes. They should always be organised with an in interesting lesson plan, while also keeping calm and collected throughout the school day. The students should always come first no matter what.

What lesson planning system does the school work on?:

The school on this server works on the 'MoSCo' lesson planning system, which stands for: must have, should have, could have. It is very important to keep the school organised and running.

Character Knowledge
Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. How does he look like? What makes him unique and different? What is his outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is his personality like? What is his plan for the future?

Sakura Hirabayashi is a 27 year old woman born and raised in Japan. She studied English while at college in Tokyo, Japan in order to aquire a permanent job in Karakura, teaching English to the students. She had a lot of knowledge of the subject as she did very well in school when she was a student back at her high shcool. Sakura would be a youthful looking woman with a very soothing, and peaceful tone in voice. Her eyes are a dark brown colour and her hair a dyed dirty blonde colour. She'd be standing at 5'4", making her somewhat petite. She'd have a somewhat pale skin tone but her sharp facial featured would go unnoticed. Sakura has always had a good understanding on how to teach young children as she helps her own nieces and nephews with their school work. She is a very approachable young woman. Students are not a bother to her in the slightest as she has amazing patience. Her personality is kind, considerate and above anything, she is really funny when she wants to be. She takes his work very seriously, ensuring she doesn't make any mistakes. Her dream job is to teach children English because it's one of the most desirable things she would like to do. Above all she just wants to make sure the students she would be teaching have a bright future ahead of them and they don't go down the wrong path.

Scenarios
/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/

You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:

I would approach them calmly and politely asking them to stop cursing and swearing on school grounds, as it could reflect badly on the school and the schools faculty. I would explain that it isn't the correct behaviour. If they are to continue, I would contact a higher member of staff and let them handle the situation. If they continue AFTER I would have no problem escorting them off of school grounds and handing them a detention. If after the detention they continue to cause problems, I will take them into a room out of the way of students and I would have a word with them about the consequences, such as a longer detention, suspension and expulsion from the school.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:

I would raise my voice to ensure I have their attention. If the students proceed to ignore me I would clap my hands or whistle to make myself known to the students and to make sure they are paying attention. I would point out how their behaviour is disrespectful and explain that the teachers at the school are trying to help them get a future once they leave the school. If it continues I won't hesitate to hand out detentions to the students that are not listening.

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:

When in the teachers lounge, Sakura would continue to act professional as always to ensure her colleagues know that she is serious about her job and to somewhat set an example to the others. She would of course be polite and would try her best to include everyone into a conversation.

Provide at least 4 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:

/me She'd slowly walk down each isle of seats, looking over the students shoulders to see their work to ensure they are on task, and are completing the work given.
/me She'd pick up a fresh piece of chalk. She'd stand on her tip-toes to write her name as high up as she could, ensuring it is clear enough to read "Miss Hirabayashi."
/me Would seat herself down at her clean and organised desk, continuing to thoroughly mark the students work while they continued to get on with the task handed to them.
/me Would turn her attention back to the students, clapping her hands loud enough for the students to hear.

Backstory

Sakura was always classed as the odd one out in her family. Her sister, Emiko went on to be a forensic scientist, working with the police force in Tokyo. Her older brother, Fukumoto went on to own his cafe also in Tokyo. Sakura never knew what she wanted to do before she moved to Karakura as she'd always put others before herself, helping her nieces and nephews revise for exams, and helped them with their work at home. She had a few jobs in Tokyo as she grew up but they were simply to earn a bit of money. She struggled finding a job when she was younger because it wasn't easy. She had to be doing well in school and have good attendance. Her work when she was younger was always up to standards. However, as her strong points were in English she ended up doing a lot better in that than the rest. She loved poetry and reading and she just loved researching about artists who wrote the books she grew to love. Back in Tokyo when she was in school, Sakura also enjoyed drama. Her acting skills were very good and she took part in all of the school plays. When Sakura moved to Karakura, she started helping her younger sister with her school work, realising that her love for English had grown. She looked around for jobs but had little success as most jobs were struggling with getting customers, or that they had no positions available. She looked online about classes she could possibly teach in a high school and she soon come across the English department. Sakura immediately knew that was the right job for her and that she would grow to love her job. She applied for the job right away, hoping that her application would soon be looked at. Her family were a little confused about why she wanted to work with children, as her older sister made it clear 24/7 how much she hates children. After a bit of convincing, her family were 100% behind her application and would grow to love her job too. Becoming an English teacher, and teaching the children of Karakura a subject that means so much to her warmed her heart.
