Would result in people being likely to miss new holograms, as a result of playing with holograms disabled, that get added to the map alongside planned map updates.

This would also require a custom hologram system for everything on the server that uses holograms (there are a lot), without that, there would be no way to control which holograms get hidden.

A lot of people seem to be in big favor of this so there wouldn't quite be any harm in waiting a lot of time like us as a community already wait for in plenty of SchoolRP's marvelous updates. If there are new holograms to look out for, then they should be announced in announcements or these backlogs, and then players who do want to seek them will have the holograms toggled.

16 people who have seen this thread have already said yes to this, and it'll only a butterfly effect from multiple people of the server for a "small minority" to become a majority of the server who enjoy simple quality of life solutions. There's no harm in waiting awhile for a system like that if plenty of people in the community who enjoy creating aesthetic for the server want to do it in a fashion where they will not have to always use mods.


Like, wouldn't this look a lot better if those holograms were off by an easy command?

i think the holograms did disappear with the /togglenametags command at one point, maybe i'm just trippin but yeah idk why it doesnt do that anymore

Thank you for your suggestion! After discussing this with the team we have decided to implement it.

- This was a feature a while ago, however Minecraft protocol changes broken this. We'll be implementing a new hologram solution during Spring that'll mean this is possible again.​
