Track outside of school!

WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
Add a track to the gym (in business park) or somewhere else outside of school!
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
Speed is harder to get higher nowadays and we all love the boost you get on school track, however, there are some issues regarding that. Here's some main points on why we should gain a new track!
1. It's unrealistic and unnecessary! - People break into the school from the sewers JUST to run the track.. that's not normal.
2. It can help the track team! - People will run the track throughout the school day to gain speed. The track team deserves a fairly empty track to have practice!
3. All sports teams have their own out of school areas, except track (and baseball :P)! - We've got the pool in the gym, the beach, and the water park for swimmers. We have volleyball courts at the beach. He have a small football field at the park and a large one in the corner of Karakura. Lastly, we have two basketball courts (park and beach). Track folks and runners in general should get their own space too!
4. The gym at the business park has protentional, and no one uses it. - As we know 99.9% of Karakuraian citizens are fit, muscular, good looking, and athletic somewhat! Why don't we see them at the gym? Adding a track and attribute boosters there will defiantly help the lack of visitors!
5. There's space! - There's so many treadmills in the gym, but they're not really usable. Sure you can detailRP it while standing on it but what good does that do? You have nothing to gain unlike the little parkour area helping acrobatics, pool helping swimming (and fishing, if you do that), etc. Removing some treadmills and adding a little track area can probably most certainly fit! However, if not, perhaps we can add a track (+ higher speed attribute gain) at one of those "forbidden areas" with just trees and flowers surrounded by tall bushes and barrier walls. It can be similar to the skate park, and can be a nice little area to workout. Perhaps a little park dedicated for working out?
6. Attracts new players! - When I see announcements for joining sports teams, I always see how higher speed %s have a higher chance to join. Obviously they perform well because of their high speed. However, now that speed is harder to get, new plays struggle to join teams because of it. Having a track can appeal to new players who struggle with speed gain, especially if there's an OOC sign or something telling people you get a higher boost.

I believe something like this was suggested to have a track outside of the school and was denied due to certain reasons.

The Track team has the authority to kick players off the track if they are wanting to host practice for themselves. Also, note that most sports teams only practice a few times a week at most, so it isn't entirely necessary to always have the track empty.

The difference between what you've listed and another track is that they are places you can go to play games and engage in different sports plugins. The beach and swimming pools are completely different when compared to the school pool, and serve as places for you to roleplay in ways you otherwise couldn't at school. With Track, all you need is an area to run, which already exists everywhere throughout the map.

There are never any attribute requirements for joining sports teams. The attributes they post are recommendations, meaning that anybody can try out for any team they'd like. Especially for track (which is a roleplay oriented team), tryouts are more a test of your roleplaying ability, rather than your attributes.

Half of what Karakura does is also not normal. It's not normal for a large majority 18 year olds to run around with weapons, but here we are. Also, there are other ways of entering the school that isn't the sewers.

What Alimonino said. Track team, and any team for that matter, can kick people off for practices.

For grinding specifically, no one really uses... the pool. The ocean is a lot better for grinding your swim attribute, and back to it's not normal, it's not normal for people to be swimming hundreds of laps in the ocean. The waterpark is really just there for decoration if I'm being honest.

The volleyball teams are probably the only sports plugin I know of that practice at the beach because the football pitch doesn't work very well at the beach, and the basketball court has completely different physics compared to the ones in the school gym. And yes, baseball also doesn't have a practice area out of school, but is it really necessary to make an entire baseball pitch in the middle of Karakura somewhere? Same with track. The difference between the other sports versus baseball and track is that they take up a whole lot LESS space to implement. The football pitch at the beach is smaller than the one at the school, that's why no one USES it.

I support making treadmills actually useful because what's the point of implementing treadmills into the game if they don't even work. However, it may be a lot of work to implement, or cause lag to the server if a lot of people are using it. Something like this is bound to get abused, because everything new added always is (speaking from personal experience).

As Alimonino said, they're not requirements, they're suggestions. Speaking as a former captain myself, attributes are really not that important as long as you're actually good at the game. Sure, they're beneficial, but not required. I've had multiple team members that had a low speed attribute, but that didn't stop them from dominating the goddamn court.

Thank you for your suggestion! After discussing this with the team we have decided to decline it.

- We may consider doing a trail or something in the forest for walking/running, however a track field will only be found in the school or faction buildings which aren't able to visit the school
