Maybe add an additional download link for newer versions for those of us who want to have new cool aesthetic mods that only work on the most recent version

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Allow us to use cool new aesthetic mods for those of us who want to play with some client side mods/cool aesthetic resourcepacks for newer versions without it breaking the entire OLD AS F*** texture pack

you can just edit the pack.mcmeta file in the downloaded resourcepack and increase the version to whichever you'd need, I don't think we'd need additional download links as that'd just get confusing for newer players trying to download it manually.

You can still use packs that arent designed for newer versions. Minecraft will just pop up a warning, but it won't affect your experience at all

Yeah umm well i try it on 1.20.6 it just says resource pack loading failed and just removes it but still thanks!

Sounds like an issue with your mod and not the SRP pack, try getting in touch with the developer or their community if they have one.

if your heads are broken consider deleting the shader pack files in the texture pack to fix it :3

So, the newer versions of minecraft (as far as I'm aware its 1.20+) uses a different file directory for custom model data than the packs for 1.19. This would invalidate the pack for people who play on a version that is lower than 1.20 as minecraft would be looking for a different file directory, and it would end up not showing the textures. On top of that, someone would have to add the new file directory to the pack, as well as change the code, etc. So this would just be a pain to do and would cause a load of problems on fixing the pack, and forcing everyone to play on a newer version. You could change the pack to a newer version on your own however, you would need to change the pack so it fits the new file directory. So unfortunately this is a -1 for me.

- We'll do this once our server is moved to a newer Minecraft version. At the moment, our server runs 1.19.1, hence the pack version​
