Describe your activity and roleplay experience on the server?:
I would say my activity on the server is pretty good, of course this does depend on what my work schedule looks like that week. Usually though, even if I do work I am on for at least four hours a day unless I happen to be extra tired or busy that day. Typically when I am off work, I am on a lot more as I usually have a lot more time throughout the day. When I am off work, I would say I’m usually on for maybe six hours typically, of course it does depend what I am doing that day. If I were to give a number on a scale of 1-10 on my activity, I would say it is around a 7 at the moment just because I can be a bit restricted by my work times as they are typically when most people are on the server. Though despite that, I still manage to get on everyday for multiple hours usually this is spread out across accounts of course so I don’t get burned out on stuff too fast! My account I am applying for may not have as much playtime as my other, but that is mainly due to my main having my college and highschool role which I get on during school typically! Then also of course my Psychiatrist role, which I am on frequently. Of course, if I am accepted my account I am applying on will become more active than it already is since I will have more to do!

When it comes to my roleplay experience on the server, I have done a range of roleplay over the years I have been on the server which include sports, factions, crimerp, family rp(?) and more! I have been on the server since around 2021, I cannot be sure of the exact date I joined but it is around there. During the beginning of my time on the server, I actually did apply to be an Art Teacher during my first year. I would say that I was accepted! While it has been a VERY long time since I’ve been in the faction, I do remember enjoying it a lot and making quite a few friends that I still talk to till this day.

I know alot will be different, especially since I am applying for professor but also just because of the amount of time that has passed and changes that were probably implemented during my time away. Also around this time is when I joined High School Track, which was my first sports team I ever joined and sadly my only one as I never found much time for one after. Though that was very fun, and also taught me a lot I didn’t know about Jock RP and kinda how the different roles (College and High School) acted along with the rivalry! It was very fun but also I’d say stressful mainly due to the amount of crazy drama, though I would do it again. After this is when I joined EMS for the first time, which was also a great experience and continues to be as I am EMS again now!

Also during this time when I was active in GangRP/CrimeRP, I was in a few gangs throughout my time on SRP. Most are not around anymore or the people, mainly because how long ago it was. While I did enjoy it, now it is not really something that I partake in! Though on one of my characters I do partake in Delinquent RP but as for Crime RP it is not something I do anymore. While it did teach me a bunch, I found it very stressful back then as things were changing and just how ACTIVE it was as a whole! Then around a year or two ago I was a priest, which was really fun at the time and showed me a WHOLE other side of RP than I was used to! Other than all this I don’t have much else when it comes to my roleplay experience on the server, beside DetailRP and FamilyRP if you can even count that.

In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP?:
There are a few reasons that I personally believe Professors are important to SchoolRP and I’m sure many others would agree on most of these. The one and main reason is that Professors are the only ones able to host classes for college students, which for college students wanting to go up to say Masters a professor is very important. I also feel like they play a big part in people wanting to get their college tag, while it does make them one step closer to a possible adult tag which is what many want. I believe highschool students planning to take the exams, look forward to the Professors' classes also. I know for certain I do, Professors are able to teach subjects that Teachers are not which many could be interested in which helps motivate them to do the exams.

Another thing is that Professors do give college students something to do, like said before also a way to go up College Masters which is again one step closer to PHD or Adult! Another reason though is I believe that Professors are important to the server because they do keep College Roles interested and can help people who may feel like there's not much to do! I know lots of people are bored on weekends typically due to the lack of stuff, which I think also applies to College students and it can give non-ganrpers a chance to Detail RP in maybe ways they wouldn’t have before. Overall I just think Professors are important overall and summarized for what they do and what they can give other players on the server, also there being professors allows for more variety when it comes to the students! Since it allows there to be High School and College.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may face demotion or removal from the faction?:
Yes, I completely understand! I have been in a few factions in the past even been a Teacher, all had this rule or similar. I intend to follow it and if I do happen to need to take inactivity, I will log that accordingly however you may do that!

Do you understand if your application is accepted, you may have to undergo professor training?:
Yes, I completely understand and I am quite excited. While I have worked as a teacher before in the faction, I have not been a Professor and even so it has been a while since I was a teacher. I know there are probably lots of new things that I will need to learn and even some I just need to refresh my memory on.

What's your character's full name?:
She would lean back in the chair, as she looked around the officer for a second before her eyes landed on the person asking her name, she tilted her head slightly despite her actions and her face said something else. “My name? My name is Aisha Folayemi Narvaez.” Her voice came out cold and more tough, her accent making her words sound a bit more harsh than intended.

Age (Minimum is 27):
Her eyes were still locked on the person from their last question, as she crossed one leg over the other. Her hands readjusting the gold watch on her wrist, as she spoke, raising an eyebrow. &f”I am 43 years old, though I do turn 44 this year if that even matters really.” After she said that, she’d place both her hands in her lap leaning back into the chair fully her face still showed barely any emotion.

Nationality:
For once during the whole interview, her eyes seemed to light up even if it was just a bit and barely noticeable. She was leaning forward as she began speaking. “My nationality? I was born in West Africa and lived there for most of my life. I tend to visit, at the moment I have dual-citizenship and plan to keep that.” She didn’t drag out much, as she was already leaning back in the chair once more.

Preferred Subject:
She raised a brow at the question, she cleared her throat. “Zoology and if I am being honest, I believe that is really the only subject I can offer as one to teach. I spent years learning about animals, and so much more. But Zoology is my preferred subject.”

Describe the character: How do they look and act? What makes them unique and different? What are their plans for the future? Optionally, what is their past?:
Aisha is a very tall woman, which is what people will tend to notice first usually upon seeing her most will be intimidated at first glance. Despite her height, she is rather large not in weight but muscle, when you do see her she would usually carry a sort of aura about her that just screamed to leave her be almost. Even when she spoke, she was very blunt with her wording. Some could say it was due to the language barrier even her accent making her come off a bit harsher than she may mean. Aisha hair goes down to her back, sometimes she could be seen with different colored hair than her normal but more often than not she usually had a full blowout. Her hair a dark black, with red stripes throughout it usually matched with her outfit, as she often wore red and it was often the same shade as the red in her hair. Aisha also has very sharp features, some may say her eyes could cut through stone. When it comes to how she dresses, it does usually change drastically when off duty and on duty. Off duty she usually could be found in either traditional west african clothes depending on the event, along with a more 90s and Y2K style do take into note that her college kids tend to help pick out clothes. After years of their own mother dressing them up, they kinda do the reverse of that with her. When she is on duty she would definitely wear more professional clothes, that don’t have as much flare I’d say as other fits she would wear off duty.

There are a few different things that I believe make Aisha unique and stand out from others that may have applied. One thing is her experience when it comes to her career choice, while she may not have teached as much she has worked more hands on with MANY animals across countries. Along with the experience she has in the career I think the career is a unique aspect of her to begin with, never have I seen anyone apply for Zoology which I do feel makes her more unique in a way as the subject she teaches is rare almost and not as taught if ever. Along with this she has worked in many different places, while they all took from her own career choice she still found herself going across Africa to another faculty when she was in the beginning. She has worked at sanctuaries, release and rescue expeditions, year long research on some animals in west africa, relocating animals, preserves and more. She has worked many different jobs, but all had that same in common: all had animals which she would usually work with in person, not exactly meaning she’d make contact even at times it would just be hours of watching from a far distance. She also worked with vets to track certain wild herds of animals, the species varied but was specific few this was so that they could treat them if needed. Even to administer vaccines that will be helpful and much more. This is why I think the subject she chooses to teach and well dedicate most of her life to makes her more unique and different from others in quite a few ways.

When it comes to the plans for the future, Aisha has a few but not as many as other people might. She is older than lots of people in Karakura, so most of her plans for the future or goals she has achieved. She accomplished almost everything she wanted from her career, which is why she went to teaching as it was something she had not done and something that would be new. Though If I had to say some one of them would want all her children to graduate, that is not necessarily her personal goal but it is something she will help her kids work for and make sure they do. I would say another goal or plan for the future is to slowly move all her adult kids down here, as her family does live throughout various parts of africa. So I would say that one of her biggest plans for the future is to move all her family down to Karakura as she does not like being separated by an ocean from her family. Which was also a reason she moved here since so many families had moved to Karakura before she did, and some it had been years since they all last saw each other. As time goes on she would probably start having more plans for the future, but at the moment almost everything is centered around her family and any plans for the future are also.

What is their outlook on students and their co-workers?:
Aisha's outlook on people really would depend on what type of worker they are along with what kind of student. Respect is a big part of who she is, she expects it and gives it without much reason though she is just as fast to take it away. For students it would depend on how they act around her and really in her class, she would also base her opinion on them by what she hears from other faculty also. Someone who acts out in her class, speaks without permission, does not listen etc. She would definitely have a different outlook on them than say a straight A student, who listens and shows respect for not just her but the ENTIRE class.

So, when it comes to students her outlook on students who’d be considered good is of course usually good as she likes students who do actually come to learn than wreak havoc wherever they walk. Though she would not exactly hate troublemaker students, while yes she will be probably more strict she would not hate them. In her mind students who act out or have any of these problems really, could just be kids who need help beyond what she can give. The students could also have a tough homelife which she does take into consideration but still has to uphold the rules of the school and that she will do. Though she will ALWAYS offer a helping hand to any student who asks, and she thinks may need it.

Now when it comes to co-workers it is similar to students in how her outlook on them can change, but she does expect different things from her co-workers than she would students just learning how to be adults. When it comes to the people Aisha works with, she prefers people who are efficient and fast and in short terms that don’t fuck around. She has never been fond of drama, well at one point maybe but having so many kids and siblings she has had enough drama for a lifetime. So she will tend to have a better outlook on faculty that is a bit more professional, can command a situation and just in general come to work and do their job.

While faculty who may tend to goof off, or engage in workplace drama she would have a more negative outlook on them. She can be old fashioned in that way despite how she may look and seem. Also despite her cold and usually indifferent expression, she does lean towards co- workers who may be more bubbly you could say! So depending on how the co-workers act, what really they partake in and how they handle things will play a big part in how Aisha sees anyone when it comes to a workplace dynamic.

What is their motivation for becoming a professor?:
Aisha's motivation to become a professor comes from a few things, for most of her career in Zoology she did not necessarily teach. She went on rescue and release missions for injured animals, some were even what is considered an apex predator. She has worked mainly physical tacking jobs for the last 20 years of her Zoology career, which is one of the reasons she wants to become a Professor. While she won’t be on the field herself anymore, she still wants to be a part of something relating to her career. She will always have the itch for it that she has had since she was five, so teaching seemed like one of the best options. While working her on sight jobs, which were in fields or straight wilderness, sometimes vet jobs or working at a sanctuary till an animal was released. She also worked very closely with the government to help endangered species in her country before coming to Japan, but during those last years of that part of her career she worked to get a teaching certificate and degree which was all she needed. That is why this one of her biggest motivations to become a professor is because this way she can still do what she loves, even if it's not in the way she would have preferred to do for the rest of her life. Not only that but moving to Japan and getting the job would move her closer to a good portion of her family, the job would just bring more stability financially not that she would leave her sister and kids.

Another big motivation to apply for Professor is after Aisha’s husband did die at sea, she was stuck raising her kids. She ended up homeschooling for quite a bit due to events… that led to some fears and problems that needed to be fixed. Though over those few years she homeschool two of her kids before they went back, did make her realize how much she did enjoy teaching despite not really thinking she would. Aisha growing up in a more rural village, was always around kids, every family helping one and another to raise children and such so it wasn’t something she was new to, teaching kids things or helping with homework of some kids who didn't have older siblings. That is one of the reasons she wants to become a Professor is not just because of her love of Zoology, but the pull she falls to teaching even if she hasn’t necessarily done it in a professional setting.

A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student, what would your character do?:
At first Aisha would not mind if a student was just ignoring them or their lesson entirely, as it would be them that failed any homework and test given. Though once it got to a point where they started throwing stuff and it was hitting students, she would then probably not only be getting annoyed as a mother of six whose children are all almost grown.. She does not like disrespect at all, ignoring her and her lesson is one thing but disturbing a student and throwing things at them. She would probably call them out in the middle of class, as she would just go completely and utterly silent before asking if they wanted to be on a team or something along those lines then mentioning how her class is not the place at all.

That would be more a verbal warning, even then she wouldn’t outright say that was a warning but say this behaviour continued then she would issue warnings, if it did get bad enough she would give detention but that is a last resort for her as she just does not care for it. Also with how Aisha is she would feel she should be at that detention since she did assign a kid too it, and lord if it does get worse and SLT would have to be threatened it would not be pretty. She would also most likely kick the kid after she has to threaten SLT. Mainly because all of this would take time from her class and if it did get to that point she would just want the student out so she could finish the rest of her class in peace.

A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help, what would your character do?:
With Aisha observant skills having raised six kids of her own and grew up with many younger siblings, in a home that wasn’t always as supportive as they thought they were she would probably notice early on. She would definitely give the student more time to figure it out, but wouldn’t wait long enough that they possibly fell behind. Aisha would at first try to explain it differently, if that didn’t seem to help either then she would start asking other students questions that they had to answer on what was being taught. Though of course, this genuinely could all fail but she would probably try these things first before going up to the student and offering more help. She wouldn’t tell them the answer necessary or how to do something exactly right if that is what the problem seemed to be, but if it is something where they just don't explain what was told then Aisha would try other ways.

She’d most likely spend a bit more time with that student, not a lot, maybe like five to eight minutes explaining it in a different way and letting them ask any question they needed without every student prying ear. If they were still struggling even after, then she would probably tell them they could meet her after class to try and discuss what they didn't understand in more detail. Though if a student did choose not to, she wouldn’t really be mad as she knows the subject is one that is not typically at the school and would not hold it against them. In Aisha's mind every student should have their own free will in what they do with their education and what way they wanna take that along with the career path they choose. Aisha knows her subject can be more confusing for some and lack interest for others.

When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?:
Aisha honestly would tend to stay away from the faculty lounge, while I do think she’d go in when she needed help, to confront someone or had to grade papers. She would also lean more towards the library, and even the botanical garden in the school. Since Aisha is new to Japan, and has only been learning the language a year I feel she would read TONS of literature while grading papers. Aisha has always been good at multitasking; she could probably be found in other places beside just the faculty lounge to grade papers. Hell, she’d even grade them while walking down the hall in the passing period waiting for her next class to start. Though overtime I think she would eventually navigate to the faculty lounge, probably when she had more people she talked to in the school.

Along with that she would also start doing stuff in the faculty lounge after she finished a HEFTY chunk of the books in the library or she would have a big pile next to her while she graded in the faculty lounge. Also once she got comfortable with people I do think she would make *****ian food for the other staff, she would definitely say it was for herself and then offer them it while making sure no one has allergies to anything in it. Aisha would most likely also be much more relaxed in the faculty lounge as she wouldn’t have to worry about the children, though she would most likely keep a neutral expression and still look rather intimidating and cold. Although when talked to they’d most likely see another part of her especially after she has been there a while and got comfortable.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas and one field trip idea related to your subject?:
Interactive Class 1.0
For the first class the main point of topic would be ‘Working Animals’ so for this class we would go over the different kinds of animals and what jobs they have. These will be based on what the students can think of, after some animals are mentioned and EACH student will be tasked with making a list of pros and cons about that working animal. Once this was done by each student or whoever is not afk, we would then have a class discussion about it. I would try to make sure I got everyone's opinion before the next part, as I do imagine this part will be hectic as every student will be giving input and such. But after we will then rank the working animals that the class had chosen for this in a hierarchy of ‘Worst’ to ‘Best’ it sounds vague but that is the point. Worst could be many things: the type of conditions those animals live in, what these animals endure to do these tasks, is it ethical or inhumane, and it can go on. The best could range from a list of things also, such as how happy the animal is in the working environment they are in, how beneficial it is to us but also the animal, and can go on again.

This class would be very interactive as the beginning of it depends on students giving their ideas so that animals can be added in. Then also the fact students will have to not only make a list of pros and cons, but also have a class discussion which will probably be split to balance everything and then the hierarchy list from worst to best. Now the hierarchy would not be to say things like “The animal is stupid…” that is not something that would be really taken into consideration but deeper reason and such. I have also thought of a homework assignment for this class which I have no idea if we will mention, but I’m going too for the heck of it!

Homework would be assigned for this class, in which the students would almost do what they did in class but based on their thoughts alone. List would be given of different animals than what were said in class, each working animal and the students would have to pick two for the first question and write what they do along with the pros and cons of that animal doing the job. The second question will just be them explaining why they think these animals were chosen for these jobs and how it affects them. Then last students will have to make the hierarchy or more of a tier list for these three animals.

Interactive Class 2.0
The second class idea would be centered around “How to care for animals properly” which in this class there are quite a few things that could be talked about and genuinely a bit could not be covered like the last. So if needed this class would extend to a second period, which does apply to the first and field trip! But in this class (if allowed) Aisha would bring in her Great Dane who is a certified service dog, which in this case he would not be there to help and so she can explain service dogs better but could be a future idea..who knows. The beginning of class would start off as a typical lesson, where she would explain the difference between caring for a cat in comparison to a dog. After which would move onto how each breed of dogs and cats will need different care depending on the different needs.

During this she would not go over not only her Great Dane but would be compared in contrast to another dog breed. This can change depending on the class and just so it isn't as repetitive of a lesson. But she’d explain the health risk of a Great Dane vs another breed, along with their exercise and physical need vs another breed, and would continue to go on. She would even cover what both dogs were originally bred to do, along with origins of the two breeds she’s talking about in class. Now how this class would be interactive is after this was done, she would have the students do their own research on a breed of their choice and then towards the end or in another period if needed they would compare. The students would compare what they found on their breed of dog in comparison to her Great Dane, the students would be given a list of things to research but other than that it would be up to them. This would also be something they would present to the class.

Field Trip 1.0
One of my ideas for a Field Trip that I do feel could be more unique, is where Aisha takes her students to the Aquarium. The Aquarium has been on SRP for a few years now, and I barely see any interaction with it. While I do know that is due to the lack of, well fish whitelist so not many people go.. That's where this field trip comes in! It would take a bit more OOC planning I’d say than any field trip I can think of at the moment. But before this field trip would happen, I would most likely ask a few of my friends with fish whitelist as I do know a few surprisingly if they’d like to participate. This is where the hard part comes in. At least I’d say to do this I would like 3-4 fish whitelist on at the same time but when I could the field trip would go sorta like..

First in class, I would have them go over a lesson where they will probably go over different fish species in Karakura and such. Which would be just a quick thing as there would only be limited time, then once that was done and they got to the Aquarium there would be fish that were taught! This would of course, be discussed with the fish whitelist player also before so they knew what fishes were taught about, also maybe have them change to different kinds to give everyone a chance! The students would be asked to identify the fish, along with giving some facts that were discussed with the class before. I would honestly probably stretch this field trip out over two classes, and if allowed towards the end and if I can get a dolphin whitelist on maybe I’d have them go there. There is also a rock at the beach that I would have to go to where it has tons of crabs, another thing that could be identified as Japan does have a few crab species!
