History
Chapter One: ANCIENT HISTORY
In the distant past during the Kamakura era in Japan, the seeds of a legacy were planted by a remarkable individual named Ashikaga Furukawa. Hailing from a farmer's family, Ashikaga defied societal norms by ascending the ranks to become a low-ranking Samurai tasked with defending Japan against the Mongol invasions. His bravery earned him national hero status, and he accumulated immense wealth and influence before making a pact with death. His fearsome reputation as a tale of caution for children was cemented by the stories of his unwavering justice, wielded through his katana. The Ashikaga family was forever marked by their association with curses, arson, murder, riches, and, on occasion, artistic talent.
Centuries later, Chikamasa Furukawa, the great-great-grandson of Ashikaga and a powerful Daimyo in Kyoto, embarked on the construction of an impressive
During the time between the Nanboku-ch and Azuchi-Momoyama eras, the Furukawa clan embraced their cursed heritage. One of its descendants, Hisoka Furukawa, was known for his ability to commune with the dead and for his fiery passion, a trait that earned him a reputation as a pyromaniac. Despite this, he was widely recognized for his devotion to the Shinto religion.
Hisoka's reputation for kindness was also established, as he allowed the vast woodland surrounding the castle to be turned into a cemetery for the fallen after a major battle. According to legend, a flower he held dear continued to flourish in the cemetery for years after his death, due to a pact between Chikamasa and an evil spirit.
During the Meiji era, the family's wealth declined, but they were able to keep their castle and the cemetery in the surrounding suburbs due to their investments in western industries such as railways and telegraph lines. They were involved in numerous conflicts during Japan's rapid expansion and militarization, starting with the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895.
At the time, Ryūnosuke Furukawa, the heir to the family, supported the Tripartite Pact, which would prove to be a major misstep for the family. As a result of their involvement in the war, the castle was bombed in the final years of WWII, causing the Great Fire of Furukawa Castle in 1944. All that was left was a ruined, burned-out structure for the family to inhabit.
Ryūnosuke Furukawa would act as one of the poster boys of the death penalty in The Treaty of Versailles
Chapter Two: Early Life & Jiangshi's beginnings in Crime
In the then modern day of the late 80s, existed a still primitive Jiangshi Furukawa, who was the future leader of the wealthy Furukawa family. Despite his privileged background, Furukawa was drawn to the dark side of society and joined a lower-tier branch of the Yamaguchi-Gumi gang. Despite his parents' disapproval, he enjoyed his teenage years working as a subordinate for the gang.
However, Furukawa felt unfulfilled and wanted a challenge that would give his life more meaning. So, he took the bold step of leaving his luxurious life behind and joining the Yakuza, Japan's infamous organized crime syndicate. This was a major change for Furukawa, who was not used to the harsh living conditions and dangerous lifestyle of the Yakuza. At first, he struggled to adapt, but as he rose through the ranks, he began to see the world from a new perspective.
He was appalled by the corruption and injustice he saw and became determined to use his position within the Yakuza to fight against these forces. He took on dangerous missions and used his skills and intelligence to help those in need. However, as he challenged the status quo, Furukawa faced growing resistance and hostility from his fellow Yakuza members. He had to make tough choices and realized that fighting for what was right would come at a high cost. Despite the difficulties, Furukawa remained dedicated to his cause, a rare hero who found his purpose in the rough and unforgiving world of the Yakuza. Sadly, this phase was not to last.
Chapter Three: Life in the Japanese Self-Defence Force, and eventual recruitment in the Japanese Special Assault Team
Jiangshi Furukawa's ambition had taken him far in the Japanese criminal underworld, propelling him to higher ranks in the Yakuza. Despite his ascent, he was cognizant of the hazards and perils of his illicit lifestyle. Unfortunately, his apprehensions became a reality when he was apprehended by the authorities. With the aid of his wealthy and influential parents, he was able to dodge a prison sentence. However, they warned Furukawa that this was his last opportunity, offering him an either-or scenario: reform and change his ways or face the music alone, cut off from the family.
Furukawa reluctantly accepted the offer and started the strenuous journey of revamping his life. He joined the Japanese military, determined to make amends and earn back his family's trust. Little did he know, this change would prove to be a fortuitous event. Not only did he escape the wrath of the clan for desertion, but he discovered that he loved the life of a soldier even more than that of a Yakuza underling. It was a tough and often disheartening path, but Furukawa persevered. He put in effort to his training and duties, gradually gaining the respect and admiration of his fellow soldiers.
Jiangshi became known for his stealth and cunningness on the battlefield, and was one of the best soldiers in his unit. Jiangshi Furukawa was a rising star in the Japanese military. A skilled and dedicated soldier, he had made a name for himself by arresting several high-profile suspects, earning the
But after years of combat and being deployed to various hotspots around the world, Jiangshi’s experiences began to take a toll on him. He struggled with the trauma of seeing his comrades die and the effects of torture after being taken prisoner on a mission in China. As he struggled to cope with these psychological scars, Furukawa became increasingly disillusioned with the military and the government bureaucracy that he had sworn to uphold. He began to question the reasons behind the missions he was sent on, and the true cost of the conflict.
Eventually, his disillusionment turned to anger and resentment. He became almost a rogue soldier, using his skills and training to take on dangerous missions for his own gain. He grew a new entity during this time, an alter ego whom he called “The Driver”, who became known as an elite mercenary, working for the highest bidder and showing no loyalty to any cause or country.
His methods became increasingly brutal, as he displayed no qualms about utilizing deadly power to attain his objectives. However, he was aware that the higher-ups only whispered about his actions, as he played a crucial part in executing tasks that were meant to be kept under wraps. Nevertheless, he continued to operate in the dark, accepting assignments from both the government and whoever offered the highest salary, executing his missions with a calculated brutality. He transformed into a symbol of death, a bringer of chaos and fear to his adversaries. With the passing of time, Driver's deeds finally caught up to him. He was left isolated, with no one to turn to or trust. He became more and more paranoid, lashing out at anyone who posed a threat to his exposure. Up until this point, his legacy was a reminder of the corrosive effects of war, the toll it takes on even the most valiant soldiers, marked by violence and treachery.
Chapter Four: Initial Contact with the Black Market
As a last ditch effort to save his dwindling marriage, Driver agreed to attend PTSD Anonymous, a support group for people with PTSD disorder. It was there that he met Ibrahin Azikiwe, a charismatic and intelligent man who shared many of Furukawa's interests and passions. They hit it off immediately, bonding over their shared love of crime and their mutual struggles with addiction. As they got to know each other better, Furukawa confided in Azikiwe about his position as a member of the Special Assault Team. Ibrahin Azikiwe in turn, admitted to being the Director of the Karakuran Black Market as well as a high-ranking member of The Wild Dogs.
Azikiwe was intrigued by Furukawa's background and expertise, and he soon realized that he could become a rather valuable asset. He offered Furukawa a job as an informant, using his knowledge and skills to help Azikiwe in his own criminal endeavors. Furukawa was hesitant at first, but he eventually agreed to Azikiwe's offer. Thus began a complex and dangerous partnership between Furukawa and Azikiwe, two men with a shared love of crime and a willingness to take risks. Together, they would test the limits of their abilities and forge a new path in a world of endless possibilities.
Informational ; Incomplete copy of the Wild Dogs SAT Case
Jiangshi Furukawa had been working as an informant for Ibrahin Azikiwe for several months now at this point. The partnership had proven to be rather fruitful for the two of them. He had provided Azikiwe with valuable intelligence
Furukawa knew that this was a golden opportunity to help Azikiwe evade the forces and stay alive. He quickly informed Azikiwe of the raid, giving him the opportunity to warn the Black Market and ensure their escape to a secret hiding point, known only to the top ranking Black Market enforcers. Much to the dismay of Luke Herrington, the then second-in-command of the Black Market, the raid was a complete failure. The Wild Dogs, a notorious gang associated with the Black Market, were able to escape thanks to Furukawa's warning.
Chapter Six: Making an enemy of the Herrington Family.
As a result of his extensive influence in the SAT, Jiangshi Furukawa was appointed as the Director of the Herrington Case. His assignment was to examine the doings of the Herrington family, an affluent aristocratic group believed to have links to organized crime. Despite the difficulties and hindrances they encountered, Jiangshi and his colleagues persisted in their tireless efforts to amass proof and construct a case against the Herringtons over a period of several months. Their unwavering determination kept them motivated to successfully conclude the investigation.
Despite their best efforts, Jiangshi Furukawa and his team were unable to find any concrete evidence against the Herrington family. The Herringtons were like ghosts, seemingly untouchable and beyond the reach of the law. At every turn, the Herringtons seemed to be one step ahead of them. They had powerful friends in high places, and they used their influence to protect themselves from investigation. The Herringtons donated large sums of money to charity, and they were well-respected in the community.
Jiangshi and his crew experienced feelings of disappointment and frustration. Despite their months of effort on the case, they had little to demonstrate for it. They were without tangible proof, no one had come forward as a witness, and they had no promising avenues to pursue. The case seemed to have no solution. However, their fortunes changed when they stumbled upon evidence of the Herringtons keeping a pet polar bear, which had fled from the Karakura Zoo, in violation of the law requiring a permit for such animals. This was finally the first piece of solid evidence they had obtained against the powerful family.
They quickly moved to investigate the report, and they were able to confirm
Jiangshi and his team were disappointed to discover that their search of the Herrington property yielded no signs of illicit behavior. The only item they found was an officially registered and known prehistoric religious artifact. Although this was a letdown, it was insufficient as evidence of the Herringtons' wrongdoing. Yet, upon closer inspection of the artifact, they
Jiangshi and his team were puzzled. They had no idea how the blood had gotten there, but it seemed to be connected to the artefact in some way. They carefully collected samples of the blood and took them back to the lab for ****ysis. The results of the ****ysis were shocking. The blood was human, and it had been there for at least two decades. It was clear that the Herrington's had been involved in some kind of ritual or sacrifice involving the artefact, but there was no way to prove it in a court room setting.
Jiangshi and his team were disappointed, but they were not deterred. They would continue to investigate the Herringtons, determined to bring them to justice no matter what it took. This being until Mayor Quinn Leighton ordered that the case be disbanded, and the files be completely destroyed. The knowledge now only existing within a few silent high-ranking officers.
Jiangshi realized that there was something deeper to this, wondering where he should align in the future.
Chapter Seven: The beginning of a career of Bounty Hunting for the Black Market
The Japanese Special Assault Team (SAT) was sent on a secret mission to arrest "The Voice," the leader of a dangerous cult. The SAT had been tracking the cult for some time, and they finally had the opportunity to move in and make the arrest. The mission was a success, and The Voice was taken into custody without much resistance. However, during the raid, the SAT discovered something strange. They found a graffiti tag with an orange cat claw mark, known to be the signature of a high-ranking member of the Black Market named "GARFIELD."
Undertaking a covert operation, the Japanese Special Assault Team aimed to apprehend the head of a perilous cult, "The Voice." After closely observing the cult, the SAT finally seized the chance to detain The Voice, and the mission was a triumph with minimal resistance. However, amidst the arrest, the SAT stumbled upon an unexpected discovery - a graffiti tag exhibiting an orange cat claw symbol, known as the emblem of a prominent member of the Black Market, "GARFIELD."
This discovery raised a lot of questions for the SAT. Why was a Black Market member involved with the cult? Was there some kind of connection between the two groups? These were questions that Jiangshi was determined to answer. After the arrest of The Voice and the disbanding of the cult, Jiangshi was summoned to meet with Commissioner Grant Herrington. This was unusual, as the Commissioner rarely dealt with individual members of the SAT. But when Jiangshi arrived, he was handed a letter with a bounty hunter seal on it, the type that came only from the Black Market itself. Was Commissioner Herrington corrupt also?
The letter instructed Jiangshi to kill The Voice using cyanide, and to destroy all evidence of the cult's activities. It was signed with a red crown, the symbol of the Herrington family. As Jiangshi read the letter, the power in the building went out. Jiangshi knew that something was not right. He had a feeling that the Herringtons were involved in the cult, and that they were trying to cover up their tracks. He decided now and there, he would have to choose self-preservation. . . The cult leader was no more by the time the power was restored and it had appeared as if Jiangshi was never there.
Chapter Eight: You can only trust yourself, god damn it.
One day, the Karakura Unit of the Japanese Special Assault Team received a surprise tip. "Query," a notorious criminal, offered to assist with a case. They claimed to have inside knowledge about the target organization and was willing to collaborate with the SAT team to bring them down. Initially, Jiangshi was doubtful about "Query's" motives, but as the investigation progressed, he began to view them differently.
Over time, a level of trust and mutual respect developed between Jiangshi and "Query." They joined forces to gather evidence and see that justice was served. Eventually, they succeeded in taking down the organization. "Query" was known to have a murky sense of ethics, being an informant and detective with a touch of eccentricity. With expertise in criminology, detective work, money laundering, and a notorious reputation as a powerful hitman, "Query" left a lasting impact on the case.
"Query" was on the payroll of both the police and the black market, and he was often hired as a high-end bounty hunter. He had a reputation for being ruthless and efficient, and many people were afraid of him. Despite their partnership, "Query" remained a morally grey figure, and he was not always willing to play by the rules. Jiangshi saw "Query" as the opposite side of the coin. What Jiangshi could become but hadn’t yet.
The ********* group known as the Karakura Akuma was a growing threat in Karakura. They were a radical organization that spread the political message that foreigners were not welcome to live in Karakura. The gang specialized in political assassinations, kidnappings,
The Chimera Crisis hit the city of Karakura with full force, causing widespread destruction through the spread of the Harlequin Virus. The mayhem led to hundreds of infections and widespread fear, but for the Karakura Akuma, a powerful and malevolent criminal group, it was a chance to tighten their grip on the city and increase their power. They saw the chaos as an opportunity and weren't hesitant to take advantage of it.
After the Chimera Incident, Jiangshi Furukawa, who was off investigating was eventually approached by the Vigilante Task Force, a group of vigilantes who offered to help him bring the Karakura Akuma to justice. Jiangshi was skeptical at first, but he eventually agreed to form a begrudging pact with the Task Force. This being off of the books, of course. Together, Jiangshi and the Task Force began to investigate the Akuma, gathering evidence and tracking down their leaders. However, things took a turn for the worse when they learned that the Karakura Akuma were planning to auction off the last remaining samples of the Harlequin Virus.
The auction was being held by "Query" who seemingly had connections to both the Akuma and the evil Black Market. unbeknownst to Jiangshi. This auction had to be stopped by all means necessary. Unbeknownst to the Task force, Jiangshi received orders from a high-ranking SAT general to burn the auction arena to the ground. He would betray his only friend, "Query". The team infiltrated the arena, planting explosives and preparing to burn it to the ground. As the auction began, Jiangshi and his team set off the explosives, causing the arena to go up in flames. The criminals inside were killed, and the Harlequin Virus samples were destroyed. Jiangshi emerged victorious, having eliminated "Query", the Karakura Akuma, and the Vigilante Task Force in one fell swoop. Jiangshi could not help but wonder if he had made the right decision.
He knew that there would always be other threats lurking in the shadows, such as the Black Market, and that eventually this would all catch up to him. One threat instantly came to mind however. . . The Karakura Anti-Government Extremists... KAGE.
Chapter Nine: His unpleasant introduction to Luke Herrington; The Battle of The Dogs.
The SAT unit appeared at the Radio Tower's secret base with the aim to capture Hishei Yamasi, one of the KAGE's top leaders, and dismantle the gang. After months of tracking the KAGE, the SAT realized that this was their ultimate moment to put an end to the Wild Dogs' criminal activities. The KAGE, on the other hand, were aware of the imminent threat and had strengthened their stronghold at the Radio Tower hideout, ready to defend their territory in a final and intense showdown.
The SAT was dismantled, KAGE had ruled supreme, and no one was able to stop them. It seemed that all was lost, and that the city was
The Japanese Special Assault Team had been disbanded, leaving the city at the mercy of the ruthless KAGE group. Fear and violence reigned supreme, with no hope of escape. However, as the chaos of the Battle of the Dogs raged on, a helicopter appeared and out stepped a fearsome figure known as "God." Surveying the situation with piercing, calculating eyes, "God" demanded to know the individuals behind the attack on the SAT. When no one came forward, "God" issued a threat to harm the soldiers' families, sending them into a state of desperation as they frantically begged for mercy in order to protect their loved ones.
“It was me. I was the one who was loyal to Hex, the one who helped plan the raid on the Herrington Estates, the one who killed ‘that disgusting cult leader. The one who burnt that Auction to the ground. It was all me. Kill me if you want, but I still did it.”
spoke Jiangshi, defiantly.
spoke Jiangshi, defiantly.
God doesn’t respond instantly. He simply raises his hand, ordering them around. Suddenly every co-worker around him would be driven into the afterlife where they once stood proudly, all with blade-shaped holes in their skulls.
“You. Whatever your fucken name is. I don’t care. I see 'it', that drive in you, it’s rare to find a mortal man like yourself. You belong to me now you see. This is a new lease on life, if you kneel to me. You are mine until you have paid off your debt to me. Is that understood..?”
spoke Luke Herrington, in a swift, powerful sense.
spoke Luke Herrington, in a swift, powerful sense.
God offered Jiangshi a deal. He would spare his life, and give him a new lease on life, if he agreed to serve God and pay off his debt to him. Jiangshi reluctantly agreed, and he became God's loyal soldier, serving him until the day he could be free. He knew that this was not a decision to be taken lightly, and that he would be risking his life every day from now on.
And with this, began Jiangshi Furukawa’s career as a Criminal Associate. Officially resigning from the Special Assault Team a week later, claiming intense trauma after the battle. During this scuffle, he became unnoticed and faded into obscurity, as law enforcement had much bigger priorities at the time, such as the growing disconnect between the citizens of Karakura and the Government.
Chapter Ten: A new lease on life.
Jiangshi became responsible for organizing and carrying out some of the Herringtons' most heinous crimes during this time period, including political assassinations and human rights atrocities. Jiangshi knew that his role as a puppet for the Herringtons would only continue to fuel the growing unrest in Karakura. As he carried out their orders, he could see the city descending into chaos and violence. But despite his evil deeds, Jiangshi continued to hide behind the facade of a PTSD suffering soldier.
One of these heinous crimes, was the hit on Graziani Kaderona, a then mid-ranking member of the Black Market. Graziani Kaderona was known to be completely soulless in his rise to power within the criminal underworld of Karakura. He began his career as a small-time enforcer for a local mafia group, but quickly worked his way up the ranks through a combination of intelligence, and a willingness to do whatever it took to get ahead.
As he advanced in his career, Graziani became renowned for his ruthless methods and knack for making a profit in any situation. He was known to take matters into his own hands and execute those who defied him or did not live up to his standards. Despite his violent reputation, Graziani was also known for his business acumen and used his links wit
However, Graziani's success made him a target for The Herringtons, who saw him as a threat to their own power and influence. Despite the dangers of his line of work, Graziani remained a powerful figure in the criminal underworld of Karakura and was feared by many who crossed his path. Finally however, when it came time for Graziani to purchase an estate – a hit was made on the man. The Kaderona Mafia had grown too powerful. This would become quite the feat for Driver, who showcased his ability for espionage.
As he entered the Mafia Don’s office, Jiangshi could see the fear in Graziani's eyes. He knew that this was the end for him. Jiangshi calmly explained to Graziani that his time was up and that he had been marked for death by the Herringtons. Graziani begged for his life, offering Jiangshi anything he wanted in exchange for sparing his life. But Jiangshi was not interested in deals or negotiation. He had been yet again corrupted by the constant violence and deceit of the criminal underworld, and was only interested in completing the mission. With a cold, calculated precision, Jiangshi had ended Graziani's life.
Having accomplished the job, Jiangshi vanished from the casino and melted into the crowds of Karakura city. Despite being a hunted man by the Mafia, he felt no fear. He was deeply entrenched in the underworld and saw no way out. The Black Market had taken hold of Jiangshi, molding him into a deadly weapon in their arsenal.
With the Mafia disbanding, KAGE had no more enemies in their way. . . Next step? End the War
Chapter Eleven: The Great KAGE Riot of 2019
The Great KAGE Riot of 2019 was a devastating ********* attack orchestrated by the radical organization known as KAGE. The group, which stood for "Karakura Anti-Government Extremists," or rather “Shadow.” was a
After the sudden disappearance of Mayor Quinn Leighton, the state government made the decision to induct Luke Herrington into the position without a vote. As the runner-up in the last election, Luke was the logical choice to take over as mayor in a time of crisis. However, many people in the town were wary of his sudden rise to power, and they questioned whether he was truly qualified to lead. Despite these doubts, Luke took on the role with determination and set about restoring the town to its former state. Jiangshi is not the type to be afraid to take risks and to push the boundaries of what is possible in order to achieve his objectives, and this has made him a valuable and indispensable member of the Black Market at the time, as the markets personal foot soldier, to eventually becoming a high-ranking member himself.
Chapter Twelve: Fight Club

Chapter Thirteen: Four Years Later...
The year is 2022. After Luke Herrington's second mayoral term had ended, he had decided to leave the Herrington Operations in the hands of his older brother Lucius. But as time passed, Lucius grew sick and weak, and it seemed that his days were numbered. In his final moments in Karakura, Lucius made a desperate offer to Jiangshi: he would free him from his blood debt to the Herrington family, on the condition that he protect and guide Lucius' young son Lernaean.
Jiangshi, who despite his wrongdoings had always believed in honour, agreed to this request. And so, as Lucius was sent away back to Europe, Jiangshi pledged to do everything in his power to protect Lernaean and help him become a strong and capable leader. After many years of working for the Herrington family, Jiangshi Furukawa finally decided that it was time to build his own legacy. He and his elder brother, Kyuketsuki used their considerable wealth and influence to purchase the old Herrington Estate, and they set about renovating and expanding the property. This would be Kyuketsuki's new birth right. A estate more grandiose than ever.
As he observed his sibling pour his passion and energy into the estate, Jiangshi was faced with the challenge of aligning his personal aspirations with his family duties. Nevertheless, he was not one to shy away from obstacles and was resolute in making the property a symbol of his own perseverance and achievement. And so, here we are in the present, with this marking only the start of what's to come. The future holds many tales to be told in 2023.
Chapter Fourteen: Courtrooms, The Yakuza and Otake-Tatsu.
On the 31st of December, Jiangshi sat at his kitchen table, scrolling through the news on his phone. He had always been a compassionate person, and something about the headline caught his eye: "LCN is on Fire By Both Employees & Flames." He clicked on the article and began to read. As he read about the awful working conditions, Jiangshi felt outrage building inside of himself. These people were working hard every day, and yet this is how they were treated. He couldn't sit by and do nothing.
Jiangshi made up his mind on the spot. His families company would take on a pro bono case and help these minimum wage employees get the justice they deserved. He and the Team began to do research, trying to find out more about the situation and what options were available to them. Eventually, the team came across the idea of a class action lawsuit. It seemed like the perfect way to
They began to reach out to the employees at La Castra Bar & Casino, trying to gather enough people to form a class. Eventually, on the 5th of January, he was given an audience with the Court Judge in which they filed the Class Action Lawsuit. The Mayor, who was also in a room -- after a heated discussion with Jiangshi would eventually sign off on the papers. He would fight in yet another battle, this time... A legal one.
Whilst this was all happening, Jiangshi was also balancing his criminal alias, "Driver". It was time for the 2023 Fight Club Security Contract Renewals. So as Driver sat across from Ryuu Tashiro, the new Patriarch of the Akihito Clan. A man in which he both respected and admired, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The security contract between their two organizations had always been a lucrative one, but it had been decided that overhead would require the Club to cut down on the amount of Security Contracts from two to one.
To decide who it would go to was simple.
"Patriarch. I need either JINX's or KAGAI's head on a stick. Both of you will receive the chance to prove your worth as a business partner. If you can bring me Otake-Tatsu's head on a stick, the contract is yours."
To say that The Patriarch took that the wrong way, was a bit of an understatement. A level of disrespect so soon into the new Patriarchs position? Ryuu's eyes narrowed, and for a moment, he thought, and thought, deciding not to give a definitive answer on if or if not he would go through with the insane ultimatum. Could The Patriarch risk the newfound peace in the town for wealth? A deal with the devil? With The Black Market itself..?
After his tense meeting with Ryuu Tashiro, Jiangshi was more than ready to rest and spend some quality time with his family... But that's not the life he lives. The night was still young, and next...? A meeting with Otake-Tatsu.
Driver stood outside the grimy Karakura powerplant, his hands thrust deep into his pockets as he waited for the other security contractors to arrive. Finally, a group of men approached, led by a rather uneventful man with a scared expression on his face. This
"The Patriarch's head on a stick, on the front door of Fight Club, by the 20th of January."
Driver couldn't believe what he was seeing. He had expected Otake-Tatsu to be angry or offended, but not scared at the prospect of murder. The prospect of a war with the Yakuza. But it was too late for them back down now - They would have to decide how they would respond, and that they hopefully will. Driver watched as the group walked away, a sense of ease, unlike before -- settling in his stomach. The nest had been successfully rumbled, and hopefully this would settle things. A battle would soon ensue..
Chapter Fifteen: The Aftermath 1/3.
As the three factions prepared for war, Driver set up a meeting with a up-and-coming Mafia Family, the Forelli's. Driver needed foot soldiers to fight his Black Market war.
The Forelli family was a relatively new Mafia organization, but they had already started to make a name for themselves. They were a powerful group, hungry for more influence and armed with a large number of soldiers. Driver knew that he needed their support if he wanted to win the upcoming war.
In addition, there was the Azteca Motorcycle Club, a gang that was losing its grip on the criminal underworld, but might still serve a valuable purpose.
Driver arranged a meeting with both groups at the Ikigai Club, which would soon be opened. As he waited for them to arrive, he felt a sense of nostalgia. He had dealt with the Mafia before, and knew how to work with them.
Finally, the Forelli family and the Azteca Motorcycle Club arrived. There were four people in the group: Alan, the leader of the Forelli family, Yugo Cortez, the Motorcycle Club Boss, and his bodyguard Kyoji Kyosuke. Driver welcomed them and invited them to sit down, but most of them refused out of fear, except for Cortez who sat down with our protagonist.
Without wasting any time, Driver got straight to the point. He explained that he needed soldiers to fight in the upcoming war, and he was willing to pay them handsomely for their assistance. Yugo, a shrewd businessman, immediately saw the potential for profit. He asked Driver how much he was willing to pay, and Driver named a figure that made the two's eyes light up.
After some negotiation, they eventually reached an agreement. The Forelli family and the Azteca Motorcycle Club would provide Driver with dozens of soldiers to fight in the upcoming war, and Driver would pay them generously.
Chapter Sixteen: The Aftermath 2/3.
As the days went by, Patriarch Tashiro became increasingly uneasy and paranoid about Driver. He realized that he had to take immediate and decisive action to eliminate this threat once and for all. He knew that he could not take any chances and that his plan had to be meticulous and fool proof. So, he turned to his vast network of contacts, determined to find the perfect person to help him carry out his mission.
After some careful consideration, he eventually settled on Garfield, a notorious hitman with a fearsome reputation. Garfield was known for his ruthlessness and speed, and the Patriarch knew that he was the perfec
At first, Garfield was hesitant to accept the job. He had once been personal friends with Driver, and he wasn't sure if he could bring himself to end his life. However, the Patriarch's offer of a considerable sum of money, combined with the promise of a rematch, was too alluring to resist. Garfield finally agreed to carry out the hit, but he knew that it wouldn't be an easy task.
Garfield was a professional, and he knew that he needed to approach the hit with utmost caution and meticulousness. He began to carefully study and monitor Driver's family's movements and routines, ****ysing every possible vulnerability and opportunity to strike. He knew that he had to bide his time and wait for the perfect moment to make his move.
Finally, Garfield saw an opening. He decided that a kidnapping would be the best way to get to Driver, but he knew that he had to be careful not to attract unwanted attention. So, he meticulously planned every detail of the kidnapping, leaving no stone unturned in his preparation. Garfield knew that any small mistake could mean the difference between success and failure, so he left nothing to chance.
With his plan in place, Garfield waited patiently for the right moment to strike. He knew that the stakes had never been higher, and that he had to execute flawlessly if he wanted to succeed. Finally, the day of the kidnapping arrived, and Garfield sprung into action. He moved slowly, entering the Furukawa Estates from the Mountains, slowly slipping down the mountains.
Amid the cover of darkness, Garfield prepared to execute his plan. He had studied every detail and prepared for every scenario, but even he couldn't predict the outcome. Garfield's goal was to kidnap Masayuki, Driver's son, and use him as leverage to get to Driver. However, things didn't go according to plan.
As Garfield approached the haunted castle, he saw a shadowy figure resembling Driver approaching. In a moment of panic, Garfield drew his throwable knife and threw, striking Masayuki in the chest. The sound of his screams echoed through the haunted castle, alerting every single person in the estate. He had just killed Driver's youngest son, and he knew that there would be consequences. Garfield had made this personal now, and that's something you know you never, ever do.
Chapter Seventeen: The Aftermath 3/3.
Masayuki's lifeless body, standing there, Driver sat beside his son, mourning. That damned Clan, they would feel his wrath.
Driver mustered all the strength in him,
"For my sons life, I will take more than an eye." he pledged.
The decision was made, Driver would strike where it would hit the Clan the deepest, Chairmen's Tsukuro Senda's own son would meet his downfall, and the Akihito Clan would fall alongside it if he could manage that, and that's exactly wha t happened. Upon landing in Mainland Japan, Driver head straight to the Black Market hideout in the region, meeting with a fellow acquaintance of the Black Market crime syndicate, together the two schemed and schemed.
They had lucked out, it turns out that The Chairmen's son, Kenji Senda was going to be attending a private party in a luxury party in downtown Tokyo, it was thought to be heavily guarded but that didn't seem to matter much to the revenge-driven man. The scheme involved a poisoning. They poisoned the food and drinks, taking care to target only the right individuals. As a result, Tsukuro Senda's son and several other high-ranking members of the Yamaguchi-Gumi fell ill and died within hours, but that didn't tide well enough for Driver, more had to be done.
Mail would arrive at Chairmen Senda's Yamaguchi-Gumi headquarters, his son's head and a request, A wish to be granted. It was time Patriarch Tashiro hang up his hat.
Next on his hit-list? Masayuki's killer, that and the Season #4 tournament.
Chapter Eighteen: Fight Club Season 4: Project Maihemu
(Readers note: This is a crossover story between Crime Lore Threads and thus, to see what led up to this, check out the other link!)
Another view months had passed, this gap being due to the events in Season 2, as the club would have to be completely rebuilt from the ground up. The new club was an exceptional wonder of modern engineering, it featured sophisticated near cyberpunk aesthetics, including vibrant neon lights that synchronised with pulsating music, the Club Owner, Driver, had spared no expense in creating his magnum opus of a location.
But, Karma had a way of revealing itself, this time in the form of Ken Kurogawa, the founder of the Club. You see, back all the way before Season 1, Ken Kurogawa founded the club alongside two siblings of the Crime Boss and future Black Market Director, Luke Herrington. However eventually things went south, and Ken was banished from the Club, and from Luke's personal connections, forced inside of a mental hospital on the opposite side of the island.. This was thought to be the last of him, until now.
Due to a lack of public funding, he was let out, and with a glorious purpose too, to restart his former radical movement, Keikaku Maihemu. As the months drew closer, more and more signs of his return became imminent, Driver grew wary of the potential threat, and threat he would face, oh yes.
The day had come, the beginning of the tournament, it was a tournament subtitled, "Double Battles!", as opponents would fight i
Driver had requested heavy support from the contractees for this tournament, resulting in maximum security for this opening, guarding the location like a hawk.
A messenger would be sent by Keikaku, a hired-gun from the Yamaguchi-Gumi Yakuza called Tadanobu Ohmori, who humbly requested that Driver surrender, which was met short of a laugh, Tadanobu, who knew Driver from decades prior pleaded, this did not need to happen, whatever they had planned, but this was to no avail..
The tournament began, the crowd with much anticipation and excitement, eagerly awaiting the first fight. The Announcer's voice booming loudly, it was to be a fight between fight between Team 1: Gin Hatake and "KUSHO" of Fight Club against Team 3: Kōdō Senjutsu, and Yin of The Forelli Mafia.
Gin Hatake was a renowned fighter at this point, securing a second place title twice in a row, he was tall and muscular and had no
Gin Hatake and "KUSHO" worked together seamlessly, their movements synchronized as they battled Kōdō Senjutsu and Yin. The four fighters traded blows, their strikes and counterstrike's ringing out through the arena, meanwhile a conflict was brewing at the entrance of the club.
At the entrance of the club, sat Tadanobu Ohmori and Ken Kurogawa, alone, without an army of any sort. A second request was made, this time, for the two to fight in the club, Driver would have no chance to deny the request as Ohmori, who had a bomb strapped to his chest that would presumably blow everyone up if he let go of a trigger connected to his pinky finger. With the threat of the bomb looming over everyone's head, Ken and Tadanobu were let into the club.
As the match began, the tension in the club was overflowing. But just as the two combatants were about to engage in battle, the club was alerted to a potential police raid. Everyone began to run, and chaos erupted throughout the club, to the disgruntlement of Ken and oddly enough Driver also.
Less than an hour after the false raid, a request was sent to Ken Kurogawa over the Black Market broadcast, requesting a fight on Ken's terms... Whoever wins, would win the Club.
The fight was nothing but brutal, Driver despite his old age proved to be an incredible challenge to the nimble and young Ken as he was extremely fast, hitting Ken repeatedly punch after punch, kick after kick.
Ken, who had underestimated Driver's strength, found himself struggling to keep up with his opponent's relentless attacks. Luckily for Ken, he had no moral problems with breaking the rules of the club, pulling out a pocket knife on Driver mid fight.
Driver's experience and skill were still on full display as he weaved in and out of Ken's reach, avoiding the blade with impressive agility. However, Ken's determination was unwavering, and he continued to press forward, narrowly missing Driver with each swing of the knife.
Finally, Ken drew blood. The sight of his own blood seemed to weaken Driver's resolve, and his movements grew slower and less coordinated. Ken took advantage of this opening, pressing his attack with renewed vigor. He landed several blows on Driver, each one causing more blood to flow from the wound.
As the fight dragged on, it became clear that Driver was losing steam. He was growing weaker by the second, his body unable to keep up with the blood loss. Ken could sense his opponent's exhaustion and pushed forward with even greater intensity.
However, due to some luck, or some other worldly force, Driver managed to grab the blade away from him and cartwheeled out of range. Despite his impressive feat, Driver stumbled slightly upon landing, allowing Ken to make a move. However, Driver quickly regained his footing and managed to stay out of Ken's reach.
For a moment, the two men stood there, catching their breath and assessing their options. Ken knew that he was in trouble. He had used a weapon in the fight, which was against the rules of the club, and now feared Driver, who held the knife with anger.
Driver's fury was constant as he yelled incoherently, accusing Ken of breaking into his garden and violating the sacred rules of the club. His metaphorical language was confusing, but his anger was clear and digestible.
Mid sentence however, Driver hurled the blade across the room. The blade embedded itself in a speaker, causing a spark that quickly grew into a flame. The remaining audience watched in horror as the speaker burst into flames, its electrical components sizzling and crackling. The fire q
In a haste, Ken attempted to crawl away from Driver as he slowly walked towards him, Despite his best efforts, Ken was no match for Driver's incoherent anger and raw ability. The old man seemed to be phasing in and out of consciousness as he landed blow after blow on Ken, until Ken finally gave in, surrendering.
"Your ********* Agenda is over, You'll live forever in my Prison,
that's the price paid to those who break into my garden and tarnish it's rules."
Driver looked around the club, trying to find any trace of Ohmori, but the Yamaguchi-Gumi Yakuza man had disappeared without a trace. It was as if he had simply vanished into thin air.
Frustrated and angry, Driver turned his attention to Ken. The defeated fighter was in bad shape, barely conscious and barely able to move, much to similar to himself.
The tournament was over, but the loose threads of the night hanged tightly over the consciousnesses of the Higher-Ups to be tackled another day.
