Jim Kaede Yasushi - January 30, 2022. - 3.9C | 39.1 F Shops and jobs, nothing new, right? We all seen them, perhaps you even have a job. Some shops are manually run, while some you get to just pick up an item and go. But what are these jobs? Where are they? Who runs them? Thats what will be mentioned. (all jobs mentioned are LEGAL, no mention of anything other as we wish to not get a lawsuit.) Please note, that the statuses of each shop may change depending on when Owner decide to open applications or have new owners in place. Some shops will not be named due to massive construction changes, new business, or no label outside their building. If you wish to be added or for something to be updated, contact us on Onrain...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Karakura’s Growth Throughout the years, we’ve seen Karakura change in many different ways, whether that is new people joining our community, new stores and housing, the forest growing, or new species joining it. Karakura has it own way of expressing itself. Even the layout of the city has changed with it over the years, things have been removed and then added back. With this growth, we welcome back 11/7 and the family store. Then there are the newer things such as the Town Hall, the Fair Grounds, and the Power Plant. Everything keeps moving, and everything keeps growing. Some of the greatest memories...
Jim Kaede Yasushi - January 26, 2023. - -0.7 C | 30.7 F A spike in crime is no new event to the island of Karakura, however its always good to bring public attention to it for safety reasons along with the factor of general knowledge. Recently, the spike that’ll be focused on today will be in the commonly conversed area of the Karakura subway stations. Between late december up to now, the most common issue being brought up and reported is Assaults. But why? Assaults happen everywhere, but why is the subway now a hot spot? Its as simple as this; CTTV isnt checked unless something happened .. but who is the one going to report something happening? Chances are - no one. No one tends to hang out in the subway either...
I asked Mr. Anderson and Mr. Wigglesworth the same questions and here are their answers. What interested you in teaching in Karakura? Wigglesworth | “Oh! Well, I suppose I would say the students kinda made me want to teach here! I just wanted to try to help them in any way I could!” Anderson says "Well, I have family in the area and was looking for a new place to live... So I just decided to kill two birds with one stone." What made you choose your...
First entering the town, whether it be just moving here or visiting for vacation or family, it’s clear to see that this town is certainly different from your everyday City. The bustling of the city folk is abundant, whether it be the people wandering The town's plaza, handing out books with varying information or selling merchandise they bought themselves, or maybe it’s the town's shopping district, a place to go with friends and peruse the deals given to you by the amazing shopkeepers. The fact of the matter is, to an outside source, this town is a place full of adventure, a place to meet people and...
Everyone has their traditions to welcome The New Year, whether that is eating 12 g****s underneath the table at midnight, running with your luggage, wearing red undergarments, New Year's kiss, or even making New Year Resolutions for yourself! After asking around Karakura and using the internet to learn more about Resolutions and their history. The history of resolutions is quite interesting, here's a little more on it: it is said that the Ancient Babylonians were the first to create New Year Resolutions over four thousand years...
Jim Kaede Yasushi - January 1, 2022. - -0.7 C | 30.7 F It is a new year in Karakura and there is no better celebration at the end of the year to celebrate than the New Year's Festival hosted at the Monastery! Between flying lanterns to wishes, to fortunes and fireworks, and to food and family, the New Years festival is one of the most notable events Karakura experiences all year. It's also been counted as one of the most populated events that take place all year, as people of religion, non religion, family, students and adults alike all show up to take part in the event. Jim Kaede Yasushi - December 31, 2022. - 4.7 C | 40.4 F The most common form of employee exploitation in nearly any industry is underpayment. It can be argued that this is an issue all around Karakura, especially by how oddly each job's paycheck varies drastically. Underpayment of employees impacts the morale of the workforce, which then leads to a decline in employee’s performances. When demotivated to work, or over stressed to work in order to get paid the amount they can be, their performances are affected,, and productivity declines quickly. This is allegedly the case with La Casa workers, according to eye witness and first hand testimony. This month, I was approached by a La Casa worker who wishes to stay anonymous...
─┉┈◈◉◈┈┉─┉┈◈◉◈┈┉─┉┈◈◉◈┈┉─ Hello Karakura. Jin Kuroki Here. Today’s report is about a government worker prank gone terribly wrong. ─┉┈◈◉◈┈┉─┉┈◈◉◈┈┉─┉┈◈◉◈┈┉─ On December 23rd, following the Winter Wonderland event, all government workers went out for a dinner. After this dinner, there was an afterparty held at a tower. However, this party never came to be. All the workers were taken to a tower, but when they stepped inside of the elevator, the lights shut off. When they came back, Commissioner Schwarz was nowhere to be seen and the floor beneath them broke. The government workers had to crawl through a tiny hole, which led to a room with three separate rooms within. To escape, the workers had to solve a code to unlock the door...
December 27, 2022 Barbatos Archon Karakura Hospital's Prosthetics Fundraiser, raising money towards prosthetics research! As Karakura is well known for its odd reputation, the EMS has decided to create a fundraiser to help with the costs of prosthetics for the people in this city, especially for those who have lost their sight or perhaps a limb. During the Fundraiser, multiple activities were held! Ranging from Dunking the Commissioner and Director, to even simple ones like a Raffle, but of course, not everything is just that as I will cover all the happenings during the event and their plentiful booths! My favorite thing to happen during the event, dunking both the Commissioner AND Director! It was funny to see their reactions...
Starting from midnight til’ 9:00 Wednesday morning, A holiday meet and greet occurred at the center of the shopping district at the tree of Eden. Santa, his beloved wife, and a select few of elves set up an area for the public of Karakura City to meet their favorite holiday characters. Here we saw a large peppermint seat surrounded by snowmen that you could sit upon to meet Santa! The area was fenced in and seemingly guarded by an elf who called themself, “Securiety” elf. Name wise, Ill go into the elves we saw later. For once we found an event that wasn't civilian oriented, instead we saw frontline workers and students alike standing beside one...
Good day, isn’t it? No it’s not. It’s Karakura. Everyday is a bad day! But that’s not what this report is about. Maybe the next report, eh? Anyways, this is Eichi Blackburn, world’s best journalist and clearly better than those reporters! I’ve seen recently that the Basketball Teams are going through a rough time, whoof. That sucks for them. But even though I have my resentment towards the teams, I still feel pity for them. That’s why, this report… is going to be about… you guessed it, BASKETBALL! But Eichi! Your last report was on Basketball too! This is so repetitive! No. Go !@$# yourself. That was the basketball TOURNAMENT. Completely different. Plus, I’ve just rejoined the journalism club from my epic break, no better than the...
