Though, we’ll look at the facts and figures before delving into any theories. On an unsuspecting Friday morning, at roughly 3:30am GMT+9 [IC Time], smoke began to drift upward from behind the brand new Shōtengai, where the new mansions are set to be built. That new building site, gone up in flames… Only a few members of the public stumbled upon it initially, but soon enough, groups of civilians began pouring into the area. And with groups being near the carnage, injury was soon to follow. From accidental burns from fire licking up at...
Have you ever noticed the lack of traffic lights and clear speed limits in the streets of Karakura? In mainland Japan, traffic lights are usually installed at intersections in order to regulate traffic flow, regardless of how populated the area is. After a very in-depth search across Karakura, I noted a grand total of zero traffic lights in the entire city, which is highly uncommon. Obviously, this could be attributed to the lack of consistent traffic in the city, but it’s still unusual. Alongside this distinct lack of traffic lights, there also aren’t any safe school and pedestrian crossings around the city! Usually, you’d find buttons on busy roads, connected to traffic lights, that will stop traffic so that pedestrians can safely...
A couple of days ago, the skies became more cloudy than usual. Karakura is known to be an area with frequent rainfall almost every day, so it was normal for a couple of hours until it seemed to have lasted longer than expected. The wind began to blow hard and the drizzle began. It wasn't until a broadcast transmitted by the News Station about leaving their homes that people began to show some concern. After a couple of hours the rain came down faster, accompanied by lightning and thunder. Another broadcasting was transmitted, instructing citizens to evacuate to a nearby workers building in case of emergency. It is not surprising that many people have evacuated to these areas, as they are considered safer. However, some were...

If one pays attention to it, you may have noticed that as of late it’s usually cloudy skies and rainy, the streets usually having puddles littered across them and the dirt turned to mud. Why has the weather lately been so filled of rain? There could be two answers to this depending on what you believe, there is the spiritual aspect but also the scientific and geological reasonings. In Japan from the month of May to July depending on your region, the country experiences what many call Tsuyu season, named ‘Plum Rain’ due to its timing along with the harvest of plums. Due to our islands more southern location, Karakura’s Tsuyu season typically stretches from early May to late June or early July. The reason rain heavily occurs during this...

A few days ago, a sudden crash was heard right on the town hall what turned out to be a car that crashed right beside it, affecting the town hall’s walls leaving a possible immittent fire. Thanks to the police, this fire was avoided and the car was removed from the area. Prior to this collision, a couple of cars appeared to have been racing and on their way, an oversight caused one of them to crash into the town hall. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, but some witnesses mention the presence of a man who fled the scene at the time of the collision. The crash left a hole in the wall and the car was also damaged by the impact. Thanks to the promptness of the Karakura Police Department, the fire could be avoided, and thanks to...
