WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
At the moment, when any KPD member uses a taser and hit someone with it, the opposite party gains KPS on the cop that tased them. I believe this is too much and want to suggest lowering the perms to either major at max or minor. OR change it to the reason tased to what perms you get, like how arrests work.
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
Firstly, I wish to give you an example on how it goes now:
The cop asks a masked player to face the wall and the culprit runs, after a good chase the culprit got tased and his gang buddies are around and saw the tase happening. At the moment, the culprit would ONLY be arrested for evasion (unless they had more on them) and it would have grand no KPS on the office. BUT now that they tased, KPS is granted and all the gang people start attacking and killing the officer.
See what I mean? They are killing an officer because they tased a running culprit and nothing else. EVEN if the culprit had a weapon (where the bail would be 150k and grand KPS) the officer does not know that at the moment and should die because they did their job.
How should it work, in my opinion?
i wish to give two ideas that I have, where one is straight to the point and the other in more detail but maybe complicated.
Option 1:
Tasing shouldn't grand KPS anymore and instead be changed to Major or minor perms, seen as KPS is too much for a tase that does not harm someone permanently.
Option 2:
When tased you first need to think of the reason, were you seen with a weapon? Were you assaulting someone? Killing? Or just running with a mask? After that, you can know what perms you have, for example:
- tased for killing or going to kill someone = KPS
- tased for trying to assault someone = Minor
- tased for being seen with a weapon or known to have possession of it and then running from it (only if the officer knows you have a weapon) = Major
- tased for evading = no perms/minor.
Those are just examples and are of course subject to change if this gets accepted.
Now, i know many of you might disagree, but you don't understand how many officers die just because they tased an evader.
Feel free to give feedback and idea's below and if you disagree try to tell why and what to change or why this is fine like it is!
Thank you for reading and have a beautiful and amazing day!
