Important dates.
Since my activity is likely to decrease significantly at certain times of the year, I’ve decided it’s important to list the dates I’m more likely to be busy ahead of time. This will serve as a warning for my future inactivity logs. Meaning that anything taking less than 5 days is not listed here.
March to the end of March.
Not a super important inactivity log, and it would likely not even result in one, but I will be running for vice president of council, which will take up a significant amount of my time. This might get extended a bit into April.
April 1st to May 5th
During April and a bit of May, I have to study for my AP exams. This will likely cause my activity to drastically decrease. This means that I’ll only be able to get on for important events or meetings. Since I will have to study and keep up with homework.
August 1st to 31st
I will be taking an online pre-calculus class during this time. Which doesn’t mean complete inactivity like the April one. But rather, decreased response times since I have to pass it. During August, I will also be dog-sitting for an extended period to watch over my grandparents' dogs, which means a week or so when I will be less likely to get on.
September and on.
Starting this year, I will be attending a pharmacy school to earn my pharmacy degree. I will also have to get a job to afford an apartment with my friend since I can’t drive and need to move closer to the school. Which means my free time will drastically decrease. This wouldn’t be an inactivity log, but it is a warning for the future.

What is your motivation for applying?:

I have several reasons for applying to KPD. So I will list them all!
Reason #1: I love KPD!
A simple reason to apply. It’s just that I love KPD and miss it so much. During 2023, KPD was the only real faction I had ever joined. And the people I met in it were so great, and while most of them are gone now, I want to rejoin KPD and have a chance to make good friends again. And even develop a character, giving them a new arc, since I’ve been playing them since 2023. I understand there is probably not a likely chance I even get considered for this position since I’m not a super social person and never really talk to KPD officers anymore, IC. But I really hope I can get considered for this and given the chance I so desperately want.

Reason #2: I want to enjoy SRP again.
I will be completely honest in this section. Not for pity since it’s my own fault for ruining this server for myself. I just want to get it off my chest. I’ve not been enjoying SRP as much as I used to. Throwing myself straight into KPD as my first ever faction was a mistake I’ve severely paid for. Every faction I join is just to work rather than roleplay because I’m too focused on doing the work in the faction rather than actually roleplaying with others. I want to use this chance if I get given it. To join KPD, the first faction I’ve ever joined. And give it a new try. Not just to arrest people and get tons of quota. In fact, I don’t want to get quota that often. I want to enjoy being part of a faction with people and make actual friends. I want to develop a character through real roleplay. Forcing myself to actually interact with others. And while it’s disappointing to have to admit. I don’t do that when I don’t have a faction. Which is why I want to join a faction I actually know I like.

Reason #3: I want to develop a character
I’ve touched on this a bit in my other reasons. But recently, I feel like I haven’t enjoyed any of my characters. Most of them feel like the same person or a small part of one person. My main characters, Ritsu and Morgane, feel different to me. But also so similar at the same time. Which is why I want to apply for KPD with a character that is so different from me, so that I can get out of my comfort zone. I’m normally a quiet person who doesn’t really talk to anyone. So I figured if I joined KPD with a complete asshole who gathers information on people. There might be a chance that I actually like the characters I make.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?

It has been two years since I left KPD. Can you believe that it’s already been 2 years? Time really flies. Anyway, it’s been two years, so if I’m honest, I have no idea how any of the procedures work anymore. And I feel it would be wrong of me to list my knowledge when I can’t confidently back any of it up. I will list every item and what it does, since I don’t believe that’s changed in the last couple of years, along with the roles. But I want to join the faction to learn more than I ever have, since I join factions to learn how they work.
Main Division
Cadet -> Patrol Officer -> Corporal -> Sergeant -> Lieutenant -> Captain

Cadet goes through training and an exam before moving to Patrol Officer.

Patrol officer to corporal is entirely based on whether you are fit for a promotion.

Corporal to Sergeant is entirely based on whether you are fit for a promotion.

Sergeant receives training on how to lead situations. They also have to take an exam before being promoted to Lieutenant and it’s still determined based on when they are ready to move up
If the captain ever leaves, it’s likely a lieutenant would be promoted eventually when they are determined to be ready! But I can’t confidently say that, and there might be another process involved.

Detective Division
Constable -> Sergeant -> Inspector -> Chief Inspector -> Superintendent

Constable receives training and an exam. If they fail the exam, they are given a second chance before being moved back to whatever their previous role was. They also need a promotion before they can move to Sergeant

Sergeant to Inspector is entirely based on a promotion.

Inspector to Chief Inspector is also based on a promotion, I believe? I am not entirely sure.

The Chief Inspector to the superintendent is similar to what would happen if the captain were to ever leave.

Cadet and above

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?

Kind of a silly question in my opinion, but it’s okay!! They are important; without them, people could literally get away with anything. I mean, just imagine gangs running around with anything to stop them. KPD also adds fun roleplay to the server. People should really use them more honestly! Just imagine the cool investigations detectives can do. And just imagine having a bunch of officers responding to save your friend. So cool. It also adds a faction for players to apply for, giving them motivation to play! I totally wouldn’t have gotten as far as I did on SRP without KPD.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?

I do acknowledge this. While I’m pretty sure training is planned in advance. Either way, I will make sure to show up to the training unless I have a valid reason not to.

The first couple of questions of this application will be a report made in Italy! Following the story of Uzuha Rossi. The questions will be bolded to make it clear. There will also be a switch to a different area midway through this application. That will also be made clear! I wanted to be creative with this, so I hope you enjoy.
Typing sounds in the detective's office. An application is submitted at the front desk with the basic information of a suspected criminal. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to investigate? The front page of the paper had a name on it. An incorrect one. Uzuha Okude. Further investigation into the name turned up a paper from 9 years ago. One name on the front page of it. Published in a paper from Italy. A bunch of writing was on the paper. But one part of it stood out.

“The murder of 3 girls. No arrests made. One witness. Uzuha Rossi. We got an exclusive interview with this witness for those of you wondering who they are.
“Good even Miss. We have a couple of questions relating to the murder of your friends.” Was asked by the interviewer. A young man with no distinct features. The camera panned over. Cutting just before showing her face.
“Of course, ask whatever you wish.”

“Alright, let's get started then.

Your full name, please?
A switch to a different camera. This one above Uzuha and the Interviewer. A different perspective, perhaps?
“My name? Haven’t you annoying reporters asked enough about me? The look on her face was hard to see from the angle they had chosen for this part of the interview. Had that been intentional? “Answer the question, Miss.” A loud bang on the table between the interviewer and her. &f” It’s Uzuha Rossi. Happy?”

The detectives stared intently at the interview from 9 years ago. Already signs of the present Uzuha showing.

“Quite happy. Next question

What is your age?
The camera angle switched to showing the back of Uzuha. Tilted slightly upward so you could see the interviewer's face.
“Are you fucking serious! Whatever, I’m 17.”

The interviewer stared at Uzuha. His face remained blank despite Uzuha's aggression.
“Your pronouns and Gender please?”

Another table slam. “You came here to ask about what happened to my friends, why the fuck do you care so much about who I AM. Focus on them. Just like everyone else does. It’s always blah blah blah. I miss her so much already. It’s never about how the witness to their death feels. Fucking hell. I am Female. I go by she, her pronouns. You’ve already called me miss, so I don’t know why you are even asking this bullshit!”

SWITCH TO NEW INTERVIEW
Uzuha turned around. Scars showing on her face for a moment. Before her fist slammed straight into the camera. Cutting off that section of the interview. Leaving only questions. Questions that could only be answered by Uzuha herself. On the application sheet, her number was written down. 030-945-2087. And so a call was made. She made it to the second portion of the application process. The police interview.

Uzuha walked into the interview room. Placing her bag down next to her. “You actually considered me for this position? That’s shocking.”
The application interviewer clicked a pen. “I doubt you’ll get the job. You even lied on all the questions, which means we are going to start by asking some basics. Starting with the first question.

What is your highest level of education?
"I completed high school in Karakura. I barely passed, then went to college for a law degree. I dropped out before even completing my first year, though. So I suppose my highest level of education is high school. Also, that wasn’t the first question on the application sheet. The first question was my name. Why are you starting with this question?”

The interviewer ignored her question. Moving on to the next one.
What languages do you know besides Japanese?"

She stared at the interviewer. What were they hiding from her? “Italian. I was born in Italy, so besides Japanese, that’s all I know. I don’t intend to speak about it around anyone since I like to keep what I know a secret.”

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?

A street camera zooms in. A ballistic mask was taken off in the middle of nowhere. Under that mask is Uzuha's face. Scars going down her face. The camera's detail is the only thing that really shows the scars. Most of them faded, requiring the viewer to zoom in further. Upon further zooming in, there is a looming frown on her face. Not going away. Her unnatural purple eyes come into view as the person viewing the camera looks around her face. A slight reflection bouncing off the colored lens. Another zoom-in reveals purple hair that matches the purple eyes. A favorite color?
After a short time of staring at her face, the camera zooms down. Blackout. She disappears around a corner for a minute before coming back out in regular clothes. Cute for someone who was just in a clean blackout just a moment ago. A picture of her was taken through the screen. A picture of her was saved. Shortly after printing, noises followed as the picture of her was placed into a file - “Uzuha Rossi.”
Picture of Uzuha Rossi.
1773542404286.png
Going back to the room where the interview was taking place, they noticed the obnoxious smell of lavender coming off the adult in front of them. In the exact same outfit she had been seen leaving in. Her file was placed down upon the table. She stared at the picture of herself.
“So what? Prove I did anything. I dare you.”

“How do you act in a professional/casual situation?”

After the last question, Uzuha seemed more relaxed than ever in her seat. As if she wanted them to see that scene of her. She adjusted her hair as the next question was asked. Professional and casual situation? She sat up in her seat once the question had been asked.
“You don’t get to know how I act in a casual situation. And if you do want to know how I act in a situation like that.” She leaned even further into the seat, touching the face of the interviewer. What a weird person. “You’ll just have to get to know me better. And right now? You aren’t off to a good start trying to figure out about my personal life in a professional setting.” She leaned back in her seat. Of course, she still had to answer the professional situation question. But she took her time. Scrolling on her phone, reading texts from her friends. It was like she was trying to annoy the interviewer.

After a long pause with her being the most annoying she could possibly be, the interviewer cleared their throat.
“How you act in a professional setting. Answer it before you are removed from this office.” After they finally spoke, she reached into her bag, pulling out a stick of gum. Chewing on it for a while. “Give me a minute, would you?” She walked over to a nearby trash can. Spitting out the gum in a nearby trash can. Sitting back down, ready to answer the question.

She took a deep breath. Ready to answer the question.
“Do give me a break, would you? I just went through a break-up. It’s been a long day, I’m sure you understand.” Was that a lie? Only time would tell. “Now, I’m sure you are getting impatient. So I suppose I’ll answer your question.” She wiped tears off her face. “In a professional situation, I like to remain quiet. Fading into the background is something I prefer to do rather than be the center of attention. I listen rather than give orders. Maybe it’ll change someday. But if it does change, you won’t be the first to know, so you shouldn’t worry yourselves about it.” She shrugged. Kept her answer short. All that built up just to say that she stays quiet? What a bitch.

"What is your outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?"

She crossed her legs. Yawning as the question was asked. Was this even the real her answering these questions? The file on her said that she was kind to most people, and here she was being as insulting as possible to the interviewer.
“My outlook on co-workers? That they are annoying and that I don’t need them. Sure, I’ll work with them because I need to for my job. But I don’t intend on becoming buddy-buddy with any officers at the station. Unless they are telling me something actually interesting about their lives. They are officers, so I doubt they have anything like that. I want to be an officer to protect the public better than the other officers. Because I know most officers pretty well, and they don’t do the best job at protecting people. Some of them are slower than a snail. Like, how are you going to let slow people work here? Can’t run to save their lives. Pretty sure a bike could go faster than them. And, even if they can run fast, they don’t know criminals as well as some other people do. Which just makes them useless to me. I’ve had a couple of friends who I recently learned were criminals. So I know how they work better than most people. Of course, I didn’t report them. No evidence after all!”
She stared at the file after she said that. Was she hiding something?

“What is your story?”

She stood up out of the chair
“I refuse to answer that question.”

The interviewer sighed, cutting off the recording device. Of course, nothing of note came out of that interview about her.

Uzuha walked out of the interview. Maybe she had expected that to go better than it had. As she began to walk out of the room, thoughts ran through her head. The interviewer reminded her of everything in her past when he had asked that question. Leaving her full of thoughts about what had happened in her past. She turned around one final time. Staring at the interviewer. “You wanted to learn about me? Too fucking bad.” She walked up to his desk. Slamming a paper down on the desk. The final section of her application. The general knowledge questions.

Backstory - IC
The news report from Italy clicked back on. Details the inspectors deemed not important enough to include in the report.

The camera turned back on. The first angle showed the interviewer from behind as he spoke to Uzuha. A broken camera could be seen in the bottom right corner of the screen. The damages from Uzuha are still clear. The interviewer began speaking after a long, awkward pause. “Are you done having your tantrum, Miss Rossi?" There was another long pause with her staring at the interviewer. Rage on her face. “Get to the fucking questions.”

With that, the interviewer took out a clipboard and got back to the questions. “Happy to hear that, Miss. Now, explain what happened that night. From your perspective.” The question made the rage disappear from her face. Switching back to a face of hers, keeping her expressionless. As if she believed that was the only part in the report. “Well, it was a terrible night. We were going for a walk around the forest. I was having a long day, so my friends were taking me there to cheer me up. That’s all.”

“That doesn’t answer how they died, Rossi.” The camera showed her rolling her eyes while she sat in the chair. “I’m getting to it. Would you give me a fucking minute? My friends died, and you are asking me to hurry up.” She cleared her throat as she returned to the story. “We went to a cabin to relax.” The camera switched to an angle above. Showing the interviewer's face, as this time he rolled his eyes. “Sounds like a fucking cliche, are you giving a fake story, Rossi? Are you going to tell me there was an axe murderer in there, too?”

The camera cut to a new angle. Looking between the two. Uzuha stared at him after what he said. “They died because-” The camera cuts off. The interview ended.
What had she said?
What comes next for her backstory? What happened before joining KPD? You’ll have to find out IC! There is plenty more to learn about her.

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
Of course not. You’d have to be stupid or have just moved here to believe that you can own a pocket knife in the strictest place. I personally think a pocket knife should be allowed in Karakura. Sure, people would go around stabbing each other. But I’d argue that it just gives us more chances to arrest the bad people. More people with knives equals more stabbings. More stabbings equals more bad people in jail. Win-win really. Not that you would actually listen to this, but it’s a fun thought.

Name 5 medical items that do not require a prescription

Dumb question. I shouldn’t even have to answer this question. I’ve lived here for years, do you really believe that I don’t know five items that don’t require a prescription? Whatever.

Wooden Cane
Of course it’s allowed. It’s a Wooden Cane. I hope I never get to the point where I need one of these. Telltale sign of being old, honestly. Or a dangerous criminal that’s been stabbed in the leg 100 times. Not that I would know.

Bandage
For when you have a boo boo. Honestly, bandages are for babies who can’t handle a little wound. I personally believe it’s either stitches or nothing. I’m not spending money on something as stupid as a tiny little bandage.

Paracetamol
Another stupid item. But at least it has a purpose. It’s for people who can’t handle a bit of pain! Bunch of fucking losers, I swear. Just like bandages, if you need paracetamol to handle your pain, you are nothing but a big baby.

Glasses
I can understand getting glasses, maybe. It’s something I would never personally get. I still need to look good, and glasses aren't doing anyone any favors. But if your vision is actually bad enough to need one, sure. Honestly, if your vision gets bad enough that you need glasses, let me know. I love learning about people.

Cough Syrup
Another item for babies. Never once in my 26 years alive have I ever used Cough Syrup. It’s a lame thing to have to buy. Like, be so honest with me right now. Do people ever actually buy this shit?

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?

Laugh. I would laugh. I mean, seriously, imagine stooping low enough to physically abuse an inmate? It’s so funny, honestly. What? You want a real answer to this? You want me to say some bullshit about how attacking people is wrong? I’m not going to do that. Some people deserve it, and it’s a police station full of people with egos. I’ve met some of these officers, and they need glasses. I’ve watched one run into a tree chasing a criminal. Funniest shit. Like, watch out for trees! I’m getting off track, though. What you SHOULD do is probably report them. Not what I would personally do, but it’s probably the right thing to do. Oh, and if laughing gets me in trouble, that’d just be even funnier. It’s not like I’m laughing at the inmate getting beaten up; I’m laughing at the co-worker being lame enough to physically abuse an inmate.

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?

Maybe they shouldn’t have gone out on patrol if they are weak enough to let themselves get beaten up like that? I’m just saying. Officers are properly trained to handle situations, at least I would hope so. Letting untrained officers roam the street would be a great way to get them attacked. So if one of them is even getting into the situation where they are getting assaulted, whose fault is that at the end of the day? As for my answer, if it’s one or two people assaulting them, I’d just jump in and help. Call me dumb for that response. Say something like “Oh, you should have gotten back-up,” but I’m not a coward who is going to call for back-up when there are only one or two people. If it’s a gang, it’s not like I haven’t handled a gang before. They are a bunch of untrained idiots who couldn’t fight without their glorious leader! I’d radio our location out of their sight because again, idiots who would not see me. As soon as back-up was called, I’d get right in there and get the officer out. Officer safety or whatever. Even if I think they are dumb to patrol alone when a gang is after them. I’m something of a hero who saves people from danger.

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?

Again with these stupid questions? I’d help them, obviously. I’m joking. What is the actual point of this question? I don’t get it. It’s not like I’m ever going to catch them doing that. I stay out of officers personal business, so this situation wouldn’t happen to me. If they want to be dumb and help a criminal organization, they can be my guest. But in the extremely hypothetical situation, I found out they were helping a criminal organization, I would do nothing about it. I’m joking, of course, I’m not giving away what I would do here. Come on, that’d be stupid. So I’ll give one way someone would handle it. That someone is not me, though. I’d have my own method since I prefer to do things my own way. Now, you might be wondering how I think someone would handle this situation? It’s going to be a complicated thing here. Extremely complicated… it’s called.. It’s called... Reporting it to the lead detective. I know very complicated. What would anyone else do? Like, you aren’t going to trust a regular officer to do it unless they are a higher-up. And, let’s just be completely honest here. I’m not ever going to be a higher-up. You’ve seen what I’m like in the previous questions. You’d be stupid to let me get to the point where I’m a higher-up. If we are being honest here. I’d rather stay a regular officer. Fewer eyes on me. Which is exactly why I’m giving wrong answers to most of these. Hope you get the idea!

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?

Probably accept it. Come on. Money is money. I need money to afford nice things. You think I’m joking? No, I would take that bribe. Not that I’d actually do anything for a criminal. As a matter of fact, I’d probably take even more money through a fine. Or maybe even jail time. Depends how I feel, really. I’d argue that trying to bribe an officer could be considered obstruction of justice. Wouldn’t that be fun? Accepting their bribe, then fining them and taking them to jail. Any other officer would probably tell you that they would deny the bribe and fine the person for attempted bribery! And deny whatever they are asking for!! But I bet you that if enough money is offered, that officer is going to take that bribe. At least I’m being honest with you. It’s not like taking a bribe is against the law. At least it’s not against the law if I don’t actually do what they request. Which, of course, I wouldn’t. I don’t take orders from stupid criminals. I like to be my own boss when it comes to that kind of thing. After all, if they are trying to bribe me, it’s not like anyone is going to be around to yell at me for taking a bribe. At least I hope not. Criminals are stupid, though. They might try to bribe me in front of other officers. How mad do you think they would be if I accepted that bribe? I hope really fucking mad. I’d love to have officers mad at me.
