No, I disagree because it gives the server a little more realism, drama, and action when it comes to roleplaying at all. Even bears. Even though you will rarely see a bear (maybe even never) in real life, I don't think removing them completely from srp is a good idea at all.

People who don't have discord still are able to see when an advert says that a shop is still open; that's what most shops do. If someone doesn't read the pings, that's their problem if they don't know that a certain shop is opened. Just tell @GemiLightning to put in pings when her shop opens ;-;

+0.5/-0.5 Something like this was suggested with classrooms, but was denied. Sometimes people can't be trusted with these things... I'm not sure if you can make minor changes with the room like you could with classrooms, but if you can't I'd kinda suggest adding that, but it isn't the worst idea.
