Hey, I see my name up there!! I love this guide!! I will say though most Tailors do prefer to use PMC not only for screenshotting but they tailor there too. I don’t recall anyone using SkinMC but hey this guide is very well written and a good explanation to those who do want to learn!

For those who want to get into tailoring the best thing you can do is ask experienced tailors for advice. One of my pieces of advice is to look at others' works and see how they shade and such- but don’t exactly copy their shading style as that’s copying one's work. Instead, explore and experiment with shading to find the style that you like. This will help you stand out and overall have a unique style. Some other tips I suggest are learning how to hue shift and color theory. Hue shifting is your best friend.

Luckily for those who don't know what Color Theory and Hue Shifting are, do not worry. I have made a guide to explain and teach the basics! Click here and it'll direct you to the guide. :)

^^ This Guide is really useful and it has really good advice, but also I did state I didn't find pmc great on my personal experience but it's always great to try it, and SkinMC is usually an unknown website but I feel like it's great for people starting! <33

This fr would've been so useful as a newbie to SRP, very useful guide/information post! (I'm so honored to be on there as a tailor <3) I genuinely had no idea tailors were even an option starting out, so I made my own bases and used/slightly edited NameMC outfits HAHA- T-T

I also personally use PMCSkin3D, I did used to use Skindex though previously for older skins. What's great about PMCSkin3D is that Euphoria offers free palettes for tailors or tailors-in-learning to use! So you can import those palettes into PMCSkin3D and it really helps with understanding SRP shading and whatnot. Just a helpful little tip for anyone looking out to tailor! I myself am self-taught, it's super fun to learn, and practice makes perfect! If anyone has any questions about tailoring, feel free to ask~ :D

Absolutely! I remember starting on SkinMC until I got introduced to PMC. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to tailoring. Again nice job on the guide!

it's so surreal to see your username up there! thank you for the mention
When I first started making skins, I used one that hasn't been mentioned: Skinseed (sobbing), super outdated!!
Started learning PMC, the transition has been a tremendous help for the SRP shading style
