Describe your activity on the server:
I'm active for around 4-8 hours for Mon-Tue. 4-12 hours for Fri-Sat.

What is your motivation for applying?:
KPD has been my most favorite faction I've ever seen on SRP. It has the most funniest gameplay and I've been wanting to apply for ages but I've never really chose to fill out an application and keep the application there. So this time I'm choosing to submit an application and lock in. KPD has inspired me not just by their playstyle and I enjoy just see KPD doing their ICly job so I'd like to apply to this faction and be able to be the one having that playstyle. Also how they cooperate with one another ICly is just interesting to watch, how they host trainings, and deal with crime situations ICly.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
Police are a legal team authorized by a countries government to have access to special equipment and tools after completing police academy training. Upon completing police academy training one can choose to pursue in the career of becoming a police officer or a detective. Unless they'd prefer to take a different route. Location's can be known as a police station where it is a base for where police officer's / detective's go to. These police stations are packed to the brim with officers where in most locations they're provided with police vehicles to catch criminals. The police also work with the law and the law can lead to the government, judges, jury's and they're a legal team which I've stated before. There main purpose is to bring justice towards any criminal that does a crime and with their training its there job to follow a procedure in order to find the criminal which they'd of learnt during their training at the academy. Some academy's may provide better information for those in the Police force which will allow them to do slightly better or some may have taken more training after the academy. Policework also work with warrants and can appear present at court's to work as escorts for prisoners or defendants. Police station's will also receive funding from the government to provide supplies, resources, equipment which they need to keep the station going. They're also supplied with badges and a pay which they receive monthly I assume.

Fines, Misdemeanor's & felony's.

A fine is when a small crime has been committed but isn't that important to be arrested for.

Fine's are used to fine people if they do something that the law says they shouldn't but isn't that important to have them be arrested for. Fine's are mostly taken to court OOCly which can be reviewed by a judge if they are unable to pay for them then they may attempt to plead as innocent. Fine's can sometimes from range 20$-500$ OOCly. Fine's in SRP are things such as, illegal possession of a fake ID, illegal possession of 20+ items,. These fines can range from 5k-50k depending on how much someone is carrying on them.

A misdemeanor is a crime which is committed but isn't a violent / dangerous crime.
Felony's are a violent crime which aren't a misdemeanor such as.
Misdemeanors can be such as:
Shoplifting, theft, fraud., assault, tampering with government equipment, misuse of government equipment, embezzlement, evasion, etc.
FELONY > Attempted capital murder, accessory to capital murder, manslaughter, assault with a weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, etc.
Felony's can affect one's gameplay ICly. Upon being arrested with an illegal weapon or weaponry KPD is allowed to raid your apartment, I'll talk more about it soon,

Warrants & how they affiliate with the police.
Warrant's are like a permission slip. But in order to get this permission slip you'd need to present hardcore evidence that someone might be keeping illegal weapons, committing crimes within a room of their house and once you've got enough evidence and submitted it to a judge they can then review it. If it's accept then the one who has it accepted police will legally be allowed to raid or search the owner's property.

What happens when you're /jail'd.
Upon being arrested/detained the officer inside will have access to a database which will allow them to know your character's full name and age if your just detained. If your character has been arrested the officer will know the arrested character's address, pn, name, age. All of this information ICly will be able to lead them to an apartment which with enough evidence / ic motive they'll be permitted to do a raid on their apartment.

Weaponry:
Current weaponry KPD item's are: Police Baton, It is accessible to every officer, requires two hits to the head to knock out the individual, It can be stolen if the person has proper mug permissions and it has a range of two blocks. Stun Blaster, an offensive long ranged weapon used by officers to be able to stun their target / threat. Making their targets unable to move for 60 seconds. It is accessible to all officer. Tranquilizer. Accessible to higher-ups of KPD? Requires a successful hit to make the target / threat go unconscious for 120 seconds / 2 minutes. No roll is needed to use it offensively. Crowbar. Accessible to KPD. A government provided crowbar used to break open doors. Mostly used in raiding apartments. Can be stolen with an action and successful roll with proper mug permissions (Such as breaking & entering into your apartment.).

Defensive:
Current defensive KPD item's are: Handcuffs, accessible to all officers, requires the officer to action to detain / arrest the target and requires to roll if the target choses to resist. Handcuffs cannot be mugged. Pepper Spray. Accessible to all officers. It will require a successful hit to blind someone's character for 60 seconds unless the target is wearing a gas / bali mask. No roll is required to use it. It cannot be stolen / mugged and it has range of two or four blocks. Gas Mask. Can be stolen with an action and successful roll with proper Mug Permissions, used to secure the person's identity.

Essential:
Police Radio. Accessible to all officers. It requires proper permissions and a blunt / sharp weapon to be able to destroy it. It cannot be mugged. Breathalyzer, a device used by KPD and EMS to show how drunk a character is. The Breathalyzer cannot be stolen nor be used offensively. Riot Shield. A hardened-glass shield used by members of KPD for protection against threats. Accessible to members of KPD. Can be mugged if the officer is unconscious with proper Mug Permissions.

Itemrp:
Luminol Spray. Accessible to all officers. Can be used to see if a weapon, mask or surface has blood on it. Body Camera. Is constantly recording 24/7 from the players point of view.

Each of these ranks are listed in order to assign a better view at it. Cadet is your basic take's phones does reception type of stuff so mostly the one to answer calls at reception, file reports, notify Patrol Officer's or Detective's if there is an on-going crime and KPD need to be dispatched somewhere. Patrol Officers are those KPD you see running around through plaza into power plant then towards and in the shopping district take a walk towards K block through the sewers and end it by going through the beach and back to the station. A Patrol Officer's main role is to patrol around Karakura making sure no one is committing crime and the streets are safe. Corporals are the next step up from a Patrol Officer which is great for them. Corporal's supervise how a KPD act's or does police involved stuff technically like a person who will give good criticism on you or bad criticism on you depending on how your performance is in KPD. Sergeant's are technically like a Corporal just a few changes to it really. Corporal's are the first line of management within the main police division who mostly focus on giving guidance to people, other KPD. Also ensuring that everyone in the workplace is doing it efficiently but Isn't overwhelmed at all and is managing to get the work done and they are also able to train other member's of KPD. A Lieutenant is someone who plans KPD activities and oversees the base foundation of KPD being able to view it as a direct higher up to the KPD faction gaining access to more stuff then regular KPD.

Detective Constable are those who will go and collect evidence from a various of crime scenes including crime reports which is used to gain evidence in court or help manage to uncover more a misty situation. Detective Inspector is an officer who is able to investigate crime stated within in the name by are the ones who will most likely go to any crime scene possible and check it through and through for any evidence or possible mix-up's someone made which could of left a bit of useful evidence. Detective Superintendent so those who hold the rank of Superintendent have the most important role in that division which is leading the detective division which includes listening to complaints, doing paperwork changes the policing system and focuses on getting people out of a dangerous area safely. Commissioner is the most highest ranking within most police force's sometimes they don't have a Commissioner in there country their duty is to LEAD the KPD faction with strategic planning to ensure a safe plan and daily activities KPD can do to ensure they do their job safely without any troubles, also the Commissioner is able to get more over-rule permission such as patrolling by their self, going to a crime scene alone.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Police are important to SchoolRP for realism. Without KPD this server will suffer and due to more than half of the server doing criminalrp it would cause a cycle of chaos but as of now KPD is a strong force which has been given proper legal ICly equipment to put away criminal's with a low risk of getting injured / attacked. Police are also useful due to some deliquentrpers who choose to street race or when citizenrper's try to trespass certain areas. KPD are able to take them away and due to an entire system they're able to take their case to court which number 1 wouldn't be possible without KPD in the first place and another pointer is food chain which can also be a term used for the strongest. KPD in a group is quite strong but on there own they can be quite fragile to gangrpers but if Police didn't exist on SRP then gangs would run wild and do what they freely want or would like to do. KPD are ontop of the food chain as now, refraining from gangs to do what they wish to do and refraining from them running wild.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes I am aware.

Grade-12

What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
Italian, Russian.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Marco Rēzun standing at 5’4. His waving black hair which would fall down to his eyes, his hair would slowly remind you of his eyes, barely matching the top of his eye’s as you notice a dark tint towards his eye, showing a slightly green flickering color. His old, outdated, out of touch clothing would make him stand out as an odd one in a herd of sheep. As you walked past the 5'8 male you'd get a hint of Lynx gold wood & fresh vanilla scent.

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?

Professional Situation:

In a professional situation Marco would stay a mature, serious manner. Keeping non-biased opinions until asked for his opinions. Marco would also change his facial expression to keep a more serious manner in a professional situation, changing his tone to a more mature one, beginning to think before he speaks. He'd also be keeping a calm breathing as well as a straight sitting position. Marco would listen to instruction's via a superior officer when asked in any situation. But Marco will listen and follow them as best as I possibly can within a professional situation.

Casual situation:
Marco would be relaxed in a casual situation, mostly would be spending his time around town running or in the forest exploring. He'd enjoy the great wonders of the out door's, taking each moment as a valuable essence of experience. He'd enjoy a casual situation while still being ready to attend to work. He'll maintain enough energy where if something were to happen he could be able to spring into energy!

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Marco's outlook on co-worker's and teamwork? His outlook on co-workers would be quite significant towards them. He appreciates his co-workers each day that passes, helping his co-workers out in any way or struggle they're in to the most he can. His appreciation for his co-workers is so dearly he'll endanger himself on to the job to save his co-workers if they're in a bad situation, only if Marco is aware there aren't any better options then he'll still choose the best option to save his co-workers.

Marco's outlook on teamwork is quite important. He views teamwork to be an essential part of completing a task when assigned with a group. He value's communication whilst teamwork is needed, encouraging teamwork each step of the way. As teamwork is required in being an active member of KPD Marco will often ask if anyone require's assistance with anything.

What's your character's backstory?
Marco Rēzun was a man born in Italy during 1985. Marco was born in Cefalù, Sicily. It was a warm sunny day when Marco was born. The birds were singing, the clouds were breezing by, the sun was like a warmth and mild heat that comforted you as it landed onto your skin. 1989 was when Marco finally was able to walk properly but was still struggling with the ability to speak Italian or understand it well. During the next two years, Marco will be able to speak in conversations using their main language, which is Italian. During these years he would begin to go to school, starting to get an education after his parents decided that he was ready. During the first few years in school he would struggle to understand most parts of writing. Finding it difficult to start conversations, write or do tasks properly whilst writing words in Italian. During the next year he would study his Italian, get a better understanding of writing and conversing while writing in Italian. He would also begin to take a few interests in a couple of games, yet he wouldn't spend his time making friends at all. He'd rather just sit and watch, eating alone in a corner. During the next few years, entering high school, he would develop a public speech problem which would cause him to stutter when speaking in front of a crowd. He managed to avoid this issue by staying away from any type of public speaking he could be able to do, which involved him appearing absent for speaking events, and graduation, which caused some minor to major educational problems. Upon graduation, he would find a college to move to. Before he moved, his parents would celebrate him going to a university to continue his studies. Over the first year of his studies, he would find a woman that felt like love at first sight. During the next year he would confess his feelings to the woman. After the past year of asking her to hang out. He chose to risk it... And she chose to accept it, confessing her recent feelings for him as well. After a while, she would have gotten feelings for him.. When they were both close to turning 21, This tragic event would have caused a lot of problems and confusion. During the next months, a newborn will be brought into this world. Upon this newborn being born, the woman disappeared once they were discharged. During this recent event, Marco would be forced to contact his parents to take care of the newborn. During the next few years at university he would stop after getting his Master's in college. Upon returning home, his newborn would be 2 years old. Whilst they were 23, he would go on to take a teaching job at a nearby school to help with his public speaking issues and to get a source of income whilst living with his parents. During those years, he would rack up enough money to move to Korea where he learnt a bit of Korean and some Japanese, becoming fluent in it, whilst their child learnt Korean. During those next years, he would work as an assistant teacher. On him turning 37, he would see an advert in Japan for people to join KPD in a small town called Karakura. During the next year, he would contact people nearby in Karakura to prepare everything, already having the qualifications needed and a place to move to. He would move there with his child when he recently turned 38, along with their child. Yet his child chose to go to his grandparents, wanting to live there instead. Leaving Marco confused he'd allow his child to go, yet he'd still focus on this job.

General knowledge

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
"No you cannot! That would be a crime called possession of illegal weaponry."

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
"Wooden cane, bandages, cough syrup, paracetamol, melatonin."

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
Marco would immediately take note that all officer's of KPD have body cameras on 24/7 while on the job, Marco would then immediately radio for a higher-up or another officer of KPD to possibly come to the holding cells to be able to be a third party. After that Marco Rēzun would attempt to approach the co-worker from behind or the side, attempting to restrain the said co-worker until another co-worker or higher-up is present. If none are viable to be present then Marco Rēzun would attempt to possibly either, lock his co-worker in the cell while getting the inmate out or knocking out the co-worker while getting the inmate to safety. Marco would then radio for any available EMS to possibly do a check-up on the inmate and the unconscious co-worker. Then Marco would quickly report his body camera footage to an available higher-up at that time.

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
"If a co-worker is being assaulted I'd lean over to police radio saying: Code 8, powerplant or wherever its taking place. I'd then unholster my stun blaster, approaching one of the armed foes. I'd then attempt to dodge their attacks and try to get my co-worker out of there while I wait for backup if I got a response. If I didn't get a single response I'd then attempt to try and stun the enemy. My main focus would be to attempt to stun both of them if my co-worker isn't terribly harmed. If my co-worker is terribly harmed I'd attempt to get them out of the situation, praying that backup arrives on time."

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
Due to the body camera if it isn't broken, faculty or taken off Marco immediately go to report a higher-up about said co-worker with evidence. If the body camera is not there Marco would immediately go to inform a higher-up about what has recently happened. Despite no evidence Marco would attempt to gather evidence. He’d go towards the said corrupt person with a phone hidden in his shorts which would be recording. Marco would ask if he could assist in this organization blinded by greed he’d state. Attempting to gather a close relationship with the corrupt KPD. Slowly deeming themself worthy to them attempting to collect enough evidence. Upon obtaining enough vital evidence Marco would present it all to a higher-up of the faction.

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
"I'd simply turn down their petty bribe, reminding them that is an act of Obstruction of Justice. Along with a fine for bribery. So I'd arrest them for Obstruction of Justice, along with a fine for bribery."

DENIED
After having carefully reviewed your applications, the higher-up team
has decided to unfortunately deny your application to join our faction.

We appreciate your efforts and your motivation to join our faction, but
we have made this decision based on the following reason(s)

COMPETENCE
-
Due to the vast amount of applicants that try their best to get into the
faction, we sometimes have to deny good applicants because there are
others that have been deemed as better choices, whether it's due to
server reputation or due to the detail that was put to their application.

REPUTATION
- A decisive factor that influences our decision is server reputation. We tend
to pick players who have been in the server for a while, and that have a
relatively clean history. We suggest applying for other factions / community
teams to improve how other players see you and boost your chances at
becoming part of our faction!

ADDITIONAL NOTES
If you need further assistance, you can privately message
me (@Yonio) or any other available Admin+ via Discord
so that we can solve any other inquiries you may have
