My activity on the server.
Currently, I must admit that I'm not as active on SRP as I could be. It's a mix of both burnout from the factions I'm in, along with the exhaustion of constant work from classes. Either way, this has caused my activity to drop from 6-7 hours a day down to 2-3 hours per day. But! That doesn't mean I'll be inactive in EMS because my previous time in EMS taught me not to overwork myself. I now know not to work several hours a day, but I can still dedicate at least an hour or two per day to just being on my EMS profile! And that doesn't mention calls. As long as I'm not asleep, I can almost always respond to EMS broadcasts or calls, because I usually don't pay attention to class... shhh. Overall, I have at least 6 hours free per day if I ignore my math class for a bit.

But wait, there's more!? That's right, there is one more thing that will make my activity in EMS just a bit worse than it was last time. That issue is other factions! I am also in government and work for 5 other shops. Don't think that means I'll be inactive though! Because shops only open certain hours of the day, and there are other employees other than me who can do shop openings. I'm a senior employee of two years and a manager of one, meaning I usually let others take my spot to give other employees a chance to be active. And government, I usually only get on for warrants and non-guilty pleas, which take 5-10 minutes at most, unless I have trials, which can take an hour or two. However, I can constantly multitask if needed. Overall, while this may impact my activity, I won't let it make me inactive in the faction, as I've been able to handle all my current factions perfectly; therefore, replacing one faction with another shouldn't hinder that.

One final thing... don't worry, this one is more positive than my last two paragraphs. It's that... my college classes won't last forever! They are only for over the summer, so once they end, I will be free for upwards of 8 or 9 hours per day during the school year! Meaning that I will be able to treat even more patients! I will still have school work... I know, shocking, but I don't think that work will take longer than an hour or two, as high school work usually isn't that demanding, mainly because I'm a senior in my last year with much fewer classes than in previous years.
Overall, I would rate my current activity on the server a 6/10, but it should rise to about 8/10 in the following months!

Side note, in August, it's pretty much the same thing all month. September is when it will be different! Hopefully, by that point, I'll be in EMS.

DisgracedAngel - Judge, Adult, College B, Grade 12
BeepGracedBoop - Nurse (Leaving if accepted), Adult
DisgracedRat - Grade 12

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:

I have plenty of different experiences with roleplay! Let's break them all down, shall we... or me, I'm writing this alone. First of all! The biggest one of them all. Now you may have heard of this game before... It's called D&D, also known as Dungeons & Dragons. Yeah, I'm a nerd who plays Dungeons and Dragons. However, it has been great for developing my role-playing skills and is probably one of the reasons I liked schoolrp so much in the first place. Dungeons & Dragons has laid the foundation for role-playing for me... even though it wasn't technically my first role-playing experience, I won't discuss my old Roblox role-playing days. Moving on, it has helped me figure out how to roleplay like a normal person, build characters, create characters, and so much more.

The next bunch of roleplay experience I'll break down into one paragraph because I've been part of too many to separate each one into its section. You may be wondering what these are... It's SRP factions! I've worked several factions during my time on the server. These factions include EMS, KPD, Judge, Professor, Teacher, and, last but probably least, the Council. For the record, I can barely count council; I did nothing in that faction. Anyway, all of these factions have helped develop my role-playing in many different ways! KPD and EMS are helping me understand the basics of patient care, how bad I am at being a psychiatrist, and how to deal with criminals and make characters that are traumatized. I mean, have you seen Katie? Professor and Teacher, well.. They helped me realize that not every faction is for me, and I could never be a professor or teacher in real life. Council, I did nothing in that. I will not go into more depth on that. Judge and Nurse are my current two factions, and they have helped me develop more silly characters! Well, mostly Judge. Because before, most of my characters were just depressing. And while Yuki isn't different from that, I do want to use the experiences from those factions to make a character go from a sad life to a happier one!

Next up is... drum roll please. Oh, right, this doesn't have sound. Okay, awkward, it's sub-factions on SRP! These being gangrp and shop worker! Gangrp has helped me meet new people and learn how to roleplay with different types of people, as the SRP factions I've been part of don't precisely have criminal characters in them. And it's beneficial to know how to interact with criminals, as they are the main people you will be treating in EMS, or sports team members... oh, the horrors. And shops have helped me learn how to interact with all different types of people, similarly to how gangrp has! But instead of committing crimes, I'm just seeing what criminals buy daily or just how regular people shop. Not too interesting, but it has helped me learn how to detailrp actions a bit more.
What is your motivation for applying?

I have many different reasons for wanting to apply. The first being that I loved my first time in EMS. During my time there, I had some negative thoughts about it. I'll be honest, but the issue wasn't with the faction on its own, but more so with the players who were being unreasonably toxic towards EMS at the time. While that will never disappear entirely because toxic players will forever exist, and there isn't much we can do about that, I genuinely want to come back and do better at ignoring those comments. The support from other EMS during that time, when I was very close to crying several times from how bad people were treating EMS, only to see a message saying I was doing a good job. It genuinely made things so much better and was one of the reasons I felt so bad leaving the faction. And while I was laughing off the comments with funny images, it did hurt quite a lot dealing with all the rude comments. But after taking several months to think about it, I would love to come back and take the faction at my own pace rather than how the toxic players wanted me to take it. Because, seriously, the number of times I saw people complain about EMS not getting on was painful, especially after I switched to another character to roleplay with them.
The second reason is a much less sad one. It's just because I'm super interested in medical work! When I first applied for the faction, I had no intention of pursuing a career in hospital work in the future. But now that it's been a year, I've had a growing interest in working in a hospital setting in the future. Not as a doctor but as a pharmacist! I would actually love to gain a bit more experience with the treatments that doctors perform. I've recently learned just how much pharmacists interact with doctors, or at least the specialty I want to focus on as a pharmacist. And how much do you have to know to be a pharmacist, because they don't just dispense medication! Shocker.. but I didn't realize that until a few months ago, don't judge.
The third reason I want to apply is to develop my character, Yuki Takako, further. As you will read later on in the application she is a pretty dull person and while I could stay in a gang on her and continue that I want to join the hospital faction with her so she can be developed more as a character and start becoming an interesting person that's more than just a nobody that doesn't do anything good in her life. Because, truthfully... Chihiro was a boring character who just existed for me to work without having to interact with anyone. And while Yuki acts a similar way to Chihiro, I want to use my time in the faction to develop her into being more than just a character made to work because it's a problem I have with factions where eventually I don't roleplay in them anymore and just simply... work. It's a sad reality, and I want to use this time in the faction to fix that and interact with more hospital workers, getting to know people better! Something I struggle with.

Which role are you applying for?

Doctor

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?

I have a lot of knowledge of the roles within the hospital faction. My knowledge of them is as follows.
Ranks of the hospital
Trainee
The role you are given when you first join EMS! You have been given the basic EMS items for your respective branch of the hospital. You are not able to go off duty as a trainee and go through a few weeks of training before being given an exam to decide if you are ready to be promoted to the next rank!

Resident
The role is given after you pass the exams. Residents can go off duty and do every treatment their branch of the hospital can do! No new items are given to them, as they are just trainees after being promoted and therefore are pretty similar in what they can do, aside from being able to go off duty and perform every treatment.

Attending
Attending doctors/psychiatrists can train new members of the hospital in their branch! They can still go off duty whenever they like for a certain amount of time per week, but are also not given anything new either.

Clinical supervisor/Deputy chief paramedic
The first rank is considered a higher-up! They can let people go off duty whenever a resident or attending asks them! They can also train new EMS and possibly give exams!

Clinical lead/Chief paramedic
The highest role in each branch! They are in charge of their entire branch, and any branch-related issues usually go to them! They can train new EMS, let EMS go off duty, and give exams to them!

Director
The highest position in the hospital. They are in control of the entire hospital, and serious issues go to them. They, along with every other higher-up, decide who gets into EMS! This is a staff-only position.
What each specific role does

I can't just list every rank of the hospital and what they do. That's mostly common knowledge! So next up is what each specific branch does in the hospital. Based mostly on what I know from my time there.
Psychiatrists
Psychiatrists help people talk about things and diagnose any mental illnesses someone might have! They are essential to Karakura, considering the craziness of some people in Karakura... or they help out if someone needs someone to talk to. Having experienced this aspect of the hospital myself, I know they spend a lot of their time setting up appointments with patients and conducting sessions with them, either in groups or one-on-one. They will discuss what's going on in the person's life, and overall, avoid doing too many physical things in the hospital, focusing instead on the mental side of the hospital. Even if some psychiatrists need a psychiatrist themselves...
Doctors
The more physical side of the hospital. They tend to be the ones responding to broadcasts as usually psychtraists have meetings lined up in advance rather than immediately needed.that doesn't mean psychiatrists don't also get broadcasts just doctors get them more.. okay you get the point! Anyway, Doctors treat wounds and can even conduct check-ups to ensure patients are doing okay, especially if they suspect a serious illness. Or just a regular disease like the flu, either way, doctors do check-ups for them! Although entirely optional based on the doctor, I don't think I did more than four check-ups during my time as a doctor.
Paramedics
While the update to paramedics occured after I left meaning this information is much less likely to be as accurate what I do know is that they are the only people in the hospital that go on patrols and are not something you can apply for! They can do what psychiatrists and doctors do but they are usually the last line of defense if neither doctors or psychiatrists are around. They also receive ambulances that they can drive, and they are the ones who respond to calls regarding picking up a patient from a location.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?

I acknowledge that if training is held while I am online, I am expected to attend. I will make sure to clear my schedule before any training to make sure that I have time to attend them!

Character’s Full Name:
A female sat in the seat. After a while of silence, she responded to their first question, staring at the interviewer.

My name is Yuki Takako. Surely you already know this. I don't care about formalities; get to the main point of this interview.

Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
Another pointless question as she rolled her eyes. For someone who needs this job, she didn't seem to be the most friendly person.

Again, you should know this; why do I have to repeat what is obvious? My ID card should say it all, which I submitted beforehand. But if you must be so formal, I am female and I go by the pronouns She/Her. Happy now?

Character’s Age (if accepted):
After her comment on the last question, it was clear how annoyed she was, having submitted her ID card beforehand and wanting to make this as quick as possible.

27 years old. Hurry it up with the questions, I do not have all day.

Character’s Academic Background:

She rolled her eyes at the interviewer. There was absolutely no chance someone with only a high school education would have any chance at getting into medical school.
Academic background? I passed medical school, must you ask such pointless questions? Why would I be trying to work here if I didn’t pass school? Fine, I have a master's degree. Are you happy now?

Character’s Nationality:
Looked herself up and down. Despite it being a fair question to ask, she of course had a comment to make about it.

Do you have to know this? Why should you care about my nationality? I was born in Japan to two Japanese parents. So obviously, I am Japanese.

Character’s Marital Status:
Showed her fingers that had no ring on them. Still confirming their question, although it's unlikely anyone would want to date Yuki Takako.

Single. I do not care for people; it will never be anything more than that. Love gets in the way of work, and I will not allow it to distract me.

Character’s Religious Denomination:
She shrugged. Didn't have an annoying comment to add on this question.

I suppose my religion is Shintoism, but I'm not exactly a devout follower of it.

Character’s Spoken Languages:
She just sighed. No other body movements other than as she answered the question.

I speak German and Japanese. That’s all.
(I will be applying for German if accepted into the hospital faction!)

Character Backstory:
She shook her head. Refused to answer the question.

Of course, Yuki wouldn’t talk about her backstory, considering how incriminating it is for her. All of this information is OOC rather than IC.
Chapter 1: Before Karakura
Yuki Takako grew up in a mostly happy family! Although she had a couple of mental issues that made her less social than others. But that didn’t stop her from living a normal childhood! Despite joining a gang in the future, she had never actually planned to do so and had only joined to replace someone for a short period, not realizing just how deeply she would become involved with the gang. Despite how friendly her family was, she wasn’t very kind herself! And often would get into arguments with others, not knowing how to stop herself from doing so. Eventually, after turning 21, she moved out of her hometown into Karakura.

Chapter 2.: In Karakura
When she moved to Karakura, she had only moved for one reason: to join a specific, unnamed organization. After several months, she had committed several crimes, despite her initial willingness to do so; eventually, she began to regret everything she had done. But she could never quite voice her regrets to anyone. She continued to help out the organization, remaining silent about any disagreements she had with how they handled things. After all, the person she was covering for probably wouldn't be happy if she got demoted. Her loyalty, or in this case, her inability to speak up, got her promoted to the lead of her division. With nobody else left in it to take her place, she had to take it and ended up being considered a higher-up in the organization. Finally, the time came when the person she was covering for came back. And despite how much she wanted to speak out about what had gone on in the organization, she remained silent, returning to focus on her dreams of being a doctor with a new goal: saving the people who continued to be harmed by what remained of the organization.

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Of course, Yuki didn't smile at the question, but she did seem at least more pleased that they were actual important questions. Of course, she had to be a bitch about it, whether she wanted to or not.

Emergency medicine is my medical specialty. Why I chose it to focus on? You sure are nosy about me. Why should you give a shit about why I decided something? Fine, I will explain to you why if it will get this over with quicker. I went down the path of emergency medicine because it's what interests me the most. I've lived a dangerous life that you don't need to know about, interviewer. What I've done in the past was considered to be dangerous, and there were several times where everything passed quickly than I could even pay attention to. Yet, I still loved every minute of it. No, I will not be telling you what I did for a job before this, after all, it's none of your business. I'm here to be a doctor, not give my life story. Anyway, during this time, I learned my love for those fleeting moments that can decide someone's fate. I like things to be done quickly, if it wasn't evident from how I acted during this interview. The quicker the better. I do not like wasting my time, but of course, I will still be doing regular doctor work, so that's unavoidable. But I would like to focus on something that is quicker rather than longer. Maybe my mind will change eventually, but for now, that is why I love emergency medicine. Are we almost done with this?

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
She gave a nod. No annoying comments again? Wow shocker.

Yes, I do have work experience in a medical position. I was an intern at a hospital on the mainland. I quite enjoyed the two years there. I was an intern from the ages of 25 to 27, after which I moved back here. Obviously, but those two years did help me learn hospital work. Everyone should know that knowing something is more about physically doing it than learning it. Hence, it's recommended to be an intern somewhere to learn the basics better. Why the fuck am I explaining this to you? I'll hurry it up. The first year consisted of learning how to work in a hospital, as I hadn't worked in one before, and they wouldn't trust a random 25-year-old around the hospital unless they could prove themselves. I could have left after the first year and considered that enough, but I decided to stay a second year to focus more on what I specialize in to get even better at it. After all, I wasn't there to know everything; we all have to focus on something. Hospital work is too broad to focus on a single aspect. Shit, I'm rambling on again. I dislike you for making me talk this much. That is all I have to say about what I did. That is all the experience I have. Two years as an intern or whatever you call it at the hospital.

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Yuki Takako is an impatient person; that much is clear. Perhaps she has issues paying attention, or maybe she is just a busy person, or a bitch. Any of the options are on the table; you need to get to know her better. She isn't the type of person to explain her life in detail, which is clear; the reason for this is also unknown to most people unless you find the right people to ask about Takako. At the interview, she did seem to be dressed rather nicely and did care about her appearance. A significant change to those who had seen her back when she was 22. What had happened between those 5 years? Perhaps people will never know, because, as mentioned previously, it's pretty challenging to obtain information from her. What makes her unique... I'd have to say that she is exceptional in just how much she pretends to hate what she is doing. How can one act like they don't care and then go on to tell about how they spent an extra year in a hospital just because they wanted to get even better? Maybe what makes her unique is what's going on in that mind of hers? Or perhaps it's how frequently her actions change. One day she is relaxed, the other she is being a bitch in an interview. Maybe something is there. You will have to find out through interacting with her. It's not easy to give a clear answer on how she would be perceived, as her mood changes frequently from day to day. So I won't answer that one. You will have to perceive her yourself to give an opinion.

How does your character act around the hospital?
Yuki's behavior around the hospital depends on what exactly is going on. Suppose someone comes in and talks to her without telling her what they want. In that case, she will usually be rather hostile, to the point of being mean, especially if they ask obvious questions, such as asking if she is a psychiatrist, which she will become mad about and tell people to figure out themselves. This is completely opposite to when nobody is in the hospital, where she will be calm, just staring off into the distance, waiting for people to enter, despite how angry she usually gets at people when they arrive. If someone comes into the hospital and asks for treatment, she won't show too much emotion because she doesn't care for anyone, in the break room... You won't find her there; she is either working or not in the hospital because she doesn't take breaks in the break room. If there are other people at the front desk with her, she won't interact with them unless they interact with her first because she doesn't usually socialize unless forced to.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?

She functions better with others despite what everything about her suggests. She actually prefers working with others because, while she won't mention it, she does need the help of others, especially if someone has more than one injury. If she is feeling in a better mood, she will ask them to treat certain things. Still, if she isn't in a good mood she will assume they know what to do and work on whatever she believes she will do best at unless they ask her what she plans on treating only then would she give them an answer because most of the time on bad days she will not bother to talk to people unless answering something they asked. When it comes to treatment, she likes working with others, but at the end of the day, she would rather be at the front desk alone with nobody bothering her. Or at least that's how she acts, so it must be how she feels, right? Surely she doesn't want to be with others... she did seem to struggle leaving the room with the interviewer, maybe a part of her never wants to be alone, but she can't bring herself to ask that.

DENIED
Firstly, thank you for applying to the Hospital Faction, and we appreciate your interest. However, after discussing your application with the higher-ups, we have unfortunately decided to deny your application this time around.

This decision was made based upon the following reasons:

- When choosing applicants for the Hospital faction, we tend to look for individuals with a decent reputation on the server. You can try to apply to other factions or community teams, or interact more around the server, to boost this!

Nonetheless, we encourage you to keep an eye on the Karakura Emergency #announcements channel for future application waves, and to re-apply at a later date if you're still interested.

This decision was made as a collective among a group of individuals. rather than a single individual. Any DMs to members of the faction and/or higher-ups will be ignored and referred to this response.
