In the case where I know I’m not able to make the required openings in a month there will almost always be a valid reason and even if I’m busy either my co-owner or managers will be able to reach activity. In the case where they can’t reach the required openings either and I have a valid reason I will almost always put an inactivity log stating the reasons why.

What shop are you applying for?:
The shop I am currently applying for will be Sayonara gift store. If I were to get accepted I would rename it to Idō-chū which translate to on the move.

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
I want to become a shopkeeper to have a chance to run my own store! My entire time on the server being a shopkeeper has been a goal of mine. Of course, I’m not very good at writing applications and this faction being a very limited spot faction usually I don’t get in but that doesn’t mean I won’t try every time it opens. I have worked for at least 6 different stores during my time on the server and each one I have loved working for and usually the only reason I ever left them was because the shopkeeper quit the server. I also have worked as a manager or higher-up for 3 of 6 stores I’ve worked at and usually I’m a pretty active employee which is why I want to run a store of my own to experience getting to run a store.

What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
What I plan to do with it
There are many different things that I plan to do with this store to make it one of, if not the most unique store on the server currently with many different plans for the store. Because it would just be one long paragraph if I mentioned them all together I will put them into separate sections where I will explain each one and what we plan to do with it.

Puzzles in the store
To start off the first thing we will be doing with the store is having daily puzzles that people can solve! This will start off as just Wordle but in the future we may add more different types of puzzles. The Wordle however won’t just be a regular 5 letter Wordle but instead a long word that people will still have 5 guesses at but their guesses will be saved for the next customers to come in and attempt to solve it until finally one person solves it and gets a free prize from the store. This will make it so that people can’t just get free prizes from having several friends come to guess the 5 letter word over and over again to get free gifts.

Different store themes
The store will have 3 rotating themes that will switch every 4 months making it 3 themes a year. This theme will be classic where we sell older items like a camera. The second theme being the weird core where we sell weirder items like a mushroom backpack. The third and final theme we will have is punk where we sell things like guitars. This sounds difficult when put on paper however, with it only switching every 4 months there should be plenty of time in those 4 months where we get ready for the next theme making it not too difficult to switch out. And, after the first year it will continue to switch between those 3 themes so after the first year it will be even easier.

The next idea we have isn’t entirely unique but it is still something I don’t see in stores too often. Every other month or so we will have a wheel in the store that people can spin by rolling out of a certain number where they will get a certain discount on their items which will range from a 1% discount to a 100% discount.

Escape rooms
What are they for?
Escape rooms are something we plan to have for applications. Instead of the regular applications where people just type up something which does work fine and is a good way to go about it, we intend to make this store as odd as possible. These escape rooms will be at least every other wave of applicants. Assuming this has probably never been done before or in recent history there will probably be quite a few questions about how this is possible. I mean we had to think about how it was possible as well but we intend to build the escape rooms in another world allowing for us to plan it out. We will also have groups that consist of however many people we are looking to hire and the group to solve it quickest will get hired. If there are any questions when reading this my dms are usually open and we should almost always have answers to questions.

How we hire employees
I mentioned that every other wave will be done through escape rooms so what about other waves? Well our plan for those are to have them be done through scavenger hunts where we plan out a series of puzzles that people will solve around town before coming back to us and depending on how many people we are accepting the top few people will be accepted. Usually top 5 and we will also probably open google form applications during these as well.

How we promote employees
The way we plan on promoting employees is also strange because our goal is to be as weird as possible with it being the main goal we couldn’t just leave promotions out of that! So we came up with two roles above the regular employee spot: those being Employee+ and Assistant managers. The employee+ role will be achieved by being in the top 5 for most openings attended during the month where they will have to pay less owe to us and is just a way to promote activity. The assistant manager position is a bit weirder to get. The first 3 assistant managers will be decided by me and the co-owner but after that every other month they will be able to have their position stolen by other employees. These tasks will vary depending on the assistant manager and any employee can take their position. However, the employees will not be told how to take the assistant manager position leading to them trying different things during their time. Any assistant managers who go 2-3 months without having their position stolen will either be moved down to regular employee or promoted to manager depending on how they do as an assistant manager.

What will you sell in your shop?:
We will be rotating stock with certain items, however the majority of the items we will sell will likely only move location in the store.

Events the store would have?:
There would be a couple events the store would have. We may come up with more events later on in the future but as of currently we have the following events planned
Wordle
I have explained this in an earlier section but this would be a common event that we would probably do every opening or every other opening depending on how much time we have before the opening.
April fools wheel
This event would be a rare event that we only do once per year on April fools where the usual monthly wheel is replaced with a coin flip to decide if you get nothing or spin the bad wheel. The bad wheel is mostly nothing with a small chance at 1% added to your total.

How many employees do you plan to have?:
We plan on having a total of 19 employees including the co-owner. With 3 managers, 3 assistant managers, 5 employee+, and 7 regular employees.

What is your characters backstory?:
Life before Karakura/Early childhood
Hi my name is no wait it’s uhhh.. Priska that’s right that’s how you spell it! My early ~~chilledhood~~ childhood was pretty good I guess. I was a pretty good kid! I did well in school and stuff at least with every class other than writing class I don’t write well. But I was really good at science and math. I was even top of my class in ~~1990 1995~~ 2000? That's ~~write~~ right! 2000. My parents were pretty good and took care of me well! Until they like died I guess. Yeah when I was like 10 they died and I went to live with my grandparents. They were nice I guess but when I turned 18 I moved away to a different part of Switzerland to get my college ~~edcation~~ education. I stayed in college until I was like 26 getting my masters in nursing to be a nurse. Then at 29 I got fired for certain things that happened in the hospital that I legally can’t talk about here. After I got fired I spent another 6 years getting my masters in ~~ecnomics~~ economics getting me two whole degrees. okay and then after getting my degree I ended up here okay now let me talk about my education next because I know I already ~~mentaned~~ mentioned it but I’ll go into more detail

Education
My education was going through primary school which not much ~~happend~~ happened because it was pretty easy. I was actually a smart kid! Although for some reason my writing teachers hated me. Can’t tell y why. Then I went to secondary school during which I ~~excel, xel?~~ I continued to do excellent. In math and science at least in those I took ~~advenced~~ advanced classes and had to get extra help with writing. Then after that I went to matura school which is just the school after ~~secondery~~ secondary school I guess where I focused on math and science! And I did so well that the teachers there ~~recommendanded~~ recommended me to be a nurse or something to do with economics! After that I went to college for nursing where I spent 6 years getting it! I did well in all that the classes. I graduated near top of my class because I was just that good I guess! And following that I went to pursue nursing for 3 years before I got fired and had to do something else so going back to college I took the classes to get a masters degree in economics which took another 6 years off my life where I finally ~~gradauted~~ graduated at 35 which is how old I am now and I’m ready to like become a super good shopkeeper

Jobs after college
Okay so obviously I need experience to be a shopkeeper right so I worked at a couple stores actually. Of course I worked as a nurse in switzerland. I also actually worked part time at a store in ~~switzerand~~ Switzerland while getting my masters degrees working super hard and you can actually contact my other bosses here oh wait I don’t know their number ~~awkwerdly akward~~ awkwardly. Okay but they would recommend me if they could but I forgot their number so hope that’s okay. But anyway yeah I worked at 3 jobs in Switzerland and was really good at them. Anyway okay so after I finished my masters in economics I moved to Karakura.

Life in Karakura
My life in Karakura was okay I guess. I didn’t really talk too many people. But it’s okay I wasn’t a ~~sociel~~ social person but I am super social now and you can trust that. Now anyway I had to move out of Karakura for a brief period of time for a reason I’ll get to later but like I didn’t spend much time there but I’m ready to stay in karakura and own this store forever and stuff!

Jobs in Karakura
I worked at like 2 jobs during my time at ~~Seikatsu~~ Karakura. The two stores I worked at were Seikatsu and Tsuki no Umi although mainly just Seikatsu. I quit Tsuki no umi pretty quickly because I wasn’t very good at it. But I think the owner of Seikatsu or the old owner would ~~recommand~~ recommend me if you could get in contact with him. He was massively in debt or something and quit so I also quit because he was the only reason I stayed in Seikatsu because he was cool and the other owner seemed lame. But yeah those were the stores I worked at but I think it's enough experience to know how to run a store! I’ve also googled how to do it so I know what I’m doing.

Starting a store in Karakura
Those are all the reasons I’m ~~qaulified~~ qualified to run a store. Now I know the spelling was super bad but that doesn’t mean I can run a store. And also I promise I’m really good at what I do even if I don’t sound serious all the time. It’s just how I am!! I’m serious about wanting to run a store, trust me.
