Describe your activity on SchoolRP: I have taken a few months spring break recently, however I am coming back for a longer time and am prepared for staying as active as I can possibly be. Although I still work part-time, I have at least 6 hours free every day to play.

Describe your roleplay experience with SchoolRP and other roleplay networks in general: My first roleplay experience was in May 2020 when I joined SRP after seeing a few random minecraft roleplay videos and pondering whether there are any public servers like that. I've learned a lot in the three years I've been in the community, getting a good understanding of detailrp and seriousrp, and I am well familiar with the server rules. Despite my two bans, I've not broken a rule in 2 years and intend to keep it that way. I also have pretty good teaching experience, being a professor twice and a tutor for almost two years.

What are your current roles on SchoolRP: Currently, only significant roles I have are college.

What is the subject you want to teach?: I would prefer teaching law.

TRIVIA SECTION

What is your motivation for becoming a professor?: A college professor is a profession I am still rather interested in. Ever since getting my college role, it has been a blast, the classes I went to, and later after I got accepted as a professor, it was still really fun and interesting. Second time didn't let me down at all either, finding ways to make a rather dry subject as history was a challenge, but a challenge worth taking, as every interesting class brought joy to me and left happy college students moving out my class. Being a tutor for almost two years was fully worth it, although lack of students and not being able to hold classes hindered me. As of now, I have much more time and motivation, I want to apply for a third time, changing the subject, with plenty ideas and expectations. I also want others to learn about law, how courts are, and give them new experiences.

Work out two interactive classes you will host if accepted:

1. Interactive fake court inside class. I would prepare a solvable, decently difficult case, changed depending on what that days lesson has to be and what the students have been taught already, and assign everyone roles. The students would get debriefed and then simulate a real life court, with all rules applying. There would be no right or wrong statement, guilty or not, it depends on how they see the evidence and the conclusion the students reach.

2. Working on a case, ****yzing the evidence and understanding the weight of it. DNA isn't always enough to arrest and convict someone, and that's what the future lawyers should be aware of, the detective work would also help them in their future lawyer jobs, as in court, they are like their own detectives, unwrapping and solving the case again by themselves.

Work out a field trip (meaning a class outside school grounds) you will host if accepted: I have two ideas for a law related field trip.
#1: We would have a trip to the prison, since most students most likely would have never been in one. See what it feels like to be on the other side of justice, getting a feel for prison, possibly talking to a prisoner or two.
#2: We would take a visit to the courthouse, where I would organize oral arguments in a simulation case in front of a real judge in a real courthouse - and then we follow up with a tour of the chambers, jail, and clerk's office. The students could get a feel for a real trial and learn to be nice to clerks as future lawyers, as well as explore how the actual courthouse looks like and operates.

SCENARIO SECTION

Your character would encounter a group of college jocks surrounding a bobcat jock, what would your character do?: Shon would not rush into conclusions, first taking a listen on what is going on. If the college jocks are harassing the bobcat jock, she would walk over to them, her laid-back charm shining, and ask them to walk away from the student, checking up on him. If they do not comply, a voice raise would follow, now more strict. Ignored as well, detention threat card would be pulled, surely pushing the college jocks away from the bobcat jock. All else fails, there is the trusty warning of meeting the Vice Dean. Shon would check up with the student in the end no matter what, inquiring if he needs medical assistance or help of any kind.

Your character would be supervising detention, one of the students constantly disturbs by asking stupid questions, what would your character do?: Shon would ask the student to keep quiet and do the task they are given, mentioning that the student nor the professor wants to be in detention after school and reminding that the sooner they finish the task, the sooner they will get to go home. If the student keeps going, it would irritate the professor, getting her to raise her voice and warn the student again that they are only extending their stay in detention. If the student still keeps going, Shon would demand they go to a corner desk of the detention room and kindly tell them to keep quiet till end of the detention or finishing the task or she will call the VP/Vice Dean accordingly.

Your character would be hosting a class, and a group of cheerleaders keeps on playing songs on the phone and call out other students in the class, what would your character do?: Shon would ask them to stop calmly, reminding them that this is a class about law, not media, and they should play the songs outside of class. If they keep going, Shon would warn them about disturbing other students who actually want to learn and suggest the group goes to back of the class, where they can do whatever they want, as long as no loud sounds and distractions follow, mentioning it would help both them and the students who take the class seriously. In any case, detention would be her last resort, preferring to solve the issue to everyone's favor, however Shon isn't afraid to issue the cheerleaders a detention warning.

Your character would be walking on the school perimeter and encounter a fight between a couple of students, your character tried to break it up but it didn't help, what would your character do?: Shon would call for backup right away, although sticking at the situation and trying her best to calm the students down. The professor would make her best attempt at ammending the fight, listening out to both sides and finding a compromise, or if the students keep throwing hands, a threat to see each other in detention after school would follow. If even that is not enough, she'd mention a private meeting with VP/Vice Dean if they keep going.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What does they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What is their plan for the future?:
Shon Ji-young has a rather striking combination of features - a rare blend of ginger hair and faint blue eyes. She stands at an average height and her slender frame reflects her below-average weight, giving her a delicate and graceful appearance. Her vibrant hair usually flows down her shoulder or is tied down to a ponytail, standing out against her fair complexion.

Shon has a rather unique combination of being laid-back, fair, diligent and punctual, however she can also exhibit less desirable qualities, such as arrogance, stubborness and perfectionism. She has a rather nonchalant and relaxed approach to life, seemingly easygoing in various situations, however it often contrasts with her less favorable traits. She's also fair, strictly believing in importance of equal treatment, however it can get overshadowed by her arrogance, which may lead to condescending attitude towards others. Shon's unique mix of positive and negative traits create challenges in her personal and professional life, making her constantly work towards cultivating a more balanced approach to life.

The professor's complex personality can give her a challenge at communicating with other faculty members, being a perfectionist, she would easily critique others work and get insulted when getting critique back, however Shon would put her responsibilities and professional relationships ahead of her own emotions, making sure to respond with respect and try her hardest to cool down situations to keep a healthy worth environment.

Shon believes in every student, giving each of them equal teaching, no matter how good they seem at the subject. She doesn't degrade or disregard students who seem to struggle more, giving them help when they need and giving them attention. Shon also holds the opinion that if a student doesn't want to learn the subject, they can simply sit through the class in the back, as long as they don't cause any noise, as she knows it's mandatory to attend classes, and doesn't force them to learn a subject the students are not interested in learning at all.

For her future, Shon is unable to clearly see it yet. Karakura is a very good opportunity, however it might not be the final destination. It all depends on the time there and the students, as every class and every city has different people and culture. She is hoping to settle down, however if experiencing an awful time, or getting presented an even better opportunity, Shon wouldn't hesitate to take it.

Describe how your character ended up becoming a teacher and their previous life. It is optional to include earlier life but recommended.:

Part 1. Childhood
Shon Ji-young was born into a modest family in the capital of SK, Seoul. She grew up facing financial difficulties, despite being the only child. Her parents, who worked tirelessly to provide for the family, instilled in her the values of hard work and determination. Shon's passion for law and justice sparkled at an early age, fueled by the stories of injustice she witnessed in her surroundings.

Part 2. School/Highschool
Despite financial hardships, Shon excelled academically. Having a laid back attidute, yet being diligent, made a perfect combo for doing well in school and making plenty of friends, although her wimpy nature attracted bullies as well, seeding hints of arrogance and vigilance deep inside her. Pushing through elementary, middle and highschool with ease, the woman graduated with excellent marks, a few close friends and high hopes for the future. It should be noted that Shon has shown proficiency with learning languages, crunching through japanese with no problem, even challenging spanish classes on the side.

Part 3. University
she applied and got joyfully accepted into the prestigious Seoul National University Law School, SNU Law for short. Shon's drive and tenacity caught the attention of her professors and peers, who recognized her as a promising future legal scholar. The woman yet again made plenty of friends and a few rivals, her less desirable traits developing alongside her good ones. She became more arrogant, proud of her achievements, perfectionistic and even vindictive, anger deep inside her to anyone who shamed the woman. This led to her losing a few friends, but as years in the university went by, she learnt how to control and balance her bad and good traits better and better. After 4 hard years, a law degree was acquired and without any delay, Shon and her best friend went to Anyang, last step before becoming a professor - the education degree. There, she has learnt to put her work in front of her arrogance, often managing to forgive people and suppress her anger. Graduating with excellent marks, Shon decided to move back to where her studies started - SNU Law, applying and getting gleefully accepted by the staff, who still remembered her as a promising student.

Part 4. After studies
Shon Ji-young was at her highest. Not only she had finished her studies and made her parents proud, she went back to be a professor at the very same university she was once a student in. The woman has shown her resilience and diligence the most, quickly earning the name of the 'Fun' professor while still teaching her students well. Her classes would be a mix of jokes, laughter and actual learning, class trials being her favorite method of keeping the class more fun and interactive. Of course, there were boring, theory classes, but those were unfortunately unavoidable. She worked hard in her 4 years in SNU, supervising the journalism club and earning the head of department title at her last year. Shon learned a lot, mistakes were made but every single one was accounted for and learnt from, and at the end of the 4 years, she felt as if she had improved as a professor and human alike.
In 2020, however, the woman was forced to leave Seoul. Increasing rent, her parents moving out and sudden death of a best friend all impacted her leaving to another city, another chapter of her life - Shon moved to Busan. It was definitely something new, as she has never been in the city before, and the professor was excited about such a change - it would help her dull the ever-lasting pain from the death. Her application to the Pusan National University School of Law was swiftly accepted, and next month, Shon was already a professor in a new university, however it was a bit different. The classes were almost 5 times in size, half the time staying online and half in person. Compared to SNU, the time there was nowhere as good, and even facing harassment from one of the faculty members, she couldn't deal with it anymore. Shon moved out to Japan, leaving behind her parents a bunch of money and a promise to always keep in touch with them. Her prior knowledge of the language has come in handy a lot, helping her get a job in yet another university, this time, the Kyushu University in Fukuoka. Two years of teaching there were a nice breather after her last job and spontaneous changes, almost beginning to settle down with her life. The students were rather calm, the faculty respecting her boundaries and nice enough. However she got an offer from an old highschool friend, Yui Kimura, to move to Karakura. New school, new classes, new students, beautiful beach, it was all part of a deal that was too good not too take, and Shon left for the city. While she felt some guilt in leaving behing Kyushu without any consideration, the professor felt hopeful, moving out right away. As soon as she arrived and settled in Karakura, she applied for a professor position in the Karakura College, carefully filling out her application, with only thing on her mind - no matter what this place has for her to offer, she's ready for it.

Make sure this is over 100 words.
