I’ve had a very consistent activity throughout the server since I started playing in 2021. On average, I’m on for a couple of hours per day. On the days I’m not, I’ve definitely made up for it through playing much longer on other days. So I’ve built up quite some time on the server. Most of my time had been spent hanging out with friends and meeting new people through simple roleplay. But I’ve also been in factions before for a good while because I wanted some new experiences. For my future activity I hope to keep up what I’ve been doing now. Try new things and meet more people. As well as getting more experience when it comes to stuff I haven’t dabbled in yet
When it comes to availability. I’m available. I’ve got a very clear schedule, and I’m on my computer a lot. Unless I’m asleep, I’m usually able to log on anytime if asked to do so. I can easily make quota, show up to events, etc. I’m unfortunately unable to share a specific timetable due to me not having one to follow.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yup! I completely understand. Spots are limited and other people would love the role too. It’d be selfish to hoard a spot like that.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A counselor should always prioritize helping a student over punishing them. They’re here specifically to help navigate their time throughout their years in the school. They offer help when it comes to students' mental load from school, or when they struggle managing everything like homework or simple time management. A counselor should be someone who can help you get back on track if a student were to fall down. Maybe introduce healthy coping mechanisms if they’re struggling mentally. Offer them a safe space just to talk through things. Make sure everything is okay at home, etc. The way I see it, a counselor should support a student as much they can, no matter what. And specifically have a lot of patience to do so.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
In the past, I did not have too much experience when it comes to roleplay. I mean I did dabble. I played roleplaying games with friends on other platforms, as well as did minecraft roleplay through survival servers. I've also dabbled a bit into DND, which was one of my first roleplaying experiences.
I like to imagine I’ve got a fair amount of experience on SRP though! As I’ve mentioned before, I started playing back in 2021 where I first started roleplaying with more experienced roleplayers. I joined a family pretty much on day one, and they took the responsibility in teaching me the very basics needed to roleplay. How to do actions properly, how to initiate things, how to keep things fun for everyone involved. They also introduced me to other branches of roleplay to help me get started on doing what I wanted to do. Over the years I got significantly better of course. I started learning to put much more detail in my stuff, practicing often and actually putting it to use, but also a lot more life. I try to prioritize substance over detail in my actions. But I’m still always trying to improve in both ways! I’ve been really enjoying myself, just getting better.
Also, due to a large portion of my friends coming from School Roleplay, I have been up to a lot more roleplay stuff outside of the server as well in recent times. Though I have nothing notable to mention other than me simply maintaining the love for roleplaying.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
The school is where most people spend their time. Students, faculty, etc. I feel like having a role here is great for me to build more experience, but also a lot more fun due to the amount of interactions to be had in a day. It’s also a place where you generally interact with a bigger variety of the player base. You get to meet and talk to all kinds of different people here. Also, having the adult role, I hardly really spend my time in the school unless I’m on my college character to hang out with friends, hardly doing much else. Joining the school employee faction would be a great way to spend more time in the school part of the server. (I understand how ironic that is considering the name of the roleplay).
I’ve also been in the faction before. I joined the Faculty faction back in June 2024 where I stayed until October 2025! I spent all this time as a Chef, so I had daily interactions with pretty much everybody. I got a lot of experience dealing with people this way, as well as a good understanding of how people (Especially students) operate! This helps me feel pretty confident in applying for the counselor role, as having the patience to deal with any type of person is important, as well as already having an established understanding of the faction.
I also like the bit of freedom that comes with this faction. There’s clear times when to be there and when not to be there. It’s easy to envision what to do, and the schedule is easy to keep up with. I also imagine outside interactions as the role could be very fun as well! Seeing how my character would interact differently with the world.
In conclusion, I like the simplicity of the faction. Easy to understand, not too hard to get started on. As well as the opportunities the faction has to offer when it comes to the people. My past experience has confirmed this to me personally. (But I understand it’s different for everyone :D)

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Before anything else, my character would try to de-escalate the situation immediately in order to gain back control of it. In order to do this, my character hopes to be able to talk to them calmly, be patient and understanding so the student doesn’t feel the need to make themselves bigger and louder to be heard. To avoid any further situations, maybe even try to set up some counseling to talk about this. She’d do everything she could within her ability to avoid direct punishment, hoping to rehabilitate instead.
Though always hopeful for a better way, she understands some people don’t want to be helped. In these cases, it’d have to be a bit more long term. So as a temporary solution, she’d have to go through the usual means of dealing with the situation. Such as official warnings, detentions, etc. But still try to convince them to seek counseling.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Immediately run over and step between the two fighting. It’s important no one gets hurt any further than they already have. She completely understands the physical risks of this, but it’s essential for her to make sure all goes well. In this scenario, simply talking them out of it is simply not in the picture. She’d try to de-escalate the situation and have them separated and looked over for a while. As well as giving them detention slips.
When everything has calmed down, she’ll go talk to the students and see what’s going on with them personally. What feelings may have occurred to cause them to resort to violence, as well as checking if they’re well overall. She’ll try to look deeper than just seeing what the situation was about. At best, just going for counseling would be ideal. But she understands not everybody will be down for that every single time.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Try to get through to them personally. To her, there is no need to immediately resort to official means if it can be simply talked about. If she can successfully get through to them, and they start acting appropriately for the job, all is well.
If they refuse, she’ll have to report them to their HD, hoping they can take over. But she’d try to avoid having to do this at all costs, understanding how important a clean record and a job can be to someone. But, in the end, all that matters is a safe environment for all, no matter what has to be done. She will not hesitate to do what’s necessary.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
My character is calm and relaxed, especially on her job. Even though she might be on break, simply changing her behaviour is not something she’s capable of doing. Especially after working with students all day. I imagine she goes to have something to drink, maybe have some food from the microwave or go read a book. Trying to replenish her energy, rather than just trying to kill some time. She’ll still socialise, just not as much as she would outside of the job.

/me Relaxed her posture and adjusted the way she looked at the student. Her expression changed into something warmer, trying to make the student feel more at ease. Looking at the student, she notices a bit of discomfort, so she decides to reach into her pockets for a bottle of water she kept with her, handing it over to the student. ”I’m Kiyomizu. What’s your name?” She looked at the student, patiently awaiting a response. She maintained her calm composure.
/me Walked into the breakroom, coffee in hand, sitting down on a chair. She looked around and made sure she was in fact alone before relaxing herself and drinking some of the coffee she had brought. Just by looking at her face you could see a thought forming. She reached for her pocket, taking out her phone to go and check her messages. Whilst distracted, she managed to drop the coffee on the floor. Spilling it all. Having made a mess, she had to take a deep breath. It was audible, but calm. She stood up, grabbed all the stuff she needed to clean up, and fixed her mistake before going to get a new coffee.
/me Put her pen against the paper, listening intensely to the student that was speaking, she kept her smile up. She was working on a comprehensible schedule for the week for the student. She wrote quietly, her movements precise. Every now and then she’d look up from the paper to make eye contact with the student, nodding at them. Eventually, she turned the paper towards the student. Keeping it straight and from bending due to the breeze coming through the window. “Do you think you could try following this?”

Backstory
Kiyomizu Mizuneko grew up in Japan where she has spent the entirety of her life. Growing up, her family was far from perfect. Though she had a safe childhood, her family was incredibly disorderly. She’d constantly have to stress and pick up after others, manage things for them from a young age and constantly have to endure the embarrassment of going out in public with them, as every time something would have to happen. But, her parents were far from bad. They were always very loving and accepting of anything she’d do, often encouraging her to pursue the things she wanted to get into.
But nonetheless, Kiyomizu started developing habits that got in the way of proper living. She struggled speaking to people, managing her emotions and was just not a fun person to be around. Throughout her childhood, she often blamed everything but herself. She was lonely, stressed and uncomfortable. But as she grew older, she started looking back on her life, unhappy with how she’s been living it. This started motivating her to try and change for the better. Over time, she started to learn how to regulate her emotions, improve on her social skills and overall demeanor.
Added onto that, Kiyomizu started getting into hobbies and part time jobs to help her get away from home. At first, she jumped from one thing to another. One time she’d experiment with different types of instruments, other times, she’d be doing sports. Eventually, she learnt that she really enjoyed baking, and she spent a lot of her time at a friends’ house to do so together. She also started doing part time babysitting, as well as retail in order to start being more financially independent. Using her previously learnt skills, she started getting good at her jobs. Even being able to pass on some of her regulating techniques on the children she’d babysit.
She did well at school. She was a smart kid, often getting pretty good grades. Her social life was okay, she wasn’t the popular kid around, but she had a lovely friend group that she grew incredibly close to until they eventually lost contact later on in life. Eventually even getting into college where she’d actually end up pursuing her love for the kitchen. Here her life was a bit more boring, having to focus on her studies, she didn’t go out much or speak to any of her friends. But in the end, she did make it out with a masters.
At this stage of her life, she is a young adult. She started looking into jobs and working for a few different places. She worked in a few places, including a school. Eventually even adopting two kids of her own. But eventually, they moved out, and she realised she was no longer passionate about what she was doing. To her, working in a kitchen was fun, but not as a job. So at the young age of 39, she went back to school. Having gained a lot of work experience, she realised she enjoyed helping people out more than actually doing her job. So, having thought back on her life, she went to work towards becoming a school counselor.
This was a very specific career choice, and she chose this due to her experience in a school setting. Having enjoyed engaging with the students, as well as feeling like she was in the right place, she wanted to keep working at a school. She wanted to help others the way she learnt how to help herself. She’s had a lot of time to think this through, pretty much her entire professional life. So she was pretty certain this is what she wanted.
At her age, it was kind of scary for her. She felt out of place and constantly judged by the other students around her. However, this was hardly reality at all. Though this time, her overall experience was much better than the time before. She had her real life experiences, as well as more confidence she got with her age. Her social life was better, her performance was good, and she was happy overall. Having graduated again, she started looking for places to work at. Sending in a couple applications here and there.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
For a vast majority of my life, I’ve greatly cared for the youth. I’ve cared for children since I was a young adult, and have young adults of my own that I loved raising. I’ve already worked in school environments before pretty much all my employed life. And it’s been amazing to help students progress throughout school. This has solidified me into wanting to stick to a school environment. And I do believe I could’ve used someone like me back when I was in school. I want to be there for the students who struggle with school, as well as simply giving people a voice that is heard.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I can’t know what qualities other applicants will have. Some will be stronger in areas I might not specialise in, but I will gladly list the reasons I believe I could excel in where others might struggle more.
As I mentioned before, I’ve worked in these environments before. As well as in this school specifically. With this, I’ve built up so much more patience and understanding than I already had before. I believe I’m mentally strong enough to deal with this position without any struggle whatsoever. I’ve also got the heart and the passion for the job and the people who’d be sitting across from me. A job like this is more than just a job to me, it’s something important I’m glad to have to deal with pretty much everyday.
I’ve also got plenty of life experience. I’m in my 40’s, and life messes with everybody. I’m able to translate my life's experience into something useful to help students get theirs on track. I have a high education, so I feel like I can relate to students of any level at a personal level. I just think I’ve got a lot to offer when it comes to relatability, as well as professionally.

She did well at school. She was a smart kid, often getting pretty good grades. Her social life was okay, she wasn’t the popular kid around, but she had a lovely friend group that she grew incredibly close to until they eventually lost contact later on in life. Eventually even getting into college where she’d actually end up pursuing her love for the kitchen. Here her life was a bit more boring, having to focus on her studies, she didn’t go out much or speak to any of her friends. But in the end, she did make it out with a masters.
At this stage of her life, she is a young adult. She started looking into jobs and working for a few different places. She worked in a few places, including a school. Eventually even adopting two kids of her own. But eventually, they moved out, and she realised she was no longer passionate about what she was doing. To her, working in a kitchen was fun, but not as a job. So at the young age of 39, she went back to school. Having gained a lot of work experience, she realised she enjoyed helping people out more than actually doing her job. So, having thought back on her life, she went to work towards becoming a school counselor.
This was a very specific career choice, and she chose this due to her experience in a school setting. Having enjoyed engaging with the students, as well as feeling like she was in the right place, she wanted to keep working at a school. She wanted to help others the way she learnt how to help herself. She’s had a lot of time to think this through, pretty much her entire professional life. So she was pretty certain this is what she wanted.
At her age, it was kind of scary for her. She felt out of place and constantly judged by the other students around her. However, this was hardly reality at all. Though this time, her overall experience was much better than the time before. She had her real life experiences, as well as more confidence she got with her age. Her social life was better, her performance was good, and she was happy overall. Having graduated again, she started looking for places to work at. Sending in a couple applications here and there.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
For a vast majority of my life, I’ve greatly cared for the youth. I’ve cared for children since I was a young adult, and have young adults of my own that I loved raising. I’ve already worked in school environments before pretty much all my employed life. And it’s been amazing to help students progress throughout school. This has solidified me into wanting to stick to a school environment. And I do believe I could’ve used someone like me back when I was in school. I want to be there for the students who struggle with school, as well as simply giving people a voice that is heard.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I can’t know what qualities other applicants will have. Some will be stronger in areas I might not specialise in, but I will gladly list the reasons I believe I could excel in where others might struggle more.
As I mentioned before, I’ve worked in these environments before. As well as in this school specifically. With this, I’ve built up so much more patience and understanding than I already had before. I believe I’m mentally strong enough to deal with this position without any struggle whatsoever. I’ve also got the heart and the passion for the job and the people who’d be sitting across from me. A job like this is more than just a job to me, it’s something important I’m glad to have to deal with pretty much everyday.
I’ve also got plenty of life experience. I’m in my 40’s, and life messes with everybody. I’m able to translate my life's experience into something useful to help students get theirs on track. I have a high education, so I feel like I can relate to students of any level at a personal level. I just think I’ve got a lot to offer when it comes to relatability, as well as professionally.

Additional notes about your application: I want to clarify that I had a few months of inactivity due to IRL issues. I’m active now, and was active before that. I’m hoping I can still show that I can be relied on, and that I am very much dedicated to the server / the faction :D
