Describe your activity and potential punishment history as a player of the server:

I’ve been an active player on Roleplay Hub since June 15th, 2021, and since then, I’ve consistently logged onto the server at least once per day, usually for at least an hour or two regardless of if I had anything to do on the server. In addition, I’ve also been a relatively active player on other parts of the community, such as the Discord and forums. Moving on from my activity to my punishment history, I’ve received a few warnings – mostly from my early months on the server – and a ban. These warnings weren’t anything questionable, and were mostly due to my lack of understanding of the rules; mostly consisting of things like flooding IC chat, or chaining in OOC.

As for bans, I’ve had a ban which occurred on April 1st, 2023, and lasted for two weeks.

The ban in question was one for hate speech; an embarrassment to who I am, the punishment was more than deserved. Despite initially lying about the integrity of the ban, I’ve learned that it’s much better to be transparent about it to properly co-exist with the rest of the community. The context behind this ban lies behind a product of an urge to fit in with a negatively-influential group of friends I’d known since second grade; despite our long history, I’ve learned that it’s more healthy to alienate myself from these “friends”, and I’m no longer in any contact with any of them. Regardless, nothing that was said by myself was meant with ill intent toward any specific person, people, or peoples.

Through careful thought and reconciliation on my previous punishments, I can confidently promise that no mistakes like these will ever happen again. By no means does my punishment history reflect on my present self, as I’ve learned from my mistakes.

Are you aware that if you are inactive on the team you will be demoted?

Yes, I’m aware of the fact that I’ll be demoted from the Event Team if I’m inactive. However, I don’t plan on going inactive, so there shouldn’t be any worry in regards to this.

What previous experience do you have working in a team that would outshine other applicants?:

During the past school year, I’ve been affiliated with my high school’s track team as a runner. Despite the sport in general not having too much association with teamwork in general, it requires coordination between team members for certain parts of the sport, such as planning practices and meets, or coordinating during relay races and rallies. Members of the track team were also required to follow the school’s rules extremely closely, as (for some reason) we’re regarded as role models to regular students. Really, all these traits that we needed to have – maturity, responsibility, and sportsmanship – apply to being a part of the Event Team on Roleplay Hub. Other than the track team, I’m not currently affiliated with anything teamwork related. In the recent past, I’ve been a part of my high school’s baseball team, which required coordination both inside and outside of the sport. This means that teamwork was required on the field during games to perform at our best, and during practices and meets to plan each one. Similar to the track team, players were required to act as role models on and off the field to represent our school’s motifs. Aside from this, I was involved in three clubs in my freshman year; the Chess Club, MUN Club, and Jesus Club. None of these particularly require teamwork, but require coordination to plan meets and conventions, although the MUN club can teach a person some good virtues in regards to teamwork, which I seem to have benefitted from. In the distant past, I took a semester-long course on Leadership-101 in 7th grade. Despite the name, the class did teach me multiple valuable virtues in regards to working in a team. A year before that, I was a part of my school’s student council as a treasurer; despite the position, I was given more tasks in regards to leadership and teamwork than you’d think. All members of the student council were required to present biweekly speeches to individual classrooms and attend monthly meetings, requiring a great amount of coordination to practice. Our speeches were carefully divided between council members, based on our strong points of knowledge within the district.

Then, of course, there’s the minimal amount of “IC experience” which I’ve gained through different factions on the server. Several factions, such as the crime faction, police faction, and faculty have influenced my ability to work in a team as I've continued playing on the server. Moreso, I've learned to execute teamwork with the community than develop teamwork skills as a whole. I don’t really consider these positions to have had a huge influence on my ability to work in a team, but they most definitely tested my skills and further molded them into a more perfect attribute. The only faction that stands above all others was, of course, the Event Team, which I learned much about coordinating events and the execution of them, which can be implemented into my second wind.

Are you currently part of any Community Team? If so, which one and do you think you are able to manage your activity in both?

No, I am not currently part of any community teams. I was in the Event Team in the recent past, and I was able to handle my activity quite well during this time period alongside my IC factions/sports, as well as other parts of my actual life. During the summer, my activity will only increase compared to before.

Please provide a minimum of three (maximum of five) detailed event suggestions that would work for our server:

Four have been provided.

The High Seas - School Event
“I always wondered what luxury was like.”

Event Information

Japan, a nation kept in solitude by their natural barrier; the seas. A truly beautiful scenery would make for a great treat for the (not very) hardworking students of Karakura High School and Community College. An intercom announcement made by the principal or dean notified the students of the trip, fliers up for grabs pretty much everywhere students passed; out front of the council room, front desk, cafeteria, etc. To finalize the (IC) preparation phase of the event, an announcement would be made in the Academics and Roleplay Hub Discords to notify all players of the upcoming event. Google Forms would be opened for rooms to be claimed, with a maximum of four people per room, and over two-hundred rooms available.

The event would begin with students boarding a large cruise ship, big enough to fit a maximum of four-hundred students. Amazing, right? Must’ve cost the SLT a fortune to pay for this one.. After a certain amount of time, the bridge up to the cruise ship would be closed off, disallowing further entry to the boat. After a little while, and after rooms have been claimed by their respective occupants, the players would be teleported to a different part of the map to simulate a more perfect experience of a true cruise out on the open seas. The cruise ship which has been built by the amazing build team would have plenty of things for students to do; gyms, bars, lounges, pools, restaurants, libraries, and much more for players to roleplay out. Alongside these static environments, several small events would also be hosted by the event team, such as comedy performances and karaoke, which students can also volunteer to participate in.

Resources Required
  • Some Event Team members to act as workers on the ship, comedy shows, etc.
  • Some in-game announcements notifying players of the status of the ship
  • An announcement on the Roleplay Hub and Academics Discords
- /event &0[&c!&0] &fThe ship, which had been docked at the beach for hours by this point, was now ready to be boarded. A bridge which allowed entry was open for students to enter.
- /event &0[&c!&0] &fAs the last students boarded the ship, the bridge collapsed back into the side of the vessel. Moving further away from the shore, the cruise had finally begun.

Building Required
  • Obviously, a large cruise ship.
  • Perhaps some scenery around the area, could be a good addition!
Notes
  • Overall, the main point of the event is simply for players to have a fun, unique roleplay experience on the cruise ship. The event could be expanded upon to have a destination, (such as Seoul, or Kyoto) although with the way I have this event planned, it'd probably make it way too long.

Wildlife Infestation - Flash Event
“The brochures said this wouldn’t happen..”

Event Information

A simple event in which wildlife and humanity are no longer separated by the boundaries of the forest for a brief amount of time. It’s well known that certain animals (such as bears) cannot leave the confines of the forest, no matter what they do; however, what if for a little while, that wasn’t the case? Event team members, using morphs such as the bear, fox, or rat, would exit the restrictions of the forest to cause mayhem around the urbanized city. Although the animals wouldn’t do anything super drastic, such as fatally injuring someone, they’re definitely cause quite the disturbance; causing damage to properties, scaring the general public, and much more.

There wouldn’t be any real way for the citizens of Karakura to stop the infestation themselves; but who else, than the mighty Karakura Police Department? I’m sure they LOVE handling wild animals who want to claw them apart. . . . . Right? Anyway, the police force would come into play as the animal problem was brought to their attention. The police, obviously, since the animals don’t seem to mean truly major harm to the citizens of Karakura, would act the same; using tools such as pepper spray in dispersed areas and other methods to lure them back into the forest. After a little bit of back and forth, the forest would remain locked down for a brief day or two so the government may delegate what to do about the problem that may arise again.

Resources Required
  • Several Event Team members to act as the wild animals
  • The Police lead to be aware of the event to notify officers to not use deadly force.. . ..

Building Required
  • Temporary police tape/restrictions over forest entrances after the event.

False Alarm - Planned School Event
“KID PULLS FIRE ALARM, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT IS SHOCKING!!”

Event Information

The day everyone’s been stressing about; the dreaded college exams. As students finalize their preparations, one student in specific has different plans. Instead of working on their studies, this student has been manifesting a diabolical plan which he believes will get everyone out of doing exams, and a possible instant pass. Or, if not, perform a devious prank which will forever be praised upon his name. The exams will be announced as normal; in the Academics Discord, notifying players of when and where they will be. Usually hosted in the gym of the school, it falls perfectly into the hands of this character’s plotting.

The day of exams, students crowd into the halls of the school’s corridors, anxiously awaiting the moment in which the exams are officially going to start; this mischievous character remains blended into the crowds, waiting for the perfect moment to execute the plan. Moments later, the SLT and faculty begin to allow students into the gym; but their intercom message is made awfully short by a shrilling siren playing overhead. At this point, it was obvious what was happening. People thought it was a fire, then they saw no fire. Until, it happened; A faculty member who was sitting in the confines of the school’s plant nursery was smoking a cigarette around a bunch of dried vegetation due to the lack of care by the school. Each line of carelessness that was displayed on this day leads to another accident; the shrilling pitch of the alarms frightened the faculty member, causing them to drop the cigarette near the dry vegetation, quickly starting a large fire, confined to the nursery. Directly next door to the room which hosted the exams, this was no good sign for the dreaded exam which was meant to already be in progress.

As students are rallied to the very front of the school, near the Karakura Pillar, the individuals who started the trouble - both by accident and by purpose - sneak their way out of the school using the back entrance for their individual reasons. A small interaction between the two would take place, as the police swarmed into the school via the front gates with fire extinguishers, quickly ceasing the fire which was beginning to spread into the gym. For now, the school had narrowly dodged a bigger disaster than there might’ve been; however, the nefarious student who caused the entire mess was still out there. Well, until they checked the cameras. After that, he was HISTORY.

Resources Required
  • A couple event team members to play the faculty and student.
  • Several /events to be made throughout the event, acting as signals for each part.
- /event &0[&c!&0] &fAs students began to crowd into the examination hall, a disturbing alarm could be heard overhead, as red sirens blared in each corridor of the school.
- /event &0[&c!&0] &fNo fire was in sight, contrary to the irritating alarms. However, as students began to herd back outside of the school, a warmth could be felt if you got closer to the examination room..

Building Required
  • A small amount of building for the fire's development.

World Cup; Karakura Edition - Flash Event
“I know him.. That can’t be him though, RIGHT?! HE SUCKS!!”

Event Information

A small, goofy event whose point is to entertain the players online with a small performance. As the name implies, football will be the subject; both college and high school teams will be invited to play a part in this event. Event Team members will be playing "knock-off" versions of popular football players, who have been admitted entrance to the school grounds by SLT to initially make a collective speech in the gym in regards to sports and (what they think) the importance of sports are. After which, the football teams can individually challenge the guests to a football match. Surely, the "professional" football players would absolutely squash the mere college and high school football teams, even if they had three times the amount of players, right? At least, that's what I'd think. However, that wouldn't be the case; the home teams would absolutely dominate the (knock-off versions of) popular football players, leading to toxicity and small fights between the two teams after the match; bad sportsmanship.

Before the situation escalated, the faculty would've already made sure that nothing more was said or done after the match was over. Afterwards, the visiting players would be escorted back onto their buses outside the school, and driven off. However, a promise was made; they swore to come back another year. They would beat the lousy high schoolers and college kids at the most important sport in the world, football.

Resources Required
  • Cooperation between the football teams to play the Event characters.
  • Some /events, notifying their arrival.
- /event &0[&c!&0] &fA couple of buses seemed to appear from nowhere outside of the school. Several familiar faces leapt off out of the doors, and collected into the school.

Building Required
  • A couple of buses outside the school.

Additional notes (You may leave this blank):

Thank you for your application, unfortunately, we have decided to deny this application, some of the events you have suggested are not really practical and can't be hosted on a large scale. Aside from that certain detail is missing, most of the events can be planned in one hour. If you decide to reapply, try to remember that the event should work with 300+ people and I also encourage you to put in one bigger event that requires more planning.
