Applications:

Note: Professor is at my main account, at my alt have an adult role that I would like swapping it to my main account.

Describe your activity on the server:

On a scale of 0 to 10, I'd give it a 6 to 8. This varies depending on my college schedule, whether I have a test, an event, etc. Or if I'm traveling, in which case I'll log my inactivity if necessary. I think I can at least meet the minimum quota. I'm always online during peak server times, for example. A time between 12:00 and 22:00 BRT. Obviously not directly, but somewhere in between, sometimes even earlier or later depending on the situation or the day.

What is your motivation for applying?:
Three reasons, although one isn't the biggest.

1st - Crime in the city. I know it's very high, and I want to be someone willing to help, not only my friends, but also everyone in Karakura who needs help solving a serious problem, to try to increase security in the city. Even if it's impossible alone, let's face it. A friend of mine is also working in this position, and if I have any difficulties, I can turn to her if necessary. I hope she stays until I'm accepted, but nothing prevents me from meeting new people and creating new friendships. Where we can work as a team to keep the city safe from criminals.

2nd - Fun fact and a bit of background on the area: Look, my dad is also a police officer, so I know how difficult his job is here. It can be stressful, too. Dealing with various crime incidents, sometimes having to risk your life fighting criminals who are causing trouble, and in the past, he patrolled the city to make sure everything was okay. Today, he holds the highest position here, so he coordinates and sends other officers to investigate. This includes one time when, after we were leaving a pizzeria, some people were acting suspiciously, and he sent people to investigate what was going on. I don't remember what happened next, but I think they were criminals, and they were arrested. He's also told me about cases where he had to issue fines to people here, and my God, one was quite funny. I even saw the person responsible once, in a way, but here goes. Once, when I was coming back from college, a guy drove by in his car, with lights and sounds that mimicked police cars. This is obviously a crime, impersonating an authority figure. He did it just to cut people off or get them to move out of his way. When I told my dad, he said they were looking for that guy. If I had known, I would have taken a picture… Anyways, But the story doesn't end there. Since my father is in a high-ranking position, he gets a ride with another coworker in a somewhat discreet car, so he doesn't have to deal with various last-minute incidents to get to important work meetings. But anyway, it turns out that one time the same guy from the light I mentioned was behind him, and he tried to use it, but he didn't know it was a police car, and my father told him to simply take it off his car. I can only imagine how scared that guy must have been. But I know the police have much more to do, and this is just a small sampling. He's responded to incidents and arrested those responsible for bank robberies in several cities (in different cases). Several times, he has to go to the state capital, just for a few meetings, and much more.

3rd - What I consider less important, but still good, is money. Since on my main account, I live in the most expensive penthouse on the server, the 250k one, I think it's interesting to have an extra source of income, you know, to help me pay not only the rent, but things to decorate it, and make it look nicer or for food.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
It also depends on which police force we're talking about.

I'll share what I know about each police department.

1- Commissioner:

This is the chief position, the highest in the police force, and the one who commands, coordinates, and makes strategic decisions for the faction. Sometimes, they even direct others to act in an area where a crime occurred.

They are also the ones who monitor whether each officer is doing their job properly. They can punish officers based on their performance, congratulate them, or promote others who did a better job or who deserved the promotion.

Well, it's not the position I have the most in-depth knowledge of. That's the most I can say, now let's move on to the other two we have on the server and talk about each of them in detail!

2- Detective:

I still remember a game I played when I was little, Criminal Case. Where we had to INVESTIGATE murder cases. Collecting clues, interviewing suspects, conducting forensic research, until reaching a conclusion and putting the person responsible behind bars. In short! That's the detective's job: investigating. They look for clues, evidence, and conclude whether the person was guilty of the crime or not. The role is responsible for the job of picking out detail after detail, sometimes so many details that it seems overwhelming. And the game shows exactly that, because, without a doubt, a detective's job can be the most complicated. Why? Simple! You must be careful even down to the smallest details. For example, in the game, when we investigate a death and take the victim's body for anaysis, we can even come up with a profile of the killer! Whether they're right- or left-handed, their blood type, the clothes they were wearing that day. And by listening to other witnesses and suspects, their size, their strength. It's literally a job that shows how difficult this job is.
Note, this was only for murder cases! Because in this game, our role is to investigate that. Now, if we expand each service, it's not limited to that. A detective can investigate anything to reach the conclusion of whether the person was indeed guilty. Or clues that prove the person did something illegal, from robbing a bank to selling illegal items like illegal weapons.

3- Officer

I dont know what happened, but for some reason, my writing part of officer disappeared, so im writing here back. So, these are what we can call superheroes, because they often have to risk their own lives to keep us safe. It's very difficult to explain why, but I can say that the reason is due to the various violent confrontations that some police officers have to go through. I know this because my father had to deal with a situation like that in the past due to a bank robbery. Being a police officer, he had to respond to this very tense incident. So tense that even classes were canceled that day to avoid problems. I don't remember the exact day, but I think it was in April 2017 or 2018. I'm glad he's okay; this is just one example of what police officers sometimes have to deal with to keep us safe. It's not an easy situation; it's frightening, difficult, and dangerous, but it also shows the bravery required to face it.
And that's what I have to say about how I see the officers. They can be compared to heroes, because they must fight against evil, face extremely dangerous situations, and capture wrongdoers and send them to jail. They can make these arrests in various ways, whether through patrolling, after investigating a case, or after receiving a complaint from someone.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?

SRP is a server that simulates urban and everyday life. And so, there's Crime, there must be something that puts weight on the other side of the scale. In other words, the police, whose job it is to maintain a safe environment. But of course, that's not all. The server doesn't have a Firefighter position, which means KPD, along with EMS, must take over what should be the fire department. In other words, the SRP police force is not only as important as a police officer, but also as a firefighter, when working alongside EMS. They also oversee events involving the government or large numbers of people.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?

Yes

What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:

None, but I’m going to apply for Portuguese and JSL

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?

Renato is a Japanese man who was born and lived in Brazil for years. He has dark hair and green eyes. He is tall, about 1.80 meters tall. I won't elaborate much on his personality traits here, so I can use that more in his backstory instead, But Renato Sato, besides being considered tall by other people, has a serious face, which makes many people afraid of him, even though he is not angry. Even so, he doesn't seem like someone angry or rude, but rather someone calm, gentle and playful in his own way. Renato is also protective. Especially with his daughter Clara Sato, who is his only child, he would do anything to protect her, but of course, he obviously doesn't put justice second. If Clara did something wrong, even if it were sad, he would still forgive her. That's why he always raised Clara to be a girl who knows how to defend herself, her friends, but also does good.

So that's how I would describe Renato Sato. Behind someone who seems serious or angry, there's someone kind, loving, and who wants to do good for his family and everyone.

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?

Professional:

There are some similarities in Renato’s behavior both casually and professionally. but with some nuances, but first I will mention what he has in common with both sides.

Despite his serious expression, Renato is quite calm, kind, and flexible with people who make mistakes, especially those new to the field and unfamiliar with the work. He can criticize and point out mistakes, but never harshly, but rather calmly, allowing the person to understand their mistake. This wasn't just with coworkers. His family, too. Renato always spoke calmly and helped his daughter Clara Sato understand school subjects, such as what's right and wrong, how to help her friends, and so on. This is what he has in common with both areas, now the difference between your side Professional and Casual.

Professional:

Renato was a dedicated person. This didn't start with work, but rather from school and college onward. Renato was a person who always prioritized doing everything right, even though he obviously didn't always achieve his ultimate goals. He was someone who always put in a lot of effort, impressing his teachers, classmates, and friends. And who says he was just thinking about himself? He always tried to help his friends and colleagues who were struggling, if they dedicated themselves and showed they genuinely wanted to learn, not take advantage of him.

At work, things don't change. He demonstrated his dedication and commitment, which impressed his superiors. He was also kind to those who were struggling or going through tough times. There were times when he had to return late from work because a colleague was unwell and couldn't make it. He chose to take his place. However, he can't always do this; there are times when Renato prioritizes his family. His daughter's graduation from school and college, other family-related events, or when he's going through tough times, instead his friends like mentioned before.

In other words, in a professional environment, many feel comfortable around Renato, as he always tries to help those who are in trouble. Whether it's work-related, personal, or anything. He's someone who puts himself in someone's shoes, listens, and tries to help in any way he can. He's not rude when someone does something wrong, but rather simply calmly explains what went wrong and what should have been done.

Casual:

Casually, Renato is a family-friendly, friendly, and playful person, always someone who loves to talk about his day, or do something interesting that makes everyone happy. Firstly, family matters. Renato always shows himself to be protective and attentive, especially to his daughter, Clara Sato, who is his first child. Renato didn't like to see his family in danger or in trouble. He tries to help in any way possible, to make people happy, giving advice on what to do, like Clara. Renato always talked to Clara to ensure her well-being, to avoid dating just anyone she saw without really knowing them in depth. When she fell in love with a boy named Mateo Kato, Renato helped her by giving her advice and talking to him to learn more and be able to help Clara. This made Clara happy, because she found the right guy.

With friends he doesn't change much, he's still a person who always puts himself in the other person's shoes and tries to help from his perspective, what he would do for the person, and he also continues to be a playful person, but he's just not family-oriented, that is, he won't give them priority, if anyone in his family is going through problems first, if a family emergency happens, he will leave work and notify what happened.

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?

Positive, especially for police officers, where working alone is very risky because we don't know the criminal's profile. What if he's armed? What if he's in a group and those people are also armed? Working alone isn't good for this job because it can put your life at risk. In his view, a police officer should never work alone when patrolling, because someone else might try to stop him and even attack him. So that's why he thinks it's good to work as a team, but not only because of that, those people who have just started working, it's also interesting to work as a team with veterans at work, because if they have any difficulties during work, they will have someone to help

What's your character's backstory?

Renato Sato's story begins in Brazil, where he was born into a Japanese family who moved there in search of job opportunities. Since childhood, Renato has always found being a police officer interesting. For him, it's like being a superhero, as they're always in dangerous situations, like fighting fires or arresting dangerous criminals. He admired how this profession involves someone who risks their own life just to keep others safe, and Renato told his mother that's what he wanted to be when he grew up. Renato knew it was something that would be challenging, because he could put himself in danger in many situations. but he himself thought that he wants to be known by society as a great superhero.

In his youth, he spent a lot of time reading about how the laws worked, looking at unsolved criminal cases, thinking about how he could understand and even try to solve things that the police put as a mystery, why a single criminal, or a lot of criminals were never found. So, he began to study the laws extensively, what was right, what was wrong, the explanation of the law, and even the country's constitution. It was hard work because they were prohibited, but we broke the rules anyway. In his case, in Brazil, bicycles should be ridden on the street, if there is no bike lane, never on the sidewalk, unless you are a child, because children's bicycles are too small, and children don't have much control on bicycles and don't react well to car traffic. However, teenagers and adults should ride on the street if there isn't a bike lane. Laws change in different countries, and since he was thinking of moving to Japan someday, he studied Japanese law to understand what he would have to do. He realized that there are laws in Japan that are different from those in his own country, which surprised him at the time.

It was good that he saw it, because for him, it was confusing, extremely confusing, and it was one of the main difficulties he had, to understand the differences.

In Brazil, for example, despite things like crossing the street outside of a crosswalk or against a red light, even though there are laws that say you can't, it's not taken seriously. People cross in the middle of the street, they cross against a red light, after all, if there are no cars coming, they can cross. In Japan, this is much more strict. As mentioned, this was one of the biggest difficulties for Renato; he needed to fully understand the country's laws, but things didn't end there. Even after finishing law school or any other studies to become a lawyer, Renato had to pass several tests. These included psychological and physical tests, background checks, and training in marksmanship, self-defense, and first aid.

Even with all this, Renato said he won't give up. His goal was to keep the neighborhood and city safe for the people. Knowing that her daughter lives in Karakura nowadays, she decided to move to Karakura so she could help her and also make new friends and explore new opportunities.

General knowledge

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?

No, you cannot own this type of weapon. Just 2 you can, but in fact not to be used as weapon. Metal baseball bat, or Pipe Wrench. Of course, have other motives to really use these items, instead of using them as weapons.

Metal baseball bat: It should only be used for baseball, obviously, although people use it for attacks, they shouldn't be using it for that, because that constitutes assault. It's obvious what it was made to be. An object for practicing the sport of baseball, not for committing crimes. In fact, many of these bats belong to Karakura High School, the place that has the baseball field. Using it to commit crimes, then yes, it can be confiscated.

Pipe Wrench: Another item that's obvious to use for: repairing pipes. This is because pipes have that type of screw to keep them securely fixed and prevent leaks or problems, but that doesn't mean it will never happen. After all, sometimes you need to repair or maintain them because pipes wear out over time. Iron pipes, for example, rust, which makes the iron fragile, eventually causing holes or making the pipe burst.

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
Paracetamol, Cough Syrup, Wooden cane, Glasses, Eyepatch

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?

Depending on the situation, if there are cameras available, I will communicate with superiors about what happened, otherwise, I will separate them from the confusion and ask them to explain what happened. Do not use force unless necessary in self-defense.

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?

Well, this is quite delicate, and I hope I don't accidentally hurt my colleague in this situation. But to answer your question, I would use the Taser to neutralize his assault on the officer and arrest him before he can recover and try to attack me or my colleague again. If it was something more serious and he was truly injured, I'll notify the others while I take my colleague to the hospital. Trying to do his best to make sure he/she is okay.

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
I would be very disappointed by that. After all, our job is to protect the population from this, not the opposite. If I notice this happening, I will seek evidence of these problems and take it to the commissioner so he can deal with the situation. I will not confront him, as that would only worsen the situation, and that's not what I want. If any citizen has any evidence of this, they can collaborate and help us gather proof. The Commissioner will handle the situation and determine the consequences.
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?

I was going to say something sarcastically like, "Cool! That's interesting, but did you know this will make your criminal record worse? Trying to bribe me to gain an advantage so I can let you go free? Of course I won't, and that's being added to your record." I will then inform the others of what happened. I won't let a bribe ruin my career, no matter who's trying. A crime is a crime, there's no way to change that, other than trying to argue with the judge about it.
