Howdy howdy! I'm new here and a tad bit anxious

Howdy howdy friends! Name's Kaburii! So, ever since I played Garry's Mod a while back, I've always wanted to play on a roleplay server, and I happened upon this server website just a couple days ago and all, and since I've been in the mood for roleplaying again, I figured maybe I could join this one!

The problem is, I've always been really anxious with roleplaying. I've always been much more casual with my roleplaying, not taking things too seriously really, just having a good time. Especially because of my casualness with roleplaying, I've always been scared to join servers, especially servers like this where the rules just seem so extensive and complex... just kind of scares me, I'll be honest.

While the rules may be strict as they seem, the community I've seen lookin at this forum, and watching the 2018 video on the official YouTube channel and all, everyone here just seems so welcoming and friendly, and I really appreciate that, especially with my spooked self that doesn't know how to properly roleplay and all. (The friendly faces around here are the only real reason I feel comfortable talkin about all this)

I still don't quite know if I'll join the server, my spooks might hold me back from it, but I decided it'd be best to stick my toes in the water before stepping on in.
Either way, I hope everyone keeps havin a great time on the server, and continues to support each other in the community you all have cultivated!

hey gal, welcome to the server. i should probably give you some advice on surviving the battlefield this server can sometimes be.

1. avoid gangrp (fightrp) as it will either lead to the slow demise of you, your emotions, your sanity, and your character or get you into a never ending arguement in ooc.

2. have fun.

3. read 2.

4. try to make a name for yourself on the server. either be the greatest roleplayer, obtain some fancy tech, or if you're the reincarnation of John Wick (chapter 3 is still the most badass one), become the best gangrper. of course you dont have to do this, but it'd be cool to see you become some celebrity.

Thank you friend! I usually prefer to play a pacifist, so I'll PROBABLY just stick to not gangrp-ing. Besides all that, I dunno what much I could really do to be a noticeable face on the server, but I can certainly try!
If only I could still be a goat, but that would just be a costume by the server rules. Nyeh. I guess I COULD wear the goat skin as a costume, and just act like the weird girl that dresses in a goat costume and says "I am goat" with the broken third-person english... but I don't think the server rules nor serious rpers would like that much.
