Timezone worries are common as I am based in Australia, however, this issue has never taken my ability to properly perform my position. I've been in many factions & teams and this has never played a role in stopping me from participating in events and scenarios.

Describe your activity on the server:
I am a decently active player on the server, especially for someone with quite a large amount of extracurriculars outside of school. As a fulltime secondary highschool student with a part time job, I'd be a liar if I said I spend 10+ hours a day on SRP! Although, I do spend a fair share of time roleplaying. Admittedly, I find myself running around half the time, hence why I am applying. This will give me something to do and put my effort into.

What is your motivation for applying?:
To be straightforward, the majority of my motivation was coming back to a community, the government faction community in particular. While the roster has many new faces, I recognize a few familiar names and would like to be a part of this community again! As a quick refresher, I ended up leaving my position as a lawyer because I had too many OOCly responsibilities at the time. However, this time I decided to bounce back as a Judge and explore the other roles this faction has to offer. Something I enjoyed previously was the ability to build a character through the world of judicial court. It was an opportunity to build a character that wasn't your typical high school jock, or cheerful Susan. I filled the shoes of a licensed lawyer. That's the type of roleplay I perform the best in and hope to encompass during my time as a Judge.
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I've upheld an understanding over my previous run in this faction and will continue to do so upon acceptance. A photographic memory isn't something I was blessed with so I'll be frequently coming back to it.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
The main goal of mine in this faction is to step out of my comfort zone. While I've been in a wide variety of factions, I've always limited myself to talking to a few people or not taking any risks, seeing it as a task rather than having fun and not exploring the outlets of my position. This time around, I'd like to do a U-turn and change that heavily. While the government faction is heavily professional, I will roleplay and perform my role as a real-life Judge would do, I'd also like to have some fun with it! After all, we're all playing a game, a literal pixel game.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:

| Higher-ups | ‣ Mayor Person who oversees the faction and ICly oversees the city, in this case it's Infi. Infi is tasked with the role of making sure this whole operation runs smoothly. The mayor is typically involved with most of the tasks to do with the faction as they are the lead. Everything goes through them. If you're in trouble, you face them, and so forth. ‣ Deputy Mayor The deputy acts as the mayor when the mayor isn't present. They take on most, if not all responsibilities of the mayor when subject to. ‣ Head Of Department Heads of departments, the departments being lawyers, judges, and governors are all typically tasked with the same role as their department it's just that they have that tiny bit of extra responsibility. In my experience, the head is tasked with making sure everyone in their department is in line, training, and making sure their department members are on point. Typically they're your first contact point if an issue were to come up, or you needed quick advice. |
| Governor | On SchoolRP, Governors are tasked with a variety of different responsibilities. They are very heavily involved in trials and hearings. Not only spectating them but documenting and overseeing the general basis of them. In my experience, they've been the ones tasked with announcing these trials as well, and potentially even speaking at said hearings. Along with these heavy-duty responsibilities, they're tasked with the unique responsibility overseeing of factions and mainly shop-inspections. As seen in the guidelines thread, governors are to also survey the public, hand out IDs, officiate marriages, and approve adoptions. |
| Judge | The Judges domain is normally the courtroom. Being that their job is to decide the verdict of many potential scenarios, they're tasked with taking all the evidence and information gathered to provide a neutral and unbiased opinion and verdict, whilst referring to Karakura's laws and constitutional rights to decide the outcome of a case. Though, their work doesn't stop there. They're also tasked with unique responsibilities, these are reviewing cases and issuing warrants. Alongside that they still have the typical duties to perform, handing out IDs, officiating marriages, filing restraining orders, front desk work, and approving adoption paperwork. |
| Lawyer | Lawyers also have a critical role in the courtroom. They're tasked with defending a client, whether they were assigned to them or took them it's their role to prove them innocent or prove their opposition guilty. They gather evidence to use in the courtroom to convince the judge of a plausible outcome where their client comes out on top! While they'll do everything in their power to prove their client's innocence, they'll do anything in their power to cash that paycheck. They're tasked with these responsibilities alongside representing clients, front desk work, building a client list, client meetings, attorney calls, filing restraining orders, and of course, attending trials. |
‣ Each department earns the same paycheck of 250,000 yen monthly given that they've reached their minimum quota of 25 points per month. Each additional 5 points on top of their minimum required quota is equal to 50,000 yen added to their paycheck. The maximum amount is 350,000 yen or 35 quota points. However, players may wish to pass 35 quota points, though they will not be paid compensation for any additional quota points.

I acknowledge and recognize removal of my position as a Judge in the faction is a consequence I may face.
