FOREST SET ABLAZE BY CRAZED SPIRITUAL CLEANSER

Yesterday at around 3:15 (PST), a large forest fire broke out in the middle of the forest by the cabins. Witnesses and reports state that a spiritual cleanser was attempting to cleanse the forest of negative spirits when it all went down
HOW THE FIRE STARTED:
Witness reports and an interview with Officer Kosuke Ishioka stated that the cleanser started the fire. The reason behind it is unknown now, though we can assume it had something to do with the spiritual process of cleansing the forest.
Witnesses reports state that the spirits put out the first round of fires, though the cleanser only started the fires up again
KPD got the call that a forest fire was occurring and they swiftly responded, that's when the spiritual cleanser whose name will be renamed nameless, ran from the officers and began to set the forest even more ablaze using a lighter
This caused chaos to spread and erupt throughout the forest. Wildlife began to receive burns and began to attack the citizens out of fear. Citizens watched and observed stupidly as the fire burnt through the trees and surrounding area.
KPD’S ARRIVAL:
KPD was swift to respond to the scene. KPD received the call that the forest was on fire around 3:10 PM (PST). They quickly geared up in riot gear and gathered the proper equipment, fire extinguisher, and fire axes, before rushing and arriving at the scene at around 3:15 PM (PST)
KPD quickly split up into groups, most of them focussing on evacuating the large crowd of people that surrounded the area. While the other group focuses on putting out the forest that was spreading across the forest
As soon as KPD arrived the spiritual cleanser ran from them took a lighter and began to light the forest and area around ablaze. Though it's unknown his/her reasoning behind this act of vandalism and arson, people can only assume it was to simply cause more chaos and make it harder for KPD. During this time wildlife, KPD officers, and potentially citizens all faced injuries from the fires that were spreading throughout the forest. An interview with Kosuke Ishioka, a cadet and one of the officers that was at the scene, stated that and I quote
“Unfortunately a few animals were reported of injuries, I am unsure if they were treated. Officers, who again will remain nameless, did sustain a few injuries, however they were nothing serious” - Kosuke Ishioka
THE AFTERMATH:
The fire's aftermath has left injuries to the wildlife, KPD, and the forest area around. The area around the cleansing has been observed to have still burned and charred markings in the ground, and the long by it is charred too.
The fire spread horribly and quickly through the forest. It started by the cabins and ended up by the estates. A charred tree was observed to be right next to the jumping tower by Bear cave
The Spiritual cleanser was arrested by KPD and charged with Arson after the situation. As of right now, it’s unknown how long he is in jail, or his bail, as Arson is not an official charge in the government
With that all being said and done, we need to use this as a learning moment for our city. Citizens need to learn to respect KPD and not stick around to watch the fires. It may be cool but all it does is make it harder for KPD to control, as more of them need to focus on crowd control and protecting the citizens compared to handling the situation properly.
