I find the debate between if she was right or wrong very interesting

Honestly from the creators presepective its a bit of both

Her actions were wrong, she shouldnt have ever done the things she did. She tranqed Sada, beat Asha, Tranqed and tased and KIDNAPPED EMS, and almost killed Daiki. All of her actions were something that were a result of her loosing herself due too the negelect
NOW her mental health declining was a result of KPD and others negelecting and mistreating her during this time, though in the end she should have just surrended and spoke out about it publically instead of doing it in such a voilent way

which is sorta what the article outlines but in the buzzfeed fashion. YES we get it she had her points.. but the execution of it all was got awful. The fact she couldnt spread awareness WITHOUT all the violance is the major piece.

Yeah Amaya could have 100% handled the situation better. She could have instead spoke pubically about the negelect and informed Karakura jn a much more non voilent way but the truth is, it wouldn’t have the same impact sadly

Amaya’s death and corruptuon caused a hiroto level impact towards KPD changes. KPD has already started to make changes to prevent corruption and to better take care of their officers mental health. Aswell as the impact that Amaya had in the city due to her death and corruption again reallt showed how bad mental health can change someone. Her attacking others was the one way to truly get her point across of how neglecting someone after a hard traumatic event can really fuck up the person
Now no, this wasn’t her ICLY goal. Her end goal was too make KPD realize and feel guilty about their neglect towards her. She wanted to put pressure on KPD so that they would be forced to change. KPD betrayed her and she wanted to take it down and chose that violence was the way to do that
